可能我个人的经历，并不能很好的说明成功总是留给有准备的人。那么，我给大家讲一个故事! 有位学者某日去报告厅为当地企业家培训班作学术报告，当他走进报告厅时台下早已坐满听课的经理和领导们。便急忙走上讲台，从包中取出软盘插入多谋体教学工作台的微机中。不巧，电脑打不开这软盘，台下引起几许私语声。这位学者忙笑说：大家别急，我的讲稿同时下在u盘里。边说边取出u盘插入电脑，可惜电脑读不出u盘。行来台下一阵议论。学者忙说：这台电脑是连网的，我的讲稿也存入我邮箱中，待我上网打开邮箱咱们照样可以讲座。于是便上网查到自已邮箱。倒霉的是他的邮箱今天也打不开了，这时台下一片哗然。学者苦 笑道：今天真是怪了，怎么不顺都赶到一块了?不过大家先不必着急，我还带来移动硬盘了，硬盘里我也备份了讲仪。说罢取出移动硬盘接好，投影屏上终于显示出讲仪标题：成功来源于充分的准备。此刻台下响起热烈的掌声。这个故事启发我们，只要我们做好准备，就等于向成功迈进了一步!

一天猎人带着猎狗去打猎。猎人一枪击中一只兔子的后腿，受伤的兔子开始拼命地奔跑。猎狗在猎人的指示下也是飞奔去追赶兔子。可是追着追着，兔子跑不见了，猎狗只好悻悻地回到猎人身边，猎人开始骂猎狗了：“你真没用，连一只受伤的兔子都追不到!”猎狗听了很不服气地回道:“我尽力而为了呀!”再说兔子带伤跑回洞里，它的兄弟们都围过来惊讶地问它：“那只猎狗很凶呀!你又带了伤，怎么跑得过它的?”“它是尽力而为，我是全力以赴呀!它没追上我，最多挨一顿骂，而我若不全力地跑我就没命了呀!”人本来是有很多潜能的，但是我们往往会对自己或别人找借口：“管它呢?我们已尽力而为了。”事实上尽力而为是远远不够的，尤其是现在这个竞争激烈的年代。必须常常问自己，我今天是尽力而为的猎狗，还是全力以赴的兔子呢? 相信大家都清楚了抓住成功的两个因素!想成功的同学，就要从现在开始做好准备，并且全力以赴吧!

Fossil energy resources， including coal， oil and gas， are unlike sunlight， water power and wind power which are generated consistently. They’re not practically reproductive during human history. Once consumed， they’re gone forever. If they were to be exhausted before we could find sufficient reproductive resources to replace them with， we’d have to live in entire blackout again like our ancestors have done thousands of years ago. That’s of course not what anyone would want to see.
Due to technical limitations， people still have to utilize these resources now.
As a result， we must economize them most cleverly. New techniques should be developed and applied to reduce energy cost in industry and daily life. Alternative energy should be employed wherever possible. Eradicate any practice that wastes energy. Humans have overcome so many crises in history， and we’re sure to win this time also.

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. My topic is “Give environment more care”. I’d like to talk about some global environmental problems, share some of my stories and show you some data in my speech.
At the beginning, I’d like to ask you a question. Has your hometown’s environment been polluted, if it has, raise your hands please? （Thank you） Let me give you an impression of my hometown. That is a small village of Yunnan province. There are many mountains, forests and rivers. If you go there, I promise you will be amazed by its beautiful landscape. When I looked down, dirty and poisonous rivers are full of unrecyclable rubbish and giving out unpleasant smells. When I looked forward, so many people wore their mouth masks. As we know, in the past few centuries, human have made countless remarkable achievements in science and technology to explore the mysterious world better. Conquering nature with powerful tools, people have achieved material prosperity. Meanwhile, environment has been badly damaged. So a series of severe problems come along, such as species extinction, energy crisis, incurable diseases, the three main pollutions etc. All of these factors bring our beautiful planet disasters, humanity as well. Let me show you some statistics. According to the report from World Wide Fund for Nature, the species of entire world have declined by 52 % since 1970. That means about 75 kinds of precious species disappear forever from the Earth each day. In addition, scientists claimed that human now need one and a half Earth to meet the demand for natural resources. Another frightening data from the UN in 2012, there are almost 8.4 million people around the world who die of cancers caused by environmental issues every year. It is so horrible, isn’t it? Man has taken too much from nature, also paid such a heavy price for it. If we don’t try to change these situations, what will happen one or two centuries later?
But, fortunately, the majority throughout the world are aware of the significance of environmental protection. Much many individuals, environmentalists and organizations have taken actions spontaneously. Companies donate part of their profits to support some green projects. Moreover, Government has carried out many policies to conserve endangered species, support green industries and encourage people to live a green life. From a global perspective, though it is a long journey to make the Earth recovered and to live in harmony with it, I do believe that, with everyone’s efforts, we will finally get there.
Ladies and gentlemen. For ourselves, for our children, and for all human beings, by the end of my speech, I do hope you can keep the following words in mind ---- The nature’s prosperity is humanity’s prosperity.
