We live in a world full of competition. And the examination is one of the tools to exam whether we meet the standard or not. If we want to enter the key university, we have to get high marks on the College Entrance Exam;if we want to have a good job, we will go through a series of interviews and tests;If we want to drive a car, we have to pass the driving test. Some people complain that there are too many exams in our lives, and these exams cannot truly or fully reflect a person’s ability. Unfortunately, our fate and future are depending on these exams. We cannot avoid them.
It’s true that the examinations can only test what we remember instead of what we know. A student with a good memory may find it very easy to get high marks before the examinations. All he needs to do is to remember the knowledge from the textbooks. In this situation, it’s quite unfair to evaluate the students only through exams. What’s more, some unexpected accidents may happen to the students such as a high fever or a sudden headache; this will affect the final marks. Since no one can performs stable all the time.
Sometimes, luck plays a vital role in the examinations. The student may guess an answer right although he doesn’t work hard on the course. If the student has a good handwriting, he may get higher marks than others. There are many subjective factors that may affect the outcome of the exams.
In a word, it’s not enough to use exams to evaluate the students. If the schools want to assess the students, they shouldd use different ways. Only in this way, the result may be fair.

I believe the craving some young women have to copy what is promoted as the ideal figure for a woman is the cause of their obsession with excessive dieting. Obsessive dieting certainly does happen, as is illustrated by the numerous articles in magazines about people suffering from anorexia. Almost exclusively, this obsession relates to younger women who are constantly bombarded with the supposedly ideal woman as depicted in women’s fashion magazines, Most of these fashion models are very slim, some of them excessively so. There is nothing wrong with a sensible controlled diet aimed at losing some excess weight but, when the need to diet becomes an allconsuming passions, that is when the danger occurs. Often, the people who become susceptible to the lure of the “perfect” figure are not aware of what is happening to them. Usually, preventing dieting becoming an obsession will depend on friends and relatives recognising the warning signs. As for preventing the basic cause of this problem, that is a much more complex issue as it involves the standard mores of the society and people being aware of their responsibilities. Education about the dangers of excessive dieting needs to be part of the solution for prevention.
In conclusion, an obsession with dieting can be prevented by friends and relatives of the dieter as well as an education campaign about the dangers of excessive dieting.

●Word power

我看着这些东西，发呆。
也许的也许，你早已将它们扔进了回收站，然后一个叫时间的清洁工将它们收走，正如我一度试图将它们尘封。

这段过往，到底该算作什么呢
我知道你讨厌我，就像我曾讨厌你一样。可他们就像抗日战争时期说着流利中文的日本特务，我没法怀疑他们，或者说，相信你。而你从未作任何解释。

我们终究要长大，长成杨彬和余蔚锋。

“当你觉得整个世界都背弃了你时，请相信它只是背过身去酝酿一个更美的拥抱。”她说道。
她是我的同学，是我的闺蜜，也是我最好的知音。在没有她的过去，受尽屈辱，面对各种欺骗与背叛的我，犹如徘徊在悬崖边不停地挣扎，我的世界一片昏暗。
直到她的出现。她叫昕，她有一双水汪汪的大眼，虽然鼻梁上架着一副二百多度的学生眼镜，那厚厚的镜片却挡不去她那似碧水一般清澈的双眸，更重要的是她还有一个笑起来迷人的芳唇。
那一次，我刚来到一个陌生的班级，见人多便脸红的我，站在讲台上低着头颤颤地做着自我介绍，我的眼睛小心翼翼地撇着下面的同学。有的在交头接耳，有的眼睛上下打量着我，还有的在睡觉就像这不关他事一样。直到我的目光与昕的目光撞在了一起，她在下面眯着眼嘴角微微上仰的看着我，她微笑似春天里的阳光，融化了我内心的寒冰。

我在一旁非常惊讶地听着，但有撇过去意犹未尽的闭眼沉思，也微笑着说：“一生中至少有一次为了某个人而忘记了自己，不会曾经拥有，只求在我最美的年华遇到你。谢谢你的微笑。你似在黑夜中那一弯明月照亮我的心，把我拉出了那谷底。”
火柴不会因为熄灭而哭泣，因为它曾经燃烧过。飞蛾不会因为死亡而畏惧，因为它曾经追求过。流星不会因为陨落而遗憾，因为它曾经灿烂过。花朵不会因为枯萎而伤感，因为它曾经绽放过。
所以让我们放弃冷漠，丢弃仇恨，打开心扉，去分享你的快乐，解脱你的痛苦。

巷，是江南独有的景致。比起明妍婉丽的楼台水榭，或是清新恬淡的小桥流水，巷，都更显得温柔妩媚，宛若古代画卷中体态婀娜容止端庄的女子。她可能在城区高大的楼房之间，也可能是在郊外空旷的土地上，无论处在何方，她总是一如既往的静娴安详。
春日里的巷，仿佛杜鹃花的绽放，安恬而又灿烂。天气虽然乍暖还寒，但在这融融春光里，有微风沿着巷子拂过门槛，有红杏顺着院墙探出头来，有燕子站在房梁上筑巢，甚至还有野草在矮小的瓦房顶上伸出嫩芽。若是春雨飞泻，不过半日，巷子里的石板上必会爬满青翠欲滴的苔藓，密密麻麻的。巷子里的一切是如此的安谧，却又无时不在展示自己蓬勃的生命力。

除了钟南山院士外，还有许许多多为疫情奉献的医护人员，他们同样令我们感动，同样应该被我们记住。接下来我要说的这位大家也很熟悉，她就是著名的韩红，但这次韩红被人崇拜不是她的歌声，而是她的慈善行为。我记得我看过一个采访，韩红用坚定的语气说：“我是个公益人。”是啊，她把自己的精力用在了慈善上，她把自己的钱都快捐空了，尽管就是辣椒拌饭，她也坚持做公益。就在这次抗疫中，她再次伸出了大爱之手，亲自去武汉献爱心。因驾车过度劳累而倒在了病床上，病床上的她突然间黯然褪色。不得不说，曾有人对她提出了质疑，但她最后得到了清白，她不仅仅是歌星，更是爱心的象征与责任的标志。
这样的英雄还有很多很多，他们是伟大的，他们是值得我们永远记住的，他们是我们永远的偶像!

下课了，我们组要留下来打扫卫生，高颖薪先走了，她在走出教室的时候，回头看了我一眼，我们的目光对在一起，但是很快就分开了。在扫地的时候，孙静雯小声地对我说：“其实你冤枉高颖薪了，是马启超推的她，她才撞上去的。”
