啸虎身上的毛发有着美丽的颜色：一身纯溜溜的毛发呈现出棕红色，在太阳照耀下，闪着金光。最特别的就是它脖子上那漂亮的约6厘米宽的一绺白毛，好像戴上了一条白围巾，显得雍荣华贵。一双炯炯有神的小眼睛，小巧玲珑的长鼻子，鼻子下面长满锋利牙齿的大嘴巴，加上那不停摇晃的尾巴。如果遇到陌生人，它的尾巴便直直垂下来；每当向主人讨好时，尾巴就左右摇摆。

我们几个小朋友追过去，扔了一截香肠给啸虎吃。很不凑巧，被刚才那条狗发现了，刚才那条狗扑上去立刻把香肠吃了，啸虎虽然一点都没吃到，但他却不生气。这时我们又扔了一截香肠给它吃，啸虎居然避开了，看它的眼神，好像在说“我不吃别人的食物。”所以它让给另外那条狗吃了。

还有一件事最让我感动：啸虎发现远处有个小孩不小心把自己的鞋子踢飞了，飞到马路边低洼处的一棵树上，拿不下来。啸虎发现了，连忙跑过去，只见它从马路高处一纵身跳到树梢，非常准确地衔起那双鞋，把鞋子送到那个小孩面前，又迅速回到主人身边。
