一、适量实际原则
很多学生制定英语学习计划，都容易进入误区，恨不得一个暑假要学完整个初中英语，然而在执行的过程中却不断的打折扣，最终学习计划以失败告终。而适量实际原则就是根据实际情况指定任务量来完成计划，而不是仅凭臆想来制定计划，实际适量的学习计划是同学们根据自己的情况“量身打造”的，所以通常情况下比较实用，计划执行起来也就比较顺利，完成计划的概率会大大提升。
二、不断优化原则
相信同学们英语计划上一定有类似的句子“每天背20个单词”，而且是一个暑假中每天都是这样的计划。如果20个单词很轻松的背下来，为什么不尝试优化一下计划呢，比如：尝试着优化背单词的方法，由每天的20个单词提高到25个，或者是用背的20个单词造句子，计划需要不断完善，同学们也要不断挑战自己，只有强迫自己不断进步，今后英语学习之路才会越走越顺。
三、持之以恒原则

四、归纳总结原则
暑假期间，每天都要总结一下今天做了什么，制定的计划有没有完成，如果是轻松完成，需不需要优化学习计划，如果是没有完成找一下是什么原因，这样既能验证每一天学习计划的合理性，又能实时优化学习计划，进而养成良好的英语学习习惯。
暑假英语学习时间安排
1、利用早晨的时间记忆单词。早晨头脑比较清醒，注意力集中，利用早上的时间记忆单词效率会更高。
2、白天完成英语暑假作业、预习新知识。做暑假作业是为了巩固此前学到的内容，而利用暑假做好学期预习能为下学期打好基础。
3、晚上可以阅读一些英语课外书、听英语新闻、英语歌曲；也可以回顾一整天学到的知识，利用“过电影”的方式想一下早上的单词、白天学到的内容。

背单词

背单词不是一天两天就能完成的工程，只要你接触英语，就离不开背单词，所以，同学们要做好长期、困难的准备。同时，也要养成温故知新的学习习惯。
练听力
暑假期间正是同学们练习听力的好时机，其实听力练习就是一个熟能生巧的过程，利用暑假，同学们可以通过CCTV国际频道、BBC英语新闻、VOA慢速英语等来练习听力，当然，课本同步的英语听力是必须要听的。只有把耳朵练出来，才能提升英语听力。
