天色越来越暗，但抬头望去，小路蜿蜒着通向远处那不知名的地方，看不到边，我们的步代也变得沉重，心中被恐惧与绝望笼罩着，必竟走了那么长的路，谁能不累啊？于是我们全体停了下来，休息了片刻，刹那间一片寂静，只能听见泉水涓涓流动的声音，与偶尔传来的清脆鸟叫声了。
当起来再行进时，我们全身又充满了力量，勇气又回到心间，我们又坚定地向前走去。
就这样走走停停，终于看见一丝亮光，啊！太好了！我们走出森林源头了，我们获救了！太棒了！到公交车站了，我顿时激动得说不出话来，想到马上就能下山，我们又要回到繁华市区，而不是被困在伸手不见五指的深山之中，心中不禁更是翻腾起来。坐上车，我才知道我真的已经很累了，刚坐下来，全身都酸软了，像一滩泥，再也不想站起身来了，真是舒服。
这夜游金鞭溪虽有点恐怖，但也有说不尽的好玩。

人们都说：“不到金鞭溪，枉来张家界。”去年的暑假，我来到了张家界，才发现张家界的奇山异石都不敌金鞭溪“溪边照影形，天在清溪底”的绮丽之美。
金鞭溪的水，是“奇”的。刚走进金鞭溪风景区，就能感到空气之清新，溪声之灵动。我走到溪边，就被这溪水之奇吸引住了。阳光洒在溪水上，溪水从不同角度发出各种颜色，有粉色、嫩绿色、天空蓝等，每种颜色虽是隐隐约约的呈现着，但合在一起，让本来波光粼粼、清澈见底的溪水多出了一份神秘与奇特。在水底，能清晰地看见有许多鱼儿在游动，它们聚成一团，在水下欢颂、起舞。
金鞭溪的石，是“奇”的，它们也给金鞭溪增添了一份美丽。有的石，分布在水中，它们就是鹅卵石，经过成百上千年的冲打，被磨去了棱角，以各种形式呈现在我们眼前。有菱形、有方形、还有心形，它们是鱼儿们玩躲迷藏游戏的好地方，也会被小朋友拾起收藏。还有些巨大的岩石，不知从哪滚落而来，它们有的立在岸边，有的立在水中，在水面搭起一座天桥，走在这天然石桥上，也别有一番风趣。
金鞭溪的动物，也是“奇”的。在溪边，总会遇见几个小猴子在此地嬉戏。它们是充满灵性的，有的会守在岸边，老老实实地坐着，但你可别被它们的假象给迷惑住了。当它们看到有人拿着吃的走过时，就会俯下身子，双眼紧盯着你不放，再趁机一跃，伸出双手抓住你的袋子，抢走你的零食，你还没反应过来，它就已经以胜利者的姿势带着抢到的“美味”跑上山了。有的猴子会成群结队的来到岸边，一个个像下饺子似的“扑通”一下跃入水中，在水中嬉戏、打水仗，有的猴子颇为顽皮，它走到你身边，泼你一身水，然后笑嘻嘻的回到猴群中。
