到了大年三十可真热闹，家家敢做年夜饭到处飘荡着酒肉的香味。大门外贴上了红红的，屋里贴上了漂亮的，每一家都灯火通明，欢欢喜喜地围坐在一起，包饺子，吃团圆饭，相互谈论着自己一年来的收获。门外的鞭炮声起伏不断，我忍不住拿了一挂鞭炮跑了出去。
正月这天男女老幼都穿上新衣服，到亲戚，朋友家拜年。小孩子们拿着长辈发的压岁钱高高兴兴的去买爆竹和玩具。
正月十五是过年中最热闹的一天。人们从四面八方来到县城观看社火表演。社火的队伍可真长啊，有锣鼓队，秧歌队……还有许多学生组成的方队。到了晚上人们举头赏月，吃，看烟火，观灯展，猜灯谜，忙的不亦乐乎。
一转眼，到了正月十九，过年就结束了，人们又开始了忙碌的生活。

春节里的喜事很多，我今天要讲的喜事很普通，对于你们来说也许有点微不足道。
春节临近，天公却不作美。下起了50年难遇的暴风雪。雪下得足足有15厘米多厚，屋檐下挂的冰挂有十几厘米长，冰冻成了灾害。道路结冰造成了交通中断、物资紧缺，许多电杆“折腰”。停电、停水的问题接踵而来。冬天本来就冷，没有电就不能烤火，这就更是雪上加霜了。停电后，我家蜡烛用完后，市面都没有卖了，只好早早吃完晚饭，天一黑就睡了。还有让人头痛的是停电后水也停了。每天为了水要到很远地方去提，水比金子还要宝贵！刚开始洗脸一天一次，到后来两天一次，洗澡更成“天方夜谭”。这样的生活让我们又回到了“原始社会”全乱了套。虽然春节即将到来，可是没有一点喜庆的气氛，恨不得马上结束这种“暗无光日”的生活。
三十的清早，来电了，来水了！我打开灯，灯瞬间亮了；打开电暧炉，立马热了；打水龙头，顿时水“哗哗”流了出来。我高兴得手舞足蹈起来，“原始社会”终于结束了，我们的生活又恢复了正常。
我从电视“抗击冰雪”特别节目里，看到温在44小时里两次亲临湖南视察灾情，并不顾危险爬上山去慰问电力英雄。那感人的一幕幕让我不禁感慨万千：温是多么的亲切呀！党和政府是多么温暧呀！平时毫不在意的电，在此时是多么的珍贵，是电力英雄用生命换来的。
有这样的，有这样的党和政府，有这样的英雄，难道不是我们的一件喜事吗？这件喜事不属于个人，属于大家！
