元宵节的介绍
农历正月十五是元宵节，是中国的传统节日元宵节。又称上元节、元夜、灯节。
农历正月十五元宵节，是我国一个重要的传统节日。这一天古代称为“上元”，其夜则称“元夜”、“元夕”或“元宵”。我国古代的历法和月相有密切的关系，每月十五日必逢满月，叫做“望”。满月象征着团圆美满，在正月十五人们迎来了一年之中第一个月满之夜，这一天理所当然地被看作是吉日。根据《史记乐书》的记载，早在西汉初期，宫廷中就有了正月十五祭祀太乙神（天帝），祈求福佑的'礼仪活动。按中国民间的传统，在这天上皓月高悬的夜晚，人们要点起彩灯万盏，以示庆贺。
元宵节花灯，出门赏月、燃灯放焰、喜猜灯谜、共吃元宵，合家团聚、同庆佳节，其乐融融。
元宵节是农历新年的第一个月圆之夜，象征着春天的到来，人们吃元宵、赏花灯、猜灯谜，以示祝贺。

1、楚昭王
也有说相传元宵起源于春秋时期的楚昭王。
楚昭王复国归途中泛舟长江，见江面上漂着个浮物，色白微黄，船工捞起来献给楚昭王。昭王食之，内中有红如胭脂的瓤，味道鲜美。昭王于是令人以山楂为馅仿制供臣民食用，以庆祝家国团圆。这一天，正好是正月十五，后世相沿成习。
2、东方朔
相传汉武帝有个宠臣名叫东方朔，他善良又风趣。有一天冬天，下了几天大雪，东方朔就到御花园去给武帝折梅花。刚进园门，就发现有个宫女泪流满面准备投井。东方朔慌忙上前搭救，并问明她要自杀的原因。
原来，这个宫女名叫元宵，家里还有双亲及一个妹妹。自从她进宫以后，就再也无缘和家人见面。每年到了腊尽春来的时节，就比平常更加的思念家人。觉得不能在双亲跟前尽孝，不如一死了之。东方朔听了她的遭遇，深感同情，就向她保证，一定设法让她和家人团聚。
一天，东方朔出宫在长安街上摆了一个占卜摊。不少人都争着向他占卜求卦。不料，每个人所占所求，都是“正月十六火焚身”的签语。一时之间，长安里起了非常大恐慌。人们纷纷求问解灾的办法。
东方朔就说：“正月十三日傍晚，火神君会派一位赤衣神女下凡查访，她就是奉旨烧长安的使者，我把抄录的偈语给你们，可让当今天子想想办法。”说完，便扔下一张红帖，扬长而去。老百姓拿起红帖，赶紧送到皇宫去禀报皇上。
汉武帝接过来一看，只见上面写着：“长安在劫，火焚帝阙，十五天火，焰红宵夜”，他心中大惊，连忙请来了足智多谋的东方朔。东方朔假意的想了一想，就说：“听说火神君最爱吃汤圆，宫中的元宵不是经常给你做汤圆吗？十五晚上可让元宵做好汤圆。
万岁焚香上供，传令京都家家都做汤圆，一齐敬奉火神君。再传谕臣民一起在十五晚上挂灯，满城点鞭炮、放烟火，像满城大火，这样就可以瞒过玉帝了。此外，通知城外百姓，十五晚上进城观灯，杂在人群中消灾解难”。武帝听后，十分高兴，就传旨照东方朔的办法去做。
到了正月十五日长安城里张灯结彩，游人熙来攘往，热闹非常。宫女元宵的父母也带着妹妹进城观灯。当他们看到写有“元宵”字样的大宫灯时，惊喜的高喊：“元宵！元宵！”，元宵听到喊声，终于和家里的亲人团聚了。
如此热闹了一夜，长安城果然平安无事。汉武帝大喜，便下令以后每到正月十五都做汤圆供火神君，正月十五照样全城挂灯放烟火。因为元宵做的汤圆最好，人们就把汤圆叫元宵，这天叫做元宵节。
3、袁世凯
据文字记载，宋代以前没有元宵，那时人们过元宵节吃的是浇上肉汁的米粥或豆粥，到了唐代有了“正月十五日作膏粥，以祠门户”的说法，这种糕粥就是元宵的前身，经过多年的演变，到了宋代民间开始流行一种元宵节吃的新奇食品“浮圆子”，也就是汤圆，寓意天上月圆、碗里汤圆、家人团圆。及至明朝，“元宵”的称呼就比较多了。
辛亥革命后，袁世凯窃取了大总统的职位，他忌讳谐音“袁消”的“元宵”，于19元宵节前下令将元宵改为“汤圆”。
如今人们一说起元宵，大家就认为是团团圆圆之意，认为这一天吃元宵象征着对亲人思念。

Unfortunately sadder days were to come. A war with another country broke out, and the king had to lead his army against their enemy. During his absence the queen fell ill, and after lingering for some time she died, to the great grief of her children. They made up their minds to live altogether for a time in their trees, and for this purpose they had provisions enough stored up inside to last them a year. Now, I must tell you, in another country a long way off, there reigned a king who had an only son named Ring. Prince Ring had heard so much about the beauty and goodness of Princess Signy that he determined to marry her if possible. So he begged his father to let him have a ship for the voyage, set sail with a favourable wind, and after a time landed in the country where Signy lived. The prince lost no time in setting out for the royal palace, and on his way there he met such a wonderfully lovely woman that he felt he had never seen such beauty in all his life. He stopped her and at once asked who she was. 'I am Signy, the king's daughter,' was the reply. Then the prince inquired why she was wandering about all by herself, and she told him that since her mother's death she was so sad that whilst her father was away she preferred being alone.
