摘 要:高考英语书面表达一直是众多考生惧怕的一个难题,同时也是英语教学中的一个薄弱环节,许多考生的高考写作水平低,得不了高分,严重影响了英语整体成绩。分析关于高考书面写作表达中存在的问题及解决的对策有着深远意义。
关键词:书面表达;问题;对策
从高考英语试题题型来看,书面表达占的比例相当大,所以书面表达做得好与不好对考生的成绩影响特别大。根据历年高考评卷分析,相当多的考生在书面表达环节上失分严重。为了帮助考生解决这一难题,笔者从书面表达存在的问题及解决的办法两方面简要谈谈自己的看法。
一、存在的问题
1、用汉语的思维遣词造句
大多数考生在书面表达中,最常见的毛病就是“中文式英语”,平日里习惯了中文表达,在写英语文章时,也只是将句子直译出来,不能用英语思维,用英语表达意思,写作能力从根本上无法提高。如:If one side had trouble, eight sides came to help、(一方有难,八方支援。)这种句子中国人读起来较容易,也能够理解,但不符合英语表达习惯,也不规范。
2、语言使用有误,语法错误多
在高考的紧张环境下,许多考生不能灵活地运用所学知识准确地表达意思,总是会出现各种各样的错误,尤其是语法方面的错误。如,时态、语态、人称、单复数、大小写、前后逻辑关系等,使阅卷老师认为考生在基础英语方面存在的严重问题,从而失分情况在所难免。如,The professor gives us a speech the next week、这类句子在考卷中比比皆是。
3、谋篇布局与衔接能力弱
书面表达是对考生各方面能力的一个综合考查,但多数考生在阅读题目之后就直接动笔去写,根本不知在下笔之前对文章进行合理构思和巧妙布局的重要性,从而使文章句式单一贫乏,句意不够连贯,文章不符合逻辑,没有一定的语篇衔接手段等等瑕疵。
4、思想上不重视英语写作
许多学生在平时的写作训练中,不能给予写作足够的重视,只是草率地完成作业,根本不重视构思、条理等环节,往往还会出现文体与要求不符,忽略细节等问题,在书写规范上更是错误百出,字迹潦草。
二、解决的对策
1、培养学生用英语思维的能力
在平时的课文教学中,教师应对学生进行各种形式的.写作技能训练,培养学生用英语思维的能力。在课堂上,鼓励学生用英语记学习笔记,多听英文范文,运用所学的基本词汇和短语练习写一些简单的句子,但力求达到准确无误。还可以挑选一些精彩的句型、段落和语篇进行背诵,培养语感。除此之外,也可以做一些句型转换、汉译英、英译汉的专项练习,用各种方式培养用英语思维的能力。
2、掌握基本知识,避免语法错误
众所周知,构成语言的三个基本要素是:语音、词汇和语法。很多学生在语音方面存在着极大的问题,导致单词不会记,记不住,所以教师在平常的授课中,应该帮助学生复习语音知识,教会学生认识开音节、闭音节,运用字母组合发音规则来记忆单词,并且利用构词法来扩大词汇量,丰富写作中的词汇。在平时的学习中,学生应该积极主动地积累一些常用句型,用所学的短语自己构造简单的句子,力求使每一个句子都没有任何的语法错误。
3、了解高考书面表达题材,做到游刃有余
近年来,高考书面表达的题材主要集中在“议论文和应用文”上,了解写作题材,并根据题材写出正确的格式是写好文章的关键一步,然后再根据要求,先对文章进行整体的构思,在时间允许的情况下罗列提纲,打草稿并修改,修改的同时一定要注意文章的连贯性并恰当地使用连接词,最后定稿完成写作。
4、充分认识书面表达的重要性
写作属于语言输出形式,所以必须从思想上重视语言,在积累了一定的思想感受和大量的语言素材后,写作能力才有可能提高,文章才有可能写好,而且写出来的文章,只有书写规范、正确美观、卷面整洁才能给整篇文章锦上添花。
总之,要想写好书面表达,考试中得高分,平时的积累与训练至关重要,考生必须首先从思想上充分认识到书面表达的重要性,并在平时的日常训练中有步骤、有计划地进行系统的训练。

一、写作时要考虑的几个方面
1.认真审题,理解题意。首先要看准文章的写作体裁,其次才能定时态、定人称、定格式(因为不同的文体的格式不同),然后再考虑语言、语气的运用。
一般的记叙文、说明文、议论文等多用书面语;而应用文,如书信、口头通知、便条等多用口头语。记叙文、日记等一般可用过去时,而说明文、通知等一般要用一般现在时或将来时。如果是看图写文,看懂每幅图之间的联系至关重要。根据每幅图写出一至两句话。因为每年高考书面表达一般控制在10句话、120个词左右。
2.连句成文。每句话写好后,用适当的连词连接起来,使之上下连贯、呼应、通顺、简洁,即可形成文章。
3.查错漏。完稿后,检查一下有没有时态、语态、拼写错误并逐一加以改正。
4.书写规范,卷面干净。任何一种形式的书面文字材料,都要求书写规范,拼写准确无误,字迹清晰,按书写规则、大小写和移行要保持正确,切记不要有“铁丝网”、“地雷”、“篱笆”之类的东西,卷面一定要讲究干净。
不同的书面表达形式有不同的格式,如书信、日记、通知等各有其特殊形式,都要按要求书写规范。书写时除了注意移行规则外,还应注意字母写得圆滑饱满,有15%左右的倾斜度,每行写10个单词左右,词与词的距离要小、行与行的距离稍大些,写10行左右,这样的字段既符合要求,也显得短小精悍。同时,还要注意文章的开头和结尾写好,要用最流行、最回味的语言和语句去写,这样更会得到评卷老师的好感。只有这样考生才会得到满意而有理想的高分。

3.语篇的连贯性。
文章的连贯性和紧凑感是很重要的。句子作为最小的表达意思的语言单位,如果只是被随意地整合,是无法达到有效表达的目的。有效地使用语句间的连接成分,使全文结构紧凑,可以使用连接词、分词短语、复合句等。要注意句子与句子之间的有机联系、段落与段落之间的自然过渡,使文章层次清楚、文理通顺,结构严密紧凑、衔接自然。
4.语言的逻辑性。

1 用顺
审准题义,明确情景,看清要求。不少考生写作时,还有不看要求或不看完看全要求就解题的习惯,特别是不注意生词或短语提示,或干脆完全根据所给材料先后顺序逐一翻译。前后不连贯,层次不清晰,逻辑性不强。因此应认真思考材料,找到所要表达的`主旨文意及线索,在线索引导下通畅地表达内容,增加可读性。为此,应注意使用and, so, then, at the same time, on the one hand, on the other hand, first, second,at last, what''s more, I''m afraid, I think等表示过度及连接的词汇,使之有较强的感情色彩。

对每一个句子都尽可能避免语法错误。通常错处出在:

(1)多用。

书面表达可能出现多种时态,但特定时间背景下时态相同。如人事物现状的介绍,应以一般现在时为主;过去的介绍,应以一般过去时为主;日记应以一般过去时为主;通知应以一般现在时为主。千万不要随心所欲,不假思索地使用,造成大面积失分。
(4)语态错误。由于汉语被动色彩不浓,因此英语表达易受影响,该用而不用,不该用而用be动词。如:

用准确地道的语言,不能生涩难懂,不合英语表达习惯。常见现象如下:
3.1单词堆砌
写句子,用语不准,而根据汉语句序进行相应的英语单词堆砌而成。如:

语言转换功在平时。简明扼要,表达清楚,是关键所在。冰冻三尺,非一日之寒。

初学写作要简单完整清楚地表达,就要把握两个关系:
4.1完整不一定就句式复杂
一味追求新、奇、特、难,容易出错。如:

4.2简单也不一定就用省略句
在不可省的地方省略,结构就不完整,句意就不明确。如:
1)He studies very hard and kind. (错)→He studies very hard and he is very kind. (正)
2)He doesn''t know what and how to do. (错)→He doesn''t know what to do and how to do it. (正)
另外,考试是根据内容和表达给分的,要点齐全,是直接因素。必须注意要点来源:
标题。有些需要标题,却粗心漏掉不写,造成失分。书写标题应力求简洁明了,有较强概括力和针对性,并注意单词字母大小写。
格式。不少应用文需要正确的格式,如通知的开头,常常要交待通知的对象;日记开头,常常交待时间和天气;信件的左上角必须注明写信人的地址和时间,下一行要顶格写上称呼,正文结束后,要有结束语,并签名。
正文。这是全文要点集中之处,应认真思考材料含义,理清大意,将所有要点逐一落实,并检查有无遗漏。
常识性。原材料不一定反应,但仍然重要,既属内容,又承上启下,增强文章可读性。如写通知结尾可用“Don’t forget the time and address.”,“I’m sure you’ll have a pleasant time/a lot of fun.”或“That’s all, thank you.”;写参观欢迎词开头可用“You’re welcome to visit our city.”,“Now, let me tell you something about our school.”或“Let me introduce something about our school to you.”,结尾可用“Now, I’d like to introduce something about our school/LI Ping to you.”,介绍结束也可用“That’s all, thank you.”;写信结尾可用“Please give my best regards/love /wishes to your parents.”或“Remember me to your parents!”,“I hope to hear from you soon.”或“Waiting for your early reply.”
必须注意原则:不多不少。该有的不少,不该有的不写。

浅谈高考书面表达
摘要:“书面表达” 要求考生有丰富的语言语法知识,而且有较强的语言表达能力和逻辑思维能力。它也是一种融形式、文体、交际三位于一体的试题,所考查内容都体现在表达和传递信息的交流能力。

今两年,随着高考阅卷方式的变化和高考英语作文题型的变化,学生高考作文的估分与实际得分出入较大,在平时考试中笔者发现很多学生对英语写作存在畏惧心理,在最后的十几分钟里草草地将作文写好,显然像这样的作文是得不到高分的。书面表达是要求考生在一定情景下完成的100-120个词左右的短文。它不但要求考生有丰富的语言语法知识,而且有较强的语言表达能力和逻辑思维能力。它也是一种融形式、文体、交际三位于一体的试题,所考查内容都体现在表达和传递信息的交流能力。那么,在平时的教学过程中该如何提高学生的作文应试能力呢?
一,分析考生失分的主要原因
从考生的英语书面表达来看,大多数考生的失分原因有以下几点:
1.语言表达有错误,常见错误主要有以下几种形式。
1)低级错误
是指那些最基本的错误,譬如拼写(大小写)错误;冠词错误;名词单数和复数的错误;主宾格的错误;介词的误用;形容词和副词的误用;时态的错误;主谓一致等等。以上错误在写作中最常见。
2)句子结构错误
这种错误常见的有句子结构不完整(如漏掉be动词);在表达时试图用比较复杂的结构,但往往又事与愿违,丢三落四;2个句子之间缺乏连词或多用连词;写出断句(sentence fragment)等等。
3)中文式英语(Chinglish)
由于受母语的影响,不少学生在写作时往往习惯于用中文构思或把中文直接翻译成英文,造成用词不当或句子成分的缺失,结果经常出现不地道的汉式英语。2.要点不全。由于考生考试时审题不够认真,没有完全理解题意,或者虽然审题时理解了题意却没有列成提纲就直接下笔写,因为遗漏了部分要点。所以要提醒考生在答题前认真审题,列出提纲后再答题。
3.离题句太多。一篇书面表达词数要求在100-120个词范围之内,大约10句话左右,考生不可以盲目发挥,如果离题句过多,就会冲散主题,影响得分。
4.书写是否工整清晰也会影响考生得分。一篇字迹优美书写工整的作文和一篇字迹模糊反复读了几遍仍有些句子识别不清的文章,两者相比前者得分要远远高于后者。因此,考生平时练习就要注意字体工整、清晰。
二,如何提高书面表达分数的几点建议。
1.运用表示列、递进、转折等关系的过渡词(transitional words)。例如:
1)表示递进 what’s more, what’s better , besides, even, moreover, furthermore ;in addition ,etc.
2)表示并列或选择and,or,as well,as well as,both---and,either---or,neither---nor,some---others otherwise etc.
3)表示转折 but,however,on the contrary,instead,yet; in spite of ; etc.
4)表示因果so,therefore, as a result,because of,due to,owing to,thanks to etc.
5)表示列举 for example,for instance,that is ; namely ; such as,and so on etc.
6)表示总结after all ,in a word,in short,in all,in general ; generally speaking
7)表示对比 while,on one hand,on the other hand etc.
2.在书面表达中运用一些高级词汇和复杂结构,解析新的高考评分细则,我们不难看出,运用高级词汇、复杂句式和适当的过渡连接词语是书面表达得高分的重要手段.这里我们所说的一般表达和高级表达指的是词汇和句式两个方面。例如:
1)学会使用从句
① 使用定语从句
The girl is spoken highly of. Her composition was well written. (一般)
The girl whose composition was well written is spoken highly of.(高级)
② 使用状语从句
I won’t believe what he says. (一般)
No matter what he says, I won’t believe. (高级)
2)合理使用复杂的句型
① When he spoke, he felt more and more excited. (一般)
The more he spoke, the more excited he felt. (高级)
② Who will be on duty today? (一般)
Whose turn is it to be on duty today? (高级)
③ She can’t correctly pronounce the word. (一般)

3) 适度使用高级词汇

3.避生就熟,进行“曲线”表达
巧用思维拐弯法。当表达某一意思有困难时,巧用常用词语或自己熟悉的词语来进行表达,可达到同样效果,又可避免出错。在表达过程中,应选用自己熟悉的和有把握的词汇及句型,千万不能自己去创造或生搬硬套汉语式的句子。如果遇到确实难以回避的内容,一时又想不起确切的表达法,那就要“拐弯抹角”地去表达,尽量找同义或近义的词语或句型来代替,英语有句谚语:“All roads lead to Rome.”这样既可节约时 间又可避免犯大的错误。
例如:“游客纷至沓来”
1)A large number of visitors come here.
2)There are lots of visitors coming here every day.
3)Many people visit here every day.
4.书写规范,字迹清楚,这是最基本的要求。任何一种形式的书面文字材料,都要求书写规范、拼写正确无误、字迹清晰、大小写、标点符号及移行都要正确。其实,做到这点并不难,只要做练习时认真、细心就行。
三、结束语
近几年来高考书面表达正在一步步地向考试要考语言运用能力这一方向改进,并采用了新的评分标准,因此要求考生语言的准确性和得体性,注重上、下文连贯,注重表达方式多样化。新的评分标准提倡考生使用高级词汇和复杂句式,运用过渡性词汇增强文章连贯性。如果考生在表达中只是运用了简单句,虽然表达了要求的信息,那么得分也不会高。因此,近几年高考要求考生掌握词汇要丰富,句式表达要复杂,适当地使用情感性语言。

高考英语书面表达突破技巧
书面表达在评阅时遵循语言第一位(语言高级),内容第二位(要点齐全),结构第三位(文章分段)的原则,也就是说阅卷老师最注重的是语言,换句话说是亮点,根据语言使用情况,亮点的多少而定出档次,所以同学们在书面表达中语言上的亮点是得高分的关键。
亮点一共有四种:
一、高级词汇和语法;
二、修辞手法;
三、有效的连词;
四、名人名言或谚语。
首先简单介绍亮点当中至关重要的高级语法,以及修辞手法当中的一些技巧的使用。
肯定不如否定好
修辞的使用在书面表达中算作很大的亮点,在高中阶段很少有学生会注重修辞的应用。双重否定也是种修辞,而且对于考生来说,只要稍加注意,可以在文章中设计双重否定的句子。例如想表达“邮递员天天准时到”,如果写成The postman comes on time every day,就不如变成双重否定,The postman never fails to come on time,就变成了亮点句,起到强调作用。几乎每个人对生活的态度都不同程度受到地震的`影响,写成双重否定There was hardly a man or a woman whose attitude
towards life had not affected by the earthquake.应用类似的修辞会在高考中为同学们加分。
陈述不如倒装妙
在书面表达中阅卷老师喜欢看到的高级语法共有五种:倒装,强调,从句,独立主格和分词结构,以及虚拟语气。倒装是一种最简单易行的使句子呈现亮点的方法。在高中阶段只需掌握倒装的四种形式,足以应对书面表达,如何应用倒装,有很多方法和技巧。
否定词开头
如果写出的句子中有否定词, 例如I will never marry you. 不如变成倒装,用否定词开头Never will I marry you. 就算作使用了高级语法。其他的否定词,如not, seldom, hardly等开头后面的句子倒装都是比较好的句子。
地点状语开头
在很多年的高考书面表达中都有表达地点的句子,一个建筑位于什么位置,或什么地方有什么东西,都可以应用倒装。例如在的全国卷中,图书馆位于学校的中央,Our library is in the center of our school.变成倒装就用地点状语开头:In the center of our school lies our library. 其他的例子,想表达河岸上有很多花:On the bank stand some flowers. 天空中繁星点点:In the sky hang little stars. 总之在想表达地点时就把地点状语放在句首后面主谓倒装。
这样做的好处之一是倒装本身就是高级结构,第二是倒装后把真正的主语放到了句子的末尾,后面还可以继续加从句,使整个句子再呈现更多的亮点。例如In the center of our school lies our library,which is between the garden and the teaching building.
Only+介词短语
例如在全国卷中,让外教帮你找个笔友,有一句可以表达成只有通过这种方式我才能提高英语,这句话可以写成Only in this way can I improve my English.其他的例子还有Only by taking exercises can we keep healthy.
形容词+as+主语+be动词
例如Young as I am, I can manage it; Rich as our country is, we have a lot of problems. 书面表达中:Badly injured as he was, he managed to take down the
car’s number. 还有其他的倒装结构,很高兴收到的你的来信:So glad am I to hear from you.在高考中要尽量使用一两个倒装。
主动不如被动巧
在近些年的阅卷中,发现考生在写作中很少使用被动语态,也许是受中文思维的影响,几乎整篇文章都使用主动语态。其实在英文中,被动语态的使用是很重要的。因为英语是一门客观的语言,而汉语是主观的语言,具体体现在英语中经常用被动语态,汉语经常用主动语态;英语中经常用物称或形式主语开头,强调一件事发生在什么人身上,而汉语经常用人称开头强调一个人发生了什么事。所以使用被动语态符合英语的习惯,如果能将整个文章中两个句子变成被动语态,就会呈现句型的变化,使整个文章句型丰富。
例如在20的高考中,很多学生在表达我们每次可以借五本书最多借十天时,都是用:We can borrow five books at most, and we can keep them for ten days.这句话如果写成:At most five books can be borrowed at a time and they can be kept for ten days,分数会更高。
分词结构不能少
在前文提到,在书面表达中老师喜欢看到的高级语法共有五种:倒装,强调,从句,独立主格和分词结构,以及虚拟语气。在所有的高级语法中,阅卷老师最喜欢看到的是独立主格和分词结构,其次是剩下的几项。但很多学生不知道如何在文章中使用这个最大的亮点。其实几乎所有的状语从句都可以变成独立主格或分词结构,时间状语从句,原因状语,条件状语等。例如条件状语从句:If such is the case, you should apologize to her. 如何变成独立主格或分词结构呢?学会下面的口诀,如果你的作文中有状语从句,马上可改成独立主格或分词结构这个最大的亮点。
口诀:一去,二看,三改。一去:去连词;二看:看主语;三改:改分词。
If such is the case, you should apologize to her.按照这个口诀来改,第一步,去掉连词if;第二步,看前后两句话的主语,前后主语不一致,所以要改成独立主格;第三步,改分词,is 变成分词是being,所以最后变成Such being the case, you should apologize to her.就变成了独立主格。
如果前后两句话主语一致,就变成分词结构,例如高考书面表达中的一句话Because I am a student, I’d like to know the price for students. 改成Being a student, I’d like to know the price for students.其他想表达状语从句的时候几乎都一样。所以想表达由于,因为,如果等都写成独立主格或分词结构会让阅卷老师多给几分。

高考英语:如何应对书面表达多元化
分省命题四年来高考英语全国卷和地方卷的书面表达试题已逐渐走向成熟和多元。全国卷书面表达形式一统天下的态势已经淡去,地方卷渐显特色。四年来,高考英语短文写作试题出现了一系列的变化。本文拟就短文写作的词数要求多级化趋势做一个探讨,并针对性地提出应对策略,以便于有效备考和轻松应试。一、文献中的词数要求与表述
20的《考试大纲》中关于写作题的词数表述为“要求考生根据所给情景,用英语写一篇100个单词左右的短文”。近年的《考试大纲》就只在题型示例中出现“词数80 -120”的字样了。而的《考试大纲》和《关于“考试大纲”的修订说明》则仍然使用的是:“要求考生根据所给情景,用英语写一篇100个单词左右的短文。”
全日制普通高级中学《英语教学大纲》(试验修订版)的“二级目标”则提出“能根据提示,在30分钟内写80―100个词的短文。”
《英语课程标准》“终结性评价”中在“写作技能与试题设计”提到:“文段长度依写作任务和测试要求可控制在50-200词左右。”本来50-200就是一个区间的提法,不知为何又在后面加上“左右”二字?这可能有两种解释。其一是上限词数可少于200,其二是上限词数可多于200。这个开放性的表述“多”“少”有些不谨严。也许别有深意?
我们感到近年来教育部考试中心年度英语《考试大纲》中短文写作试题的写作词数要求对地方卷渐渐失去了约束力。许多自主命题单位更多的是根据《英语课程标准》的要求对词数要求进行了相对灵活的诠释和运用。
二、各卷种词数要求的多级化趋势
目前,各卷种的词数要求有多级化趋势,如果不算20江苏卷的词数要求的话,分省命题以来共有八种词数级别要求。
1.150词左右(广东卷,07);
2.120-150词(上海卷,山东07);
3.120词左右(湖南卷,江苏卷);
4.词数100-120(浙江卷);
5.100词左右(全国卷等);
6.80-120词(陕西卷,天津卷)等
7.“不少于60词”(北京卷,情景作文)和 “不少于50词”(北京卷,开放作文)
8. “5个句子”(广东卷,基础写作)
三、词数要求的表述方式
词数要求目前主要有三种表述方式。
第一种是主流的“左右”,不说明词数的上下限,但惯例是+20词。目前有三个层级的.“左右”:100,120,150等。
第二种是“区间”,目前有三个词数“区间”:80-120,100-120,120-150,“区间”的表述说了为考生答题提出了明确的上下限。
第三种是“不少于”,只有下限而没有上限,这种要求似乎更高。
另类一点表述是2008江苏的《补充说明》:词数150。与广东卷要求的词数相比有过之而无不及,连“左右”都没有了。
最奇特的表述当推广东卷:“只能使用5个句子表达全部内容”。这是我国高考英语首例不使用词数而使用句数要求的命题单位。
总的来看,分省命题以来,各卷种的词数要求基本上还是在《英语课程标准》要求的区间内做“伸展运动”,尚无真正意义上的突破。
四、应试时的“最宜”词数
在实际的阅卷中,为了便于老师们把握,各阅卷组往往还是执行一个为大家所共同接受的词数限制。按以前的惯例,大家对于低于或高于某一个词数要求的作文一般都有一个扣分的做法,以示薄惩。后来,随着人们认识问题的深化,大家渐渐感到对低于写作词数要求的作文固然应该扣分,但对于高于写作词数要求的作文就不应该扣分,因为写的多说明能写,说明实际英语水平高。
笔者原则认同这个观点,觉得这确是一个比较人性化的、以考生为本的举措。但是笔者同时也坚决反对很多老师据此鼓励考生在考试中大胆多写。愚以为这个想法和做法是愚蠢的,也是危险的。理由有三:
1. 高考是限时性考试,时间对于考生而言永远是有限的,与其在短文写作上花上不必要的精力和时间(多写不可能多分)多写,不如将时间花在研究那些多错易错的完形填空和阅读理解上去,若考生“考”有余力,也可以多揣摩新题型,这可是一个高失分题区。
2. 高考是选拔性考试,是以选拔人才为目的的,但俗话说:“言多必失”。此为至理名言,各位一定要掂量掂量。大不可逞一时之快而因小失大。
3. 高考英语是规范性考试,其所作的词数要求是根据学科标准、测试学标准以及当地教学实际而做出的,是统一于《英语课程标准》的基本要求。考生不应该、不必要、也不宜随意“出超”,否则,得不偿失。
笔者认为考生在实际的应试中,“最宜”写作词数应该是控制在试题要求的区间之内,或者在某个限定词数的正负20词左右。既不伤阅卷教师的“眼”,也不伤阅卷教师的“神”。恰到好处,收缩思想,集中表述即可。
篇26:高考英语书面表达应试策略
一.审题必不可少。
高考时间紧,有些学生急于答题,却很容易忙中出错。例如,高考江苏英语书面表达题中,第一段已给出,学生只需要接着写,但有的学生没有看题,更别说审题了,把第一段又抄了一遍,以至于写第二段的空间不够了;有的学生也没看第一段最后一句:what should the volunteers do and what should they not do?这一句话承上启下,说明第二段必须用第三人称写,但不少学生用了第一或第二人称,根据规定没用第三人称的要扣2分;有的学生字数不符合要求,少于100或多于140,在总分中被减去2分;第三段第一句的前半句已经写好:If I have the honour to be chosen as a volunteer,考生只需接着写“我该怎么做”,要用第一人称“I”,但有的学生还是用“you”贯穿第三段;还有的学生审题不仔细,只写了“应该做什么”而没写“不应该做什么”,少一个要点扣3分。
二.练好英文书法。
常言道:“字好文一半”。这种说法在高考英语书面表达中虽然有些言过其实,但书的好坏,卷面的整洁与否直接影响考生的成绩,却是不争的事实。书写不好给阅卷老师留下很坏的影响,分数会降低一个档次(5分)甚至更多。不少学生由于疏于审题,随意写来,在仔细检查后,又发现有诸多不妥之处,于是对原文修修补补,或在试卷上涂黑,回使用橡皮,回随意连线画“地图”等第,造成卷面不整洁。(在高考阅卷中,凡卷面不洁又书写较差而影响了交际的,首先定在15分及格线以下。)
三.写准第一句。
Good beginning makes good ending.良好的开端是成功的一半。第一句写得成功会给阅卷老师留下很好的印象,但如果第一句就写错了,或不知所云,那么印象分就降了一档。例如,有个学生作文第一句是这样写的:To my opinion, they should polited and friendly with visitor.窥一斑可见全豹,在第一句话就有5处错误,那么其它地方的错误必定不会少。从第一句就可以判断该生英语综合水平肯定不高,这时阅卷老师接下来要寻找的就是他的错误,而不是他的得分点。

高考书面表达主要测试考生的交际能力和语言综合应用能力。这就要求学生在平时的写作时不仅语法要正确,还要使语言表达与具体的情景、时间、地点、身份相符,达到交际的目的。书面表达在高考的试题中的地位举足轻重,且评卷主观性强、弹性大。因此,无论是分值还是实际难度,对于考生来说,都是心目中“永远的痛”。但是我根据多年教学经验坦言:“书面表达不可畏。”
一、审清题意是根本
书面表达的命题形式有很多种,学生首先要通读试题的每一个字,观察所给的每一幅图,从而明确作文的中心思想,判断作文的类型、特点,了解作文的重点内容,力求使写作切中题意,然后重读试题,在原题的汉语提纲或图表上圈出要点(即:“给分点”或称“扣分点”)。若提供的是图画,也可以在每幅图画旁用简单的词语标出它所要表达的要点。这样做,既可以提醒自己不要遗漏了要点,又能防止自己过分发挥,从而避免犯本末倒置的'错误。最后,在圈画的要点旁边批注相应的英语表达法,为将来全文的一气呵成扫清拦路虎。
二、定好作文的基调
通过分析思考,为文章的四个基本要点定调:(1)时态、语态。(2)人称、口吻。(3)顺序、段落。(4)开头、结尾。把四大基本要点定调后,考生对全文的基本架构已经成竹在胸了。为文章的四个基本要点定调看似浪费时间,实际却省了许多麻烦。这样,考生便可以下笔,一鼓作气,一气呵成。
三、高分的关键和作文的出彩在于过渡词,牢记并自如地运用过渡词是学生决胜高考的法宝
考试中主要出现的过渡有以下同类。
(1)表示增加的过渡词:also,and,too,in addition,furthermore,moreover,what’s more,besides,on top of that等。
(2)表示时间顺序的过渡词:now,then,before,after,afterwards,earlier,later,immediately,soon,next,in a few days,gradually,finally等。
(3)表示空间顺序的过渡词:near(to),far(from),()in front of,beside,beyond,below,to the right,around,on one side,outside等。
(4)表示转折的过渡词:but,still,however,on the other hand,on the contrary,in spite of,even though 等。
(5)表示比较的过渡词:in the same way,just,。just as等。
(6)表示结果和原因的过渡词:because,since,so,as a result等。
(7)表示解释说明的过渡词:for example,in fact,in this case,for,actually等。
(8)表示总结的过渡词:finally,at last,in conclusion,as I have shown,in other words,in brief,as has been stated,in a word,in the end,in general,on the whole,to sum up等。
(9)表示强调的过渡词:in fact,indeed,necessarily,without any doubt,truly,above all,most important of all等。
1.从句子入手,学生要掌握一些常用的句型使其在实践中发挥作用,就一篇文章而言,若全是简单句,无一并列句、复合句或常用句型,就难以体现学生的写作功力,得高分就不容易了。因此,考生在平时练习中要注意记住一些典型的范文,习惯用语,掌握在各种特殊场合中所使用的交际用语,学会套用已学经典句型并避免使用汉语式的英语。书面表达中的复合句多为时间状语从句和宾语从句。此外,如果学生再运用一些强调句型,定语从句、名词性从句和倒装句等复杂的句型,句式,就能体现文章的亮点,提高作文档次。
2.清楚工整的卷面定会赢得阅卷教师的好印象,书写时,要字体一致,字迹工整,规范,少用连笔。段落最好采用三段式,版面整洁爽目,忌污迹、胡乱涂抹等。这样就给阅卷教师赏悦目的感觉,从而有助于提高作文的分数。
