In addition to my academic studies, I have achieved qualifications in first aid, and I feel confident to administer first aid in unlikely situations. Over the past two years, I have helped with a youth holiday scheme connected with my Church where I had responsibility for looking after and helping children. In my spare time, I enjoy reading non-fiction books, and travelling to see many parts of the country. My Duke of Edinburgh award scheme enabled me to deal effectively with decision making within a group.
Out of College, a part-time job at a newsagent, over the past two years has given me responsibilities such as dealing with customers, stock and large amounts of money, and also being organised and punctual. At my secondary school, I helped to set up a student council, as I felt that there were student issues that needed to be dealt with. Other responsible positions I have held are both prefect, and fifth year representative at my previous school, and form representative on the student council at my present college. Work experience at an Estate Agent in Cambridge gave me good experience of working in a city and commuting, and also insight into an area of business. I hope to travel and work at an orphanage near to Jakarta, which I have maintained links with, and also to New Zealand. My career prospects are left open for now, but I do have interests in research and education.
My main priority for now is to complete my A Levels to the best of my ability and to go on to University, not just for the degree but for the entire experience it has to offer and I look forward to moving on, learning and meeting new people.

When the concentration of rare earth ions is below a certain ultimate limit, the function of the ions changes from that of facilitating cell apoptosis to that of suppressing cell apoptosis. In undertaking a large quantity of experiments, I not only applied basic operation skills with much dexterity but also acquired many new techniques such as making post-coloring observation of the morphology of cell nucleus through the confocal fluorescence microscope, and performing qualitative testing of cell apoptosis with the help of flow cytometry method (FCM).

1. 参观和考察学校
预约参观考察学校(首先进入学校的，先注册，然后通过邮件在网上预约参观学校的时间，一般学校都需要你提前预约，也可以自己接打电话预约)。收到回信按预约时间访问学校，会有招生办的老师带领参观校园然后帮助你了解相关学校信息。
2. 网上提交申请材料
确定学校后就可以在提交申请材料，学校的通常都会有完善的申请流程，按照提示和要求来就好。学校收到递交材料后如果有不完善的地方仍然会通过邮件形式与家长沟通，所以记得时常看看邮箱以及垃圾邮件箱。
3. 等待面试通知

Who will be there to help you, when your life is turned upside down and you don't know how to carry on, what to do, or whether you can pick yourself up and start again?
Some of us, if we're lucky, have family and friends to hold our hands and guide us through the darkest, most difficult days of our lives. Others are lucky enough to have one or more health professionals, who are not just good at their jobs, but have passion and compassion; who care about their patients, and whose patient's care is of the utmost importance to them.
As a mother, daughter, wife, divorcee, partner and friend I am fortunate enough to have had support when I needed it and more importantly to have been able to give support to others who have needed it. It's something which has always given me great pleasure - to be there for someone who needs me; to help, listen, advise, suggest ways of solving problems and positive action; encourage, nurture, teach and even to engage in activities with people at certain times in their lives to help motivate them.
Now that I have a second chance in life to study; to choose a vocation which I am passionate about - something rewarding, challenging, inspiring, enjoyable and most of all where I would be able to do good, help people empower themselves, change their lives - I know after months of research and talking to people that OT ticks every box.
When I was 17, I did work experience in a Foyer D'Handicapee in Epinal, France, with severely disabled teenagers and young adults. I found it immensely rewarding and enjoyable, although I later concentrated my studies on music.
Being a parent has meant that certain aspects of me have grown and developed; both in terms of bringing up my children and supporting other parents. In some ways this fuelled my interest in how the mind works, its development, and contributed to a bookshelf on the subject. It has greatly increased my patience, intuition and creativity, and I believe I have always had very good communication, people and organisational skills, as well as a (highly necessary!) great sense of humour and positive approach to life.

I enjoy listening to and playing music, creative writing, poetry, theatre and the arts - as well as being artistic myself (2 small children are a great licence to indulge all forms of art and craft!). I am a great cook; enjoy DIY; keen on growing all things edible; I am IT literate and due to work and life adept at organising bills/expenses and general paperwork. I also love the outdoors and active pursuits, such as mountain-biking, paint-balling, riding the odd elephant and more - with a high degree of enthusiasm! I've always been very sociable and made friends with people of all ages and walks of life; mainly due to my sense of humour, general affability and interest in others. Of late it has given me pleasure to help my own friends by teaching one to drive, supporting friends with children by organising outings with them, and helping a friend who was very unhappy with her weight by motivating her to go biking/walking/to the gym with me and suggesting easy diet changes.
I have friends within this sector and talking to them has only strengthened my belief that this is something I very much want to do, and would be very good at - plus they seem to think I would make a great OT too! I am a very determined person and extremely committed to doing this course. 一、关于租房渠道
1.学校

基本上每个学校都是有自己的中国学生会。同学们可以在网上或者在自己学校的上查找到学生会的信息。他们都是有自己的新生手册或者是论坛。中国学生抱团一起租房也是可以的。
3.租房网站
网上会有很多的租房网站或者是中介网站。这些网站上不单单的是有学生住的公寓，或者house。也有卖房的相关信息。所以要懂得筛选出对自己有用的相关租房信息。
二、租房需考虑因素
1.如何寻找合适的住宿类型?
来泰国留学的小伙伴们，都希望自己在泰国的宿舍能够住的舒服、安全，才能让学习更加舒心。在选择住房的时候需要考虑很多因素：价格、地理位置、房屋类型等等，每一个条件都要牢牢把关，如果选择不当，很容易被房东或房客骗，造成在金钱上的损失。
2.多听学长/学姐经验
大学网站上的服务信息和同校学生给你的建议非常值得采纳，如果师兄师姐们住过，还能给你最真实的居住体验和买家秀。如果你看房时，原房客正在居住，你也可以问一下他的居住感受，他肯定是对房间的优势和劣势最了解的人。
3.合同所有细节认真对待
这一点聂老师一定要多多唠叨。大多数合同中都表明，如果终止合同，租客需要至少提前1个月给房东通知，有些可能要2个月，或是15天，都将明确地在合同中标注，在签合同前要仔细检查后再签字，一些房屋如果状况不佳，建议入住前拍好照片，墙上的划痕、地毯的污渍、家具的破损等都要拍照做好记录，双方沟通好，否则可能造成退房时的纠纷。
请一定要详细地阅读租约(Lease)上的每一条!尤其是修改和外加的补充条款，敲黑板~租约必须一式两份，房客必须注意自己收藏一份。付房租时还应注意要一张收据，此外还须收到并保存一张押金收据。以及押金存放在RTBA的存放号码。这些都要好好保管好。
4.房屋节能会影响到账单
许多二房东在租房时会为租客交月账单，也有一些合租的人平摊每月用水用电，在计算房屋月租时，千万不要忘记将月账单纳入考量，学生无需支付市政税，日常要缴纳：天然气、电费、网费、水费，家中有电视并观看电视直播等费用。
找房时记得查看节能分数，分数越高代表越低的月账单;房屋的朝向也决定了冬天采光是否充足，从而影响室内温度;如果房屋窗户装置了双层保暖玻璃，保暖效果更好。

”All I know about leadership I learned from . . .“ What items could a person use to describe leadership qualities?
Inspired by the student council advisors at my high school.
Student council was a big part of my life in high school. I have participated in it since my frst year of high school. When I frst joined， I was quiet， na?ve， and unwilling to participate in many activities. I was scared to meet new people and afraid to apply myself. This all began to change. Half way through my frst year in student council， one of the advisors can up to me and asked why I did not participate that much. I did not have an answer for her and did not know how to respond. After this， I began to think of an answer. I became frustrated and decided to change. I started to show up at events and had a great time. I realized I loved this and wanted to start leading these activities. In my sophomore， junior， and now my senior year of high school， I asserted myself and took on a strong leadership role in student council. I did not fgure out the answer to why I was so reserved until this year with the help of this question.
When I looked up leadership in the dictionary， it said that it was the capacity to lead and the act or instance of leading. These are two very broad defnitions of leadership. Many people have different notions of what this word actually means. When I was challenged to use different items to describe what leadership actually is， I thought this was going to be a hard and obnoxious task. What could I learn from comparing leadership to a stuffed animal or a rubber chicken? But when I sat down to come up with a couple of answers， I realized that leadership could be compared to almost anything a person wants.
All I know about leadership I learned from a calculator. A calculator can add everything together to come up with the best answer. It can delet e what is unnecessary and only include what is important. It can solve any type of problem. These are all important equalities a leader has to have. A leader has to be able to add all of the ideas together to make the best possible plan. Leaders have to know how to decipher the good and the bad out of an idea. They have to be versatile and know how to deal with different types of issues.
All I know about leadership I learned from a ball. A ball is able to bounce back up after it is dropped. It is round and has no creases. A ball can be thrown back and forth to different people. All of these qualities are also leadership qualities. A leader has to be ready for every situation that is thrown at him or her. He or she has to be able to bounce back from any setbacks and never dwell on the past. Leaders have to exhibit many qualities and never be closed-minded about a situation. A leader must be able to delegate when he or she cannot get the work done. They have to trust everyone they lead to be able to ”catch the ball“ and keep a project rolling.
This activity made me realize that being a leader is so much more than just having authority and having the ability to take control of a situation. A leader has to be trusting of all the people he or she leads and， leaders must be able to combine ideas into one encompassing idea. They cannot sit in the background and watch events happen; they have to jump in and be involved. They should not delegate all their responsibilities away.
Leadership is more than what the dictionary says it is.
I learned through all of this that I have many of these qualities.
I have the ability to solve problems， lead through adversity， and be versatile. From answering this question， I realized that I could lead effectively， even if my leadership style is different from other individuals. When I joined student council in my frst year of high school， I did not have these qualities because I was never put into a situation where I had to lead. I was too reserved to try. When I tried， I learned that I could succeed in this. I did not realize until I answered this question about leadership. Studying in UK will breed a sense of individuality and self reliance.I would be able to interact with people from everywhere and get to know about their culture.This would not only open new horizons for me,but would also clear some preconceived notions one has about the other.I have always been an active participant of debates.I have participated in 3 Model UN conferences out of which I was awarded with the Best Delegate award in two. I was also one of the two students to be selected from my school to participate in the English Speaking Union '08.Moreover, I've taken part in Parliamentary style debates too.Therefore I believe I can communicate effectively in public and language will not be a barrier in my education.Furthermore, I have worked as an internee at Al-Shifa Eye Hospital for a month in summers.Here I learnt how to deal with patients,use the Auto Ref, handle files and punctuality.We also campaigned to a remote area near Murree where we helped the doctors in examining the patients free of cost.Another experience which taught me a lot was when me and my fellow colleagues volunteered to paint walls for the SOS Children's Village.In addition,I worked with SUNGI (NGO) where a group of 5 of us had to organize an event to pay tribute to 1000 Women for the Nobel Peace Prize.

I was practicing in the Chinese Hope Project during summer holidays and volunteered to investigate the issue of low educational attendance rate for female students in rural China with my tutor from my high school and that was a very good experience as it not only made me realise how traditional cultural influence could remain unchanged in some of those rural areas in China and also the way parents and children interacting. I always have wondered why for many Chinese students just like me, hundreds of them fail to choose what they really want to student and do as a career. Chinese parents are definitely having strange influences on their kids' decision making in terms of education and career or in the worst cases; the parents decided what their kids should do solely. My mother believes that I should go for Finance studies, while I clearly know that my interest has never been in the Mathematical formulas and numbers, I always find the diversities of societies, people, beliefs, cultures and the way people interacting together very fascinating. So, during this summer, my thoughts kept returning on why I worked so unsuccessfully towards studying finance and economics as my mother expected? And how can I truly become my own master by progressing a BA that I really like to engage more research and enrich myself with? How did all the cultural and beliefs affecting the way we acting the roles in the community? In which way an individual could actually build up and refine his/her identities?
In pursuing a Sociology degree, I seek answers to these questions. A thorough examination of the Sociology behind human behaves could reveal the beliefs, values and identities; it enables us to exam and understand ourselves better. While knowledge of Sociology will certainly benefit the social services providing, I also maintain a passion for Culture Studies for that same reason. Cultural behaviour study appeals to me because it tells us why we act in a certain way - under a cultural atmosphere.
