多元智力理论是由美国教育学家加德纳于20世纪90年代首先提出的。他认为，人的智力由七种紧密相关但又相互独立的智力组成，它们是言语一语言智力、音乐一节奏智力、逻辑一数理智力、视觉一空间智力、身体一动觉智力、自知一自省智力、交往一交流智力。各种智力只有领域的不同，没有优劣之分、好坏之差，而且每种智力在每个人身上的表现程度和形式都是不一样的。因此，从学生评价的角度来看，多元智力理论必然要求评价标准多元化，充分发挥学生评价的功能，促进学生全面发展；要求评价内容多样化，注重学生综合素质的发展，关注学生之间的差异性和发展的不同需求，促进学生在原有水平上提高和发展；要求评价主体多元化，不仅教师是评价主体，而且学生也要以主体身份参与评价过程，认识自我，不断提高自我教育能力。
2．建构主义思想
建构主义是关于人“如何理解”和“如何知道”的哲学观和认识论。其渊源至少可以追溯到三百年前的意大利哲学家维科，他强调知识和行动的密切关系，认为“真实的东西就是被建构出来的东西”。其后，瑞士心理学家皮亚杰把建构主义思想和人的学习活动联系起来。他认为“知识既不是客观的东西，也不是主观的东西，而是个体与环境交互作用的结果”因此，建构主义思想强调，教学决不是教师向学生灌输知识、技能的过程，而是学生通过驱动自己学习的动力机制积极主动地构建知识的过程。基于这种思想的学生评价是“立足过程，促进发展”的评价，其重点在于评价知识获得的过程并兼顾知识获得的结果；其评价内容从重视知识学习转向重视实践能力、创新能力的培养；其评价标准从强调共性转向注重个体差异和个性发展；其评价主体由教师转向学生、教师、家长和社会等多主体。
3．人本主义思想
从20世纪80年代开始，哲学界就开始对人的主体性进行深入的探讨。随后在教育理论界掀起了一股重视人、研究人的热潮，并提出了在教育教学中发展学生主体性的问题。通过对主体性的讨论，人们基本上达成了共识，即发展学生的主体性是社会发展的需要，也是教育教学改革的必然。在这种人本主义哲学和社会思湖的影响下，学生评价出现了一系列新的评价模式，如斯塔克的应答评价模式，艾斯纳的教育鉴赏、教育批评模式，林肯的自然主义评价模式，等等。它们的共同特点就是在评价中不追求客观性，并试图摒弃评价中的数量特征，而且从人的角度出发，充分重视人的发展。在这些学生评价模式的指导下，人们开发了许多质性评价方法，如学生的表现评定法、档案袋方法、苏格拉底评定法等。这些方法相对于传统的偏重客观测量的学生评价来说，弱化了评价的甄别功能，强化了发展性功能，使评价向着有利于学生发展的方向迈了一大步。
二、发展性学生评价的本质特征
以上通过对哲学、心理学、教育学等多个理论的探寻，从不同角度概括出评价理念应遵循发展性、过程性、多元化、全面性、人本性等原则，很好地支持与诠释了发展性学生评价理论。发展性学生评价不是对传统评价的彻底否定，而是对传统评价的继承和发展。笔者认为，发展性学生评价的本质体现在如下几个方面。
篇12：浅谈发展性学生评价
传统的学生评价只关注学生的学业成绩，只测量学生知识掌握的情况，而发展性评价关注学生的知识与技能、过程与方法、情感态度与价值观三维立体目标。因此，发展性学生评价是多元评价。第一，从评价主体来说，发展性评价的评价者不仅是教师，还有学生本人、同伴、学校管理者及其家长等。这种多元评价主体可以为学生的成长与发展提供多角度、多层面的评价信息，而且多元评价主体要与被评价者之间形成双向互动或多向互动、建立对话机制、对评价目标和标准进行必要的沟通和协调，在对话中消除分歧，最终形成一个有效而可靠的评价。第二，从评价内容来说，发展性评价在关注学生的学业成就的同时，还关注学生情感态度与价值观的变化，即在考查学生知识获得与智能增进情况的同时，还对学生的创新意识、实践能力、分析与解决问题的能力、合作精神与协调能力等方面进行评价。第三，发展性评价根据评价内容不同采取不同的评价方法。如对思维和创造力的评价可采用论文式测验、问题情境测验、等级评定法等；对行为、态度、兴趣、道德等方面的评价则采用观察法、面谈法和问卷法等。发展性学生评价的多元性，一方面保障了评价内容的全面性，另一方面又保障了评价的信度和效度。
2．发展性学生评价注重评价的过程性
发展性学生评价强调关注个体，以人为本。人的生命不仅是自然成熟的过程，也是逐渐社会化和个体化的过程。因此，发展性学生评价极为重视学生的学习和成长过程，即重视过程性评价。过程性评价是一种在课程实施的过程中对学生的学习和成长进行评价的方式，它不是对微观意义上的学习过程的评价，也不是只注重过程而不注重结果的评价，而是对学习的动机、过程和效果进行三位一体的评价。过程性评价坚持目标（结果）与过程并重的价值取向，对学习的动机、效果、过程以及与学习密切相关的非智力因素进行全面的评价。过程性评价主张采用内外结合的、开放的评价方法，主张评价主体与客体的互动和整合。过程性评价的主要作用是对学生的学习质量做出判断，肯定成绩，找出问题；促进学生对学习过程进行积极的反思，从而更好地把握学习方式和方法；促使学生将评价与学习过程相整合，帮助学生更好更快地发展。
3．发展性学生评价的目标是促进学生自主发展
新课程改革使学生在教育教学中的主体作用被进一步强化。学生在学习过程中不仅要学会学习，还要学会评价。发展性学生评价以培养学生的自我评价能力为基本原则，以激发学生的自我约束、自我规划和自主发展能力为最终目标。由发展性学生评价推动的学生自主发展可体现在如下几个方面：第一，在评价方案的制订阶段，发展性学生评价主张评价主体与客体的整合，强调学生的参与，强调师生间共同的民主协商和交往，使评价不仅反映学生的共性，更能反映学生的个性和特长。第二，在评价实施阶段，发展性学生评价注重学生的`主体作用，提倡学生之间的相互评价和学生自己对自己的评价。学生将评价作为学习的一部分，作为自己生命活动的一部分，成为促进自己终身学习和终身发展的重要手段。第三，在评价结果呈现方面，充分尊重学生的意愿，让学生以自己的方式记录成长和收获，以自己的方式进行自我激励和自我反思。
三、实施发展性学生评价需要注意的问题
发展性学生评价是针对过去的评价过分注重静态的、可量化的、浅层次的学习结果和忽视动态的、难以量化的、高层次的学习过程和效果而提出的，对促进教师的教学方式和学生的学习方式的转变，保证新课程的有效实施具有非常重要的意义。在某种意义上，新课程改革能否成功，关键就在于评价的改革能否成功。因此，在推广和应用发展性学生评价的实践中应该注意避免以下几个问题。
第一，在方法上不能将发展性学生评价与传统量化评价对立起来，认为非此即彼。应该说，两种评价从不同的角度来衡量学生的学习，各有各的优势和用途，既不会相互排斥，也不能互相取代。量化评价在提高评价的精准性、客观性方面有着不可替代的优势，而发展性学生评价对于评价中难以量化的方面意义更大。对于不同的评价内容和评价目的，它们发挥的作用各不相同。
第二，有人认为发展性学生评价的实施意味着每一次评价活动都要使用所有的方法、调动所有的主体。这是一种误解。因为评价活动对于评价者是有一定要求的，评价者对评价目的的理解、对评价标准的把握、对评价方法的熟悉程度等，都会影响到评价的信度和效度，所以在评价过程中如果使用多主体，而各主体对评价目的与标准又缺乏必要的沟通协调，就会使评价的效度失去保障。而且每一种评价方法都有其适用范围，在不考虑评价内容和评价目的的前提下，盲目使用多种评价方法，只能适得其反。
第三，过分夸大发展性学生评价的功能。现在有一些教师认为，不管什么情况都可用发展性学生评价，似乎只要采用了发展性评价方法，在评价方面存在的一切问题，包括应试教育的问题都迎刃而解了。这样的结果只会把教学和评价引入歧途。评价是一种建设性工具，而不仅是反映学生发展程度的标尺。评价必须与日常的教学活动融合，在活动中进行，并与活动紧密联系，活动过程伴随并产生各种评价。
篇13：发展性学生评价
记得上课时，老师课件上出现过这样一个案例：，教育进展国际评估组织对全球21个国家进行的调查显示，中国孩子的计算能力排名世界第一，想象力却排名倒数第一，创造力排名倒数第五。看到这，不禁让人心寒，中国的教育模式培养的到底是怎样的学生?, 所谓有什么样的评价就有什么样的教育，因此，传统的学生评价受到了更普遍的质疑和批判。
发展性评价是指依据一定的教育目标和教育价值观,评价者与学生建立相互信任的关系,共同制定双方认可的发展目标,运用适当的评价技术和方法,对学生的发展进行价值判断,使学生不断认识自我、发展自我、完善自我,不断实现预定发展目标的过程。发展性学生评价的主要特征表现为:第一，一切为了学生的发展。评价的根本目的不是为了给学生贴上等级的标签，而是为了促进学生全面发展和提高。第二，评价注重过程。评价考虑评价对象的过去，重视评价对象的现在，更着眼于评价对象的未来，立足于学生发展过程的需要，不断收集学生发展过程中的信息，判断学生的优势和不足，在此基础上提出具体的、针对性的改进建议。第三，尊重个体差异。评价目标、标准是动态的，具有层次性、差异性。尊重学生的起点和个体发展的独特性，正确判断每个学生的不同特点和发展潜力，帮助学生确定个性化的发展目标。第四，评价内容丰富、全面。评价内容不仅关注学生学业成绩，且注重综合素质的考察。第五，评价主体多元，鼓励学生主体参与。尊重和重视学生在评价中的主体作用，鼓励学生积极参与评价。既重视自我评价的作用，又关注他人评价的导向功能，使评价过程成为促进学生反思、加强评价与教学相结合的过程。第六，评价方法多样。不仅综合运用各种评价方法，另外还综合运用笔试、口试、作业、课堂提问、成长记录袋等多种方法收集评价信息。
我国现行的中小学评价与考试制度由于过分强调甄别与选拔，不利于学生全面发展。主要表现为:将考试成绩作为衡量学校、教师和学生的唯一标准，评价体系不科学;过于注重纸笔测验，评价方式单一;偏重智育，忽视体育和美育，德育实效性差;更多关注书本知识，不重视创新精神和实践能力的培养;不尊重学生的情感、自尊和个性差异，影响学生学习的积极性和主动性。
学生评价改革的核心应突出发展性功能学生评价.改革的根本目的是为了更好地促进学生的发展,改变传统学生评价过分强调甄别与选拔功能,因此,突出评价的发展性功能是学生评价改革的核心。我国的新课改,也对学生评价提出了一系列要求,其中也提出提出，以发展性评价观为指导，建立促进学生发展、促进教师提高和教育教学质量改进的发展性评价制度。
要回归教育评价的本体功能，就必须把“评价”看作是教学本身的一部分。过去的教育评价之所以功能窄化、异化，根本原因在于：评价与教学相分离，评价游离于教学过程之外;换言之，我们不是为了促进教学而评价，而是为了给学生分等、分级而评价。要使教育评价回归其本色功能，就必须注重对学生发展性评价。发展性教育评价的基本理念是：评价的主要意图不在于证明，而在于改进。评价不仅关注被评对象现在状况如何，更关注未来如何使其更好发展;通过评价使教育对可持续发展做出更大贡献以及促进教育自身的可持续发展。注重评价的导向功能发挥，重点关注对学生未来发展起核心和关键作用的因素的评价;教育评价要最大限度地帮助被评对象做得更好。
建立促进学生发展的评价制度，首先必须树立发展性学生评价观： “学生评价的根本目的是为了促进学生的发展”。发展性评价是学生评价的理性选择评价是一种价值判断的活动,学生评价起到对这生发展的引导、激励作用。传统学生评价过分注重评价的甄别与选拔功能,使我们的学生一入学就陷入层层选拔之中,在人生的初期就饱尝失败与落后的滋味,给学生带来了沉重的精神负担和心理压力,事实上,我们的每一个学生都渴望得到尊重与欣赏。发展性学生评价从根本上舍弃传统学生评价的理念,强调评价是“促进发展”的功能,评价的方法、技术、内容、过程等都要为学生的发展服务,不但要通过评价促进学生在原有基础上的提高,达到培养目标的要求,更要发展学生的潜能,发挥学生的特长,促进学生身心的全面和谐发展。把评价的着眼点放在学生表现出来的值得发展的优秀品质和素养上,加以积极的鼓励和引导,使学生充分体验被尊重和赞赏的乐趣,释放生命的激情。
即使是被传统学生评价认定为是群体中的落后学生,问题学生也要以发展的眼光、宽容的态度去关注他,发现他的闪光点,承认个体间的差异,了解学生的需求,帮助其认识自我,建立自信,从多向、多维、多方面去评价学生。大家普遍认同“多一把评价的尺子,就会多出一批好这生。”美国哈佛大学心理学教授霍华德•加德纳提出的多元智力理论认为,人的智能是多方面的,个体的发展也是多元性的,某一方面的发展有阻碍,并不意味着其他方面也没有发展前途。充分挖掘每一个孩子身上蕴藏的潜能,是发展性学生评价的价值取向,也是当前我国教育实践领域学生评价的理性选择,以评价促发展,以个体的发展带动全体的发展,最后促进教育事业的蓬勃发展。
我们都知道，一个很完美的计划，也只有在实施好了的情况下才能成为真正实现它的价值。同样的,实施发展性学生评价的策略和方法学生评价是一个复杂的、多变量、多因素的系统过程,包含一系列环节,,因此，在实施发展性评价中要注意：一是要充分尊重和信任学生。发展性学生评价要以学生发展为本,评价者要始终明白,发展性学生评价的首要目的是促进学生发展而非对学生进行甄别。评价要注重沟通，尊重差异，为评价对象提供个性化的帮助，促进个性发展。二是
信息收集要全面。要对学生做出中肯、客观的评价,就必须全面了解学生的优点和缺点,反映学生学习和发展的全部信息。三是信息反馈要及时。及时的信息反馈有助于学生及时了解自身的情况,更能促进学生的发展。
另外，还要，博采众长,多种评价方式并用。人是复杂多面的,人的发展也是多向、多维的,发展性学生评价顺应时代发展,代表了学生评价未来改革发展的方向,它没有固定的模式,一切有利于促进学生发展的评价方式都有其存在的价值,在具体实施学生评价时,应博采众长,多种评价方式并用。
篇14：发展性学生评价
学生评价是对学生学习进展与行为变化的评价。它包括对学生在知识与技能、过程与方法以及情感、态度、价值观等方面发展状况的评价。其中对学生在掌握知识技能方面发展情况的评价是我们历来非常关注的问题，而其它方面的评价当前正越来越受到人们的关注。新课程改革倡导建立促进学生发展的课程评价体系，体现了新课程改革“为了每位学生的发展”的基本精神。
《基础教育课程改革纲要(试行)》中说：建立促进学生全面发展的评价体系。评价不仅要关注学生的学业成绩，而且要发现和发展学生多方面的潜能，了解学生发展中的需求，帮助学生认识自我，建立自信。发挥评价的教育功能，促进学生在原有水平上的发展。
在实施新课程教学改革过程中，对于学生的学习评价是摆在我们面前亟待研究和解决的一个现实问题。传统的标准化测验是建立在发现学生弱点基础上，通过标准化测验发现学生弱点，根据学生弱点施教。评价制度改革的基点之一是变发现学生弱点为发现学生潜力，承认学生学习兴趣和能力的差异，承认学生认知方式的差异，建立纵向过程评价的新机制。新课程着眼于学生的发展，着眼于学生知识与技能、过程与方法、情感态度价值观三位一体的发展，而传统的评价方式重知识、轻能力;重结果、轻过程;重教师的教，忽视学生思维水平的发展，忽视改进与激励功能;忽视了评价主体多源、多向潜能发掘的价值。我们在实施新课程中，对学生的评价陷入了一种矛盾与困惑中，即明知传统的评价办法必然导致与新课改精神背道而驰，而又没有与新课程配套的、与所教学生实际相符的新方法，这就迫使我们思考与探索对学生发展性评价。在教学中使用发展性评价手段，来促进学生的进步，应注意以下几点：
一、确立多元智力理论的评价指导思想
加德纳的“多元智力理论”认为：智力不是一种，而是一组。在智力中，各人的优势与特点不同。每一个学生都有自己的智力强项和独特价值，对所有学生都采用同样的评价标准和评价方式是不合理的。
我们的评价目的就在于发掘每个学生不同的智力特点并引导、鼓励其得以充分发展。新的评价不再是用同一标准、同一模式去筛选学生，用单一的试卷、单一的考分去区分学生的优劣、高下。
我们在评价学生时，要以学生综合素质的全面发展提高为出发点和归宿点，既要重视学生的学习成绩，也要重视学生的思想品德，以及多方面潜能的发展，注重学生的创新能力和实践能力的提高。在评价学生时，不搞一刀切，不排队不排名次，不分优劣等级。以学生为本，只要每一个学生在某一个方面或者多方面有提高，这名学生就是取得了成功。尊重学生的个性差异，允许学生在某个学段落后，经过努力后又赶上;允许学生某个方面有所突破，某些方面平平淡淡;允许个别“超常”学生脱颖而出，跳级学习。对学生的评价不仅要注重结果，更要注重发展和变化过程。注意差异性评价，不同学生标准可以不同，重在激发兴趣，使学生建立自信，勤于进取。
二、采用激励个性大发展的评价方式
每个人都有成就的需要，学生也不例外。清代教育家颜昊先生说：“教子十过，不如奖子一长”。花费很多时间和精力去苛求学生，不如用一点心力去发现其优点，并以此激励他，让学生体验成功的滋味。“十个手指有长短”一个班学生的智力、品德、个性等方面往往存在很大差异，个人的活动水平层次也就不同。我们在进行教育时，必须根据学生的“现实”和认知水平教学和评价，对学生应当给予不同的鼓励：一要赞誉鞭策优秀生;二要肯定、激励中等生;三要宽容激励后进生。宽容是一种信任和激励，信任、激励会化作一种力量，激励人自省、自律、自强。在教学中，教师应把自己放在学生的位置上，尽量揣摩学生的认识过程，顾及学生的学习兴趣、知识基础，评价时要体谅学生的学习困难，肯定他付出的努力和取得的进步。为学生创设一个民主平等的学习氛围，切忌轻率地给学习落后的学生下结论，简单地评价他的智力有问题。另外，教师在评价时最好不要赞赏学生的智能，如“成绩很好，你在这方面一定很有天才”，使学生以为成绩来自于自己的智能，因而不愿意继续努力去克服困难，教师尤其应该赞赏学生学习时所付出的努力，学生在遇挫时便会觉得是因为自己未尽全力，下次一定要更努力,这样有利于培养学生的进取心和不断自我完善的心理品质。
三、开展学生为中心的课堂观察评价
1、从学习的认真程度：比如是否努力思考，大胆提问，认真听讲，是否积极主动地参与学习活动(举手发言的次数，回答问题是否积极，思考问题、完成作业是否认真)。
2、基础知识和基本技能的掌握情况：对所学的内容掌握的程度，能否在理解的基础上用所学知识于新情境中，能否综合应用知识，灵活、合理选择方法解决有关问题。
3、解决问题和合作交流方面：如能否独立思考，对问题的理解是否深刻，能否从不同途径和角度去寻求问题的解答，提出的问题是否有一定的深度等。能否认真听取别人的意见并询问，能否积极表达自己的意见，完成小组分配的任务如何等。
总之，.11教师在课堂中要充分关注学生的状态，从学生的注意状态、参与状态、交往状态、思维状态、情绪状态、生成状态等方面去观察了解学生并随机作出适当的评价。通过评价，鼓励学生去思考、去尝试、去实践。
四、建立引导学生自主发展的成长记录
学生成长记录袋是指用以显示有关学生学习成就或持续进步信息的一连串表现、作品、评价结果以及其它相关记录和资料的汇集。而学生成长记录袋则是指通过对成长记录袋的制作过程和最终结果的分析而进行的对学生发展状况的评价。学生成长记录袋有以下几个特点：一是记录袋中材料的收集和和选择是有目的的而不是随意的，是与一定的教学目标相适应的。它不只是简单汇集学生作品，而是有意义、有目的地收集学生迈向课程目标的与成长和发展相关的材料。二是记录袋的基本成分是学生作品，但同时也包括对学生完成作品过程的描述或记录，还包括学生本人、教师、同伴和家长以作品的评价。三是学生应是选定自己的成长记录袋内容的一个决策者甚至主要决策者。四是记录袋评价的主要目的是要通过大量材料的收集和学生本人对材料的反省，客观而形象地反映出学生某方面的进步、成就及其问题，以增强学生的自信心，提高学生自我评价、自我反省的能力。
以入选材料性质的不同，可以把学生成长记录袋分为：最佳成果型、精选型和过程型三种
最佳成果型：是指通过收集学生在某一领域的最佳成果，来对学生在这一学科或这一领域的最佳成果，来对学生在这一学科或这一领域的达到的水平做出评定。这种记录袋材料的形式是多种多样的，只要能反映出学生在这一学科或这一领域的最高水平即可。
精选型：与最佳成果型相比，要求了解最广泛的学生成果。它要求学生提交的不只是标志他们已经达到的最高水平的成果例证，还包括他们感到最困难的典型成果例证。这种记录袋可以深刻地反映学生成长的概要，高度揭示学生取得的一般成绩。收集这种记录袋材料的时间往往要持续一年以上。
过程型：其突出特点是致力于寻求发展性成果证据，而不是最终达到结果的证据。它要求学生一步一步地收集能够反映他们在一定领域中从起始阶段到完成阶段所取得的进步的成果证据。
混合性记录袋是最佳成果型、精选型和过程型的混合体。它既包括过程性作业，也包括结果性作业;既包括最佳成果，也包括虽然不是最佳但具有典型性的成果。它的目的实际上就是为学生作业提供一个有形的窗口，以便教师、学生、家长等可用它来评价学生的进步以及一学期的发展。大多数的记录袋都属于这种类型。
五、形成科学利用考试结果的评价措施
在实施新课程后，考试评价仍然是教师进行评价的一种重要方式，它为判断课程目标是否恰当、教学是否有效、学生掌握知识情况提供了信息依据，是教学的“导航器”。对考试结果如果能进行合理地解释，合理分析利用考试的结果，有利于促进学生的发展。以往的每次考试后，总是按分数的高低进行排名。以名次的升降来衡量学习成绩的方法，不仅不科学，而且会对学生心理产生很大的负面影响。
篇15：发展性学生评价
建立促进学生发展的评价体系是我国当前课程改革的一项重要内容。如何作好学生发展性评价是广大中小学教师关心的问题。在当前的评价改革中，人们关注的焦点集中在直接指向学生学习活动的3个操作性环节上，即确定评价目标、收集有关学生学习状况的信息、向学生提出反馈意见以求其改进。这当然是非常重要的。但值得注意的是，人们发现，即使教师对学生提出了恰当的评价(学习)目标，对学生的学习情况有了充分的了解、作出了合理的判断，给学生提出了恰当的反馈和改进建议，学生的学习也仍有可能没有丝毫改进，甚至可能在评价过程中形成师生之间的对立。我们认为，这是由于评价操作发生于一定的情境之中，建立在一定的基础之上，只有对上述评价操作的环境进行优化，为其打下坚实的基础，才能真正突出评价的发展性功能。正如“教育现象学”的开创者马克斯·范梅南所说，“教育从根本上讲既不是一门科学，也不是一门技术。不幸的是，有些人确实学了所有教学技术却仍然是一个拙劣的教师。”
有两个方面的原因决定了发展性评价必须重视其发生的环境和基础。(1)教师对学生的评价应该是富有教育意义的。(2)发展性评价以师生互动为载体，必然受到师生关系和师生交往状况的制约。学生与教师不是机器，教师对学生的评价也不是机械操作，发现什么地方出了问题只要调整其中的程序或者变动一下其结构就可以了。因此，不能将日常教学中的评价固化为测验、考试和提问等具体形式，也不能将其窄化为明确目标、收集信息和给予反馈等操作流程，必须将教师对学生的评价置于富有教育意义的师生互动之中，强调评价过程中师生的心理条件及情感基础。
我们认为，有效的发展性评价需要建立在两个重要的基础之上。
教师：对学生抱有期望、给予激励
教师对学生的评价一般来说是有目的、有计划的，所以其评价行为必然受到其对学生的期望以及怎样实现此目的的信念的制约。教师期望是教师对学生未来行为或学业成绩的估计和预期，是建立在教师对学生现状了解的基础之上的。 苏霍姆林斯基认为，“如果一个人不相信孩子，认为孩子将一事无成，在学校不会有所作为，那么，他不仅会使孩子们痛苦，而且自己也会终身都感到苦恼。”罗森塔尔效应非常典型地体现了教师对学生的积极期望经由激励性的教导和评价促进儿童认知和学业提升的“魔力”。
教师在评价中对学生的期望激励之所以如此重要，是因为它分别会在教师和学生身上产生积极的效应。(1)教师会根据其对学生的期望选择特定的评价行为。如果教师对某个学生有较高的期望，那么他就会更倾向于给学生提出有挑战性的学习目标。即使学生没有达到预期目标，教师也会给予更多的宽容和理解。在这种情况下，教师在评价中更多地给予学生信任和鼓励。而如果教师对学生形成了消极期望，那么他就很容易忽视这些学生，对他们的学习成绩要求不高，很少给他们回答问题或表现的机会，也不愿耐心启发、引导他们回答问题;教师也较少运用各种身体语言、动作来鼓励这些学生。(2)从学生的角度来讲，一旦教师的期望被其知觉到，这种期望就会成为其确定自身价值、评价目身发展水平和可能性的重要线索，在此基础上形成主动发展的动力。学生会将教师对他们的期望作为一种“预言”，形成积极的自我评价与自我概念，进而他们对自己也会产生一个较高的期望，并且朝着实现预言的方向努力。
因此，教师在任何教育教学环节中，都要始终对学生抱有期望，相信学生有一个更好的未来，相信评价应该，也能够促进学生的发展。为此，教师应做到以下3点：(1)教师要对每个学生形成合理、积极的期望。教师要根据每个学生的具体情况，确定学生的“最近发展区”，使学生明确自己努力的目标。该目标既要富有挑战性，也不能难度过大，以免使学生丧失信心。(2)教师应在日常评价中通过多种渠道表达对学生的期望和激励。如当学生没能正确回答问题的时候，教师给予鼓励的眼神;当学生犯了错误，教师送上温暖的话语;当学生有了进步，教师表示真诚的祝贺;当学生遇到困难，教师给予有力的支持等。(3)教师在评价中要给予处于弱势的学生更多的激励。对于智力发育迟缓的学生、学业成绩不良的学生、被孤立和被拒绝的学生、有过错的学生、有严重缺点和缺陷的学生、与教师意见不一致的学生，教师要更多地了解他们的需求及困难，通过给予他们更多的支持和鼓励使其感受到期望和信心。师生间：有效沟通与相互理解。这里的“沟通”、“理解”指教师与学生之间有高效畅通的沟通渠道，教师对学生有着深刻的理解。
随着教育观与课程观的转变，“舞蹈型”的课程正在生成，“舞步”有赖于两个“舞伴”——教师与课本、教师与学生、学生与课本之间的交互作用。在这样的课程理念下，教师对学生进行评价将成为一个“应答性”的过程。在评价的过程中，无论是确定评价目标、收集评价信息，还是给予反馈和指导，都是师生互动的过程。因此，师生之间如何沟通，沟通的品质如何，直接决定了评价具有多大程度的有效性。
具体到日常教学的评价，每个学生的生理心理素质、个性特点、生活环境、兴趣愿望和能力特点等都存在着差异，他们在学习中有特定的优势和不足，其背后的原因也是各不相同的。因此，在教师对学生的评价中，教师对学生多方面的深入了解，不但更有利于教师知道学生的学习状况“怎么样”，更有利于教师明确“为什么”。此外，师生双方在评价中达成理解，有利于师生拥有共同的目标和努力方向，避免学生被动接受评价，有利于学生理解和遵从教师的指导，从而大大提高通过评价促进学生发展的有效性。
师生之间要达成理解和共识，首先要求教师放下权威的架子，卸下自己的面具，用真诚唤起学生的信任，向学生表露自己内心的真实感受，彼此诚实坦白、畅所欲言。其次，教师要具有同情心，多从学生的角度看问题，容许学生发表不同的意见，站在学生的立场去理解他们。此外，教师要有积极的聆听与反馈技巧，在与学生的沟通交流中敏感地发现有价值的信息。教师要善于提出司题，了解并且探求学生深层次的想法，并及时作出反馈和回应。
教师可以通过多种方式拓宽与学生沟通的渠道。如在学生作业本上写批语、课下与学生聊天、和学生单独谈话、召开主题班会、通过电话或网络进行交流等。教师与学生沟通的内容可以是非常广泛的，如学生对时事的看法、学习过程中的苦恼和压力、对人生的理解、对未来的期望、对人际交往的理解、情感的波动等，不必只局限于学习方面。
总之，作为发展性评价的两个重要基础，教师对学生的期望激励以及双方的沟通理解会为评价创设积极的氛围。学生由于“亲其道”而“信其师”，这样，通过评价促进学生发展的有效性将大大提高。
