我与诸多的有名的人同船，初时船上的人都不认得我们，只把我们归为普通的贫民百姓，因为大舱没有多余的空位，我和拉尔夫只得共用一个统舱的铺位，就在起航的时候，一名上校上了船，对我十分的尊重，从而我在船上的受到了更多的关注。别的几位绅士便邀请我们一起到大舱去，因为这时候大舱有了空位，我们也乐得麻烦，便欣然地搬了过去。

得知上校将总督的信函带上了船，我便向船长要求该让我保管信函，但他说他说信件统统装进了袋子，现在不好查找。过了不久，船长兑现了他的承诺，给了我查找信件的机会，我找出七八封我兑现的信。拿着那封可能是总督写的信去找那个文具商。当我给他信时，他却突然冒出这样一句话：“哦!原来这是德尔斯登的信，我最近才发现他是一个十足的无赖，我不想与他有任何瓜葛，也不想接他的任何来信。”经过反复的比较，我在那句话的影响下对他的诚信产生了怀疑。

篇12：《富兰克林自传》读后感

我记得读芒格《穷查理宝典》的时候，这老先生把富兰克林夸了个遍，对这本书更是熟读多少年。后来罗辑思维又出过一本富兰克林的传记，当然是请人代笔的，不是自传了，老罗也在节目里各种卖力推销。最近看写伊隆马斯克的文章，他说他的iphone里目前正在看两本书，其中一本就是这个，另一本是乔布斯传。

这题材真的是不吸引我的。美国的开国元勋？科学家？独立宣言？这些和我的国家、时代和领域都相去甚远。我只是很俗地知道百元美钞上面印的富兰克林头像......但是！竟然！我非常顺畅地看完了这本书！一点点勉强和犹疑都没有，可谓是难得的阅读体验顺畅美好的书。

富兰克林虽然没有上过多少学，但是从当印刷学徒开始，就不断地练习自己的语言表达能力。他复述他人优秀文章，在积累词汇的同时，学习如何整理思想，使文章变得有条理性。他向苏格拉底学习，改进自己激进的辩论方式。优秀的语言表达能力给他的一生带来了许多机会。他参与起草了《独立宣言》和美国宪法。他在报刊上发表文章，影响了许多社会事务的决策。

富兰克林在自己的出版事业稳定之后，开始关注公共事务。他是一个勤于思考和勇于实践的人。在实践的过程中，他不断地观察与总结。书里有许多他关于关于管理的感悟。例如，富兰克林带领工人修建防护墙时，他发现工人有事做时总是心满意足，而没事做时，工人就会变得烦躁易怒。他认为各殖民地应该联合起来抵抗法国的侵略，而不是请求英格兰的帮助，当这个建议遭到拒绝的时候，他深刻地感受到执政者手头有太多的事情，所以通常不愿意考虑执行新的项目。一项好的公共政策得以实施，通常是因为形式所迫，而非执政者主动实施。富兰克林在推动自己的方案时，通常归功于集体，而非个人，前者的实施效果通常比后者好。

富兰克林说，诚实和勤奋应该成为你人生的伴侣。而我最敬佩他的是他的实践精神。他的一生完成了太多的事情。很多人去看励志书，获得了别人的成功地快感。书看完之后，往旁边一丢，就继续走原路。与其花大把的时间去享受那种快感，还不如马上行动。如果大获全胜，这样就实现了自己的梦想。一败涂地又能怎样？任何事情没有完美，完成不完美的工作远远优于无限拖延梦想中完美的工作。

富兰克林的道德目录，包含了十三点，现抄录出来，与君共勉：

一、节制----食不过饱，饭不过量。

二、沉默----不说于人于已无益的话；不和人谈无聊的废话。

三、秩序----东西放在一定的地方；做事要有一定的时候，不可乱来。

四、决断----决定你应该要做的事，决定了后一定要做。

五、俭朴----不是于人或是于已有益的事，不要花钱；换句话说，不要糟蹋浪费。

六、勤劳----爱惜光阴，要时时刻刻做有益的事，不做不必要的行动。

七、诚挚----不做与人有害的欺骗行为，思想纯洁公正，说话要出于诚意。

八、正直----不做与人有害的事，或规避自己责任内应做的好事，免得使人蒙受不利。

九、中庸----不走极端，对人少怀怨恨之心。

十、整洁----起居生活，身体服饰，务求整齐清洁。

十一、宁静--不为琐碎小事，不为寻常普通或不可避免的意外不幸事，扰乱到心绪不宁。
