(1) 认真审题。根据题目类别, 弄清文体的要求, 并判明文章的种类( 议论文、说明文、记叙文), 同时确定文章要阐明的主题或要表达的中心思想, 若题目已经给提供了提纲, 还要注意弄清各提纲要点之间的逻辑关系。考生在拿到作文题后切勿唯恐时间不够, 提笔就写。 一旦写的内容偏离了题目的要求, 等到发现了再改就来不及了。我们平常所说的“磨刀不误砍柴功”就是这个道理。

(2) 注意安排设计段落。根据文章的中心思想, 确定各个段落的主题内容和主题句。如果是议论文, 一般要从论点的正反两个方面来考虑, 首先是某观点的合理成分或者某物的长处, 然后是该观点的不合理成分或者该物的短处, 最后阐明自己的观点。如果题目给提供了提纲, 只要把提纲扩展成主题句即可。

四、句子结构和用词正确

要在写作中, 使用正确的句子结构, 选择恰当的词汇, 首先要勤学多练。尤其在开始练习写作的初始阶段, 可勤查语法书和字典等工具书, 背记常用词和短语, 扩大词汇量, 拓展知识面。 要深刻理解所背词语的内在含义, 并了解他们所使用的语言环境。复习备考时, 请务必认真阅读本书的后面关于写作方面的论述, 模仿并熟记一些常用的过渡词和英语句型, 以及一些英语范文,并切忌自编自造汉语式的英语句式和词组, 养成不良的写作习惯。 一定要注意使用学习过的,比较熟悉有把握的句式和词汇。

插入语的使用会让你的句子看起来结构更加丰富多变，同时也符合英语的习惯表述，例如：可以把副词和连接词放在句子中间(一般放在主谓之间，两边分别加上逗号)，例如：however、therefore、for example、I believe。举例：Other individuals, however, take the attitude that ...这样表述，不仅使句意前后连贯，还可使文章简介明了。

三、结合主题

一、认真审题

审好题是写出优秀作文的第一步，下笔之前考生要仔细阅读试题的相关要求及信息，如图画、图表、数字等，准确把握命题老师的出题意图。作文最忌讳上来就写，想到哪里写到哪里，不明确考点，凭自己的主观臆断来编故事。以2011年考研英语一大作文为例，漫画部分显示，有两个游客坐在一只小船上，边游览边往河里扔垃圾，附近河面上漂浮着大量的垃圾，漫画下面有四个字：旅程之“余”。很明显，漫画立意在发展的同时要保护好自然环境。有的同学如果草草审题，盲目下笔，一旦出现文不对题，后果不堪设想。

二、列出提纲

考研英语的答题时间是很紧张的，因此要尽量压缩答题时间，考生们在平日的备考中也十分注重速度的练习。在作文的写作中，从构思到成稿时间有限，无法将大量时间放到列出详细提纲上，但是在最短时间内列一个粗略的关键词提纲还是相当有必要的。对原始材料分析归纳后形成一个基本的结构框架：如漫画所要表达的主题是什么，directions中的要求包含了哪些内容，文章段落应该如何组织，这些都要心中有数。只有在基本框架确定了的基础上，考生将具体内容填充完整时，才能思路清晰、行文流畅。可以说，列出提纲对考研英语作文写作起着事半功倍的效果。

三、开始写作

开始写作时一定要注意以下几点：

(1)语言的连贯统一

要选择那些最能体现中心思想，最具代表性的材料，而且这些材料要表达一致的意思，切忌堆砌词汇，注意语言前后的逻辑关系，关联词要使用到位。

(2)词汇、语法的正确

成文中要特别注意语法、词汇以及标点的运用，不要一味追求华丽的词汇而写自己没有把握的单词和连自己都不知道对错的长难句，造成不必要的失分现象。考试时要选择自己最有把握的词汇、句式，冲刺时多背诵闪光句型、词汇。

(3)卷面整洁
