教学方法：
1、我通过对所学知识以旧代新，循序渐进的方法。突出教学重点，分散教学难点，从单词到句子再到对话，在师生、生生间的交流中不断进行着有意义的练习与实践，使知识的学习不再枯燥乏味，使抽象的句型至一个个生动的情景与活动之中，学习过程变地自然轻松，充分发挥了他们的学习主导地位，并培养了他们学习致用的能力。
2、在复习方位词以及句型“Where is ---?It’s in ---.”时，我结合中国地图，合理使用了白板独有的放大镜功能。由于地图中的地理事物比较小，放大镜可以将地图局部放大，除了给孩子们耳目一新的视觉感受，更方便于学生观察，描述，既创设了有效的课堂氛围，又达到了课堂实效。
3、通过超链接功能，我给学生们展示了从百度搜索到的时尚之都纽约和有着“迷人微笑的”旧金山的视频，把这些有声有色的画面带到课堂中来，这样不需要太多的`语言就可以给学生身临其境的感受，激发学生学习的热情和情感的共鸣！
4、本课练习的一个亮点，就是我通过从百度搜索到的精美图片——加拿大，墨西哥，纽约和旧金山利用白板巧妙分割成四大部分，通过让学生到前面亲身体验，边完成拼图，边说句子，在白板上自由拖动的过程，大大地激发学生的学习兴趣，学生更加主动地参与到课堂的活动中来，师生间的交流得到了加强。

一、热身

二、新授
1 导入
老师出示中国地图。

并用英语句式I’m from Benxi Liaoning.（我来自于本溪辽宁） 引出辽宁的具体地理位置。It’s in the north of China”（辽宁在中国的北部。）
并继续追问学生：“你们来自于哪里？”让学生用所学方位词以及句型结合地图来回答。 然后出示图片引出本课人物Simon和第一地点纽约。
然后进一步追问：“纽约在哪里？”学生回答：“New York is in the east of America.（纽约在美国东边。） 并让学生通过所学知识和课前预习谈谈对纽约的印象。
然后老师播放纽约视频，丰富学生视野以及对异国文化的了解。
2、呈现
（1）师：现在大明和西蒙正在谈论关于美国地图的一些事情，让我们一起听录音，并回答问题。Where is San Francisco?（旧金山在哪？）并翻放旧金山视频。

（2）再听课文并且跟读课文。 出示新单词： Canada,Mexico. 分三步由易到难教学新词。

B:让学生根据音标自己快速准确读出单词。

1、填空 从完成的句子中找出本课难点，引导学生说出：“因为加拿大和墨西哥在美国领土以外（句式里要去掉in the），而纽约和旧金山是美国的一部分．在美国境内（句式里一定要有in the），所以两种句式表达法有所不同。”

本节课选自外研版新标准英语三年级起点第七册第十模块第一单元。这个单元以大明在和西蒙在图书管的见闻为主题而展开的对话教学。通过本单元的学习要求学生能够遵守基本的规章制度，并执行指令，能够使用祈使句“Don’t… 和Please…”发出指令或要求，培养学生的综合能力。
学生学习活动的评价主要是为了激发学生的学习兴趣，调动学生的学习积极性与主动性。又因为是高年级的学生，对自我也有了一定的认识，对事情也有了一定的判断能力。所以课前我会制作一个学生学习活动评价表格，然后让每个学生都制作一个一样的表格进评价表。目的是让他们相互进行评价，等积累一个星期，得分最高的四位同学将得到一个小礼物。评价标准如下：
1.能积极参与小讨论，并能大胆发表见解的'得两分。

这节课我是以自由“free talk”的形式进行课文的导入，让学生谈谈在平时做些什么事，老师也谈谈平时到图书馆看书，就把话题引入到图书馆的规章制度来了，也就进入了课文的学习了。同时就为最后教学祈使句的时候做了铺垫，强调了祈使句一般省略了主语。也达到了预期的教学目的。但是在导入过程中，由于转变太快，由“I often watch TV”转到“She often watches TV.”。他们对第三人称单数也没有反应过来，我应该在这个过程稍微解释一下。

教材分析：
这节课我上的内容是新标准英语六年级上册第一单元第二模块的内容。主要是让学生学会用东南西北讲述某地的地理位置和相关的基本信息。
这节课的新课内容不多，主要是练习学生的听力，并且能够根据自己听到的内容进行重复，能听懂磁带的内容。这也是本课的重点，也是难点，由于各方面条件有限，大部分学生对于听力都是弱项。所以说要想上好本堂课，确实不容易。
教学目标 ：
1.知识目标 让学生学会问句型Where is New York ,并且能做出相应的回答。

教学过程：
一、课前
在上新课之前，我先和同学们打招呼，让他们对我有个大致的了解。
二、热身
在热身时，我先把这四个方位词写在黑板上，并且拿出四张纸也写上这些方位词，把它们放在不同的位置。按方向标的.位置摆好，带领学生做动作。然后我让学生两人做方位词的练习，这样就很自然的进入了今天的新课。
三、新课呈现
在进行课文教学时，我先让学生打开书，让他们说说这是什么？然后再让他们说说地图上有什么？根据学生的回答让他们跟着重复地图上的几个单词。
让学生听课文录音这是本课的重点，让学生听两遍或几遍并能跟着重复，提高了学生的听力。

四、chant学习
在学chant时，我让一半的学生画星星，另一半的学生画颜色的线条，在学生听到相应的单词时，就把图片举起来，学生在愉快的氛围中学到了知识。
五、作业
