这个周末，吴老师给我们布置了一项作业，就是让我们去做一些社会实践，比如：买菜、交电费、水费，买书、存钱……今天上午，我来到了菜市场，开始施行我的第一个计划——自己买菜。
一进到菜市场，里面可真热闹呀！很多小店外边都摆上了许多新鲜的蔬菜，有红彤彤的西红柿、绿油油的上海青、像小伞似的蘑菇等，还有一些小店在放鞭炮，庆祝开张，真是热闹非凡呀！我走到了一个蔬菜铺边，各种各样的蔬菜琳琅满目，看得我是眼花缭乱，真不知该买些什么菜好了。
这时，一个阿姨走了过来，一边看着她的菜，一边问我：“小朋朋友，你要买什么菜？”我仔细地看了看，突然发现了豆角，这可是我们家最喜欢吃的菜之一，于是，我心里想就先买豆角吧！因为我是第一次买菜，所以有些胆怯地说：“我要豆角，多少钱一斤？”“两块一斤，你要多少？”阿姨说着，递给我了一个塑料袋。我看来看去，挑了三把好的豆角，装到塑料袋里递给了阿姨，让她称一下。“二斤，四块钱！”阿姨一边看着秤，一边说。我从钱包里拿出了四块钱递给了阿姨，就开心地提上豆角走了。
我又来到了一家蔬菜店，这里的蔬菜更多了，有了刚才买豆角的经验，我的胆子开始大起来了，立刻开始挑选起蔬菜来了。首先，我先挑选了爸爸爱吃的土豆、妈妈爱吃的蘑菇；然后，我又挑选了我爱吃的西红柿；最后，我还买了一些鸡蛋。
走在回家的路上，我开始算账了：豆角4元，土豆2元，西红柿3元，鸡蛋10元，蘑菇5元，一共是24元。算完了帐，看着我提的这些菜，我的心里真是太高兴了！今天买菜，让我锻炼了独立自主的能力，还让我体会到了平时妈妈的辛苦，以后我会多帮助妈妈分担一些家务，给妈妈减轻负担。
