我们学校环境和生源都较为特殊,学生原有的英语基础和学习英语的习惯都较差,八年级学生的分化现象也较为突出,这势必大大影响了初中英语的学习效果。因此,我从学生实际出发,遵循教学规律,在教学实践中,我想方设法帮助学生掌握有效的学习方法,以激发和保持学习动力,培养良好的学习习惯,指导学生积极地运用语言,在学中用,在用中学。

第二单元的教学目标是让学生掌握给出适当建议的句型。在开展会话中,我始终以学生为主体,引发他们的联想思维,由单一的讨论内容过渡到综合内容,把几个不同内容的话题串联起来,既复习旧知识,又开发了学生的智力。在有准备的条件下,学生的回答的确是花样百出,令人捧腹。但在轻松的谈吐中,他们却都能自觉地使用我们学到的语言目标,对重点句型能熟练运用,可喜的是,许多同学对问题和烦恼表达的用法达到了一定的高度,并能使用准确。为听力的进行打好基础。在整个教学过程中,我特别注意中差生,鼓励他们大胆实践,并注意发现他们的“闪光点”,有点滴进步就给予表扬肯定,以增强他们的'自信心。如,本课学的WhatshouldIdo?这课,我发动全班学生都说出自己问题,烦恼和解决方法,整个课堂在热烈气氛中学会并运用所学的句型,提高了运用语言交际的能力。同时注重语感教学,加强培养语感和学习兴趣。

总之,在第二单元中,功能话题是谈论个人问题和烦恼,谈论学生的日常烦恼以及解决的途径,这与学生的日常生活息息相关,因此,课堂气氛比较活跃轻松,学生兴趣比较浓厚。但是不足的是,缺少拓展性。在我的课堂上,学生的发挥似乎总限制在课文内容,从而显得课堂内容不够充实。作为八年级的学生,他们需要更大的空间来展现自己的英语水平,为此老师要为学生提供一个平台。然而,学生的水平是受到老师的控制的,这就给教师提出了更高的要求,即力求把教学搞“实”、搞“活”。

1. finish doing

3. remind

本学期,我担任八年级两个班的英语教学工作。作为从事中学英语教学的我,虽了解到了一些教学教法,但在实际的教育教学中,我深深感觉到教中学英语之难之累。为使今后的教学工作取得更大进步,现对本学期的教学工作做一总结。

英语是中学生的一门主课,无论是学校、家长还是学生都很重视它,但是不少学生觉得这门功课单调枯燥,学起来吃力,甚至有不少学生放弃了它。究其原因,是学生对英语学习的接触面小,说练机会少,以及他与中文的部分反差的诸多因素,使得学生对英语学习常常存在“厌、怕、弃”的不健康的心理。这使我不得不改进教学方法。

第一、确立与新课程相适应的教育观念学生是学习的主体

我对《英语课程标准》进行了研读,了解了目前英语课程改革的目的、掌握了目前英语改革的重点、明确了英语课程各级的总目标和各内容的分级目标、理解了英语教学原则、学会了一些科学评价原则等,从而为后面的教学提供了充分的依据、奠定了的扎实的基础、保证了教学的顺利进行。

老师不能代替学生读书,代替学生感知,代替学生观察、分析、思考,代替学生明白任何一个道理和掌握任何一条规律。老师只能让学生自己读书,自己感受事物,自己观察、分析、思考,从而明白任何一个道理和掌握任何一条规律。于是我改变“一言堂”,把课堂还给学生,形成师生交往、积极互动、共同发展的教学过程。

第二、努力建立融洽的师生关系

相对来说,初中生比小学生独立性强,自尊心也逐渐增强,渴望得到尊重。师生之间只有互相尊重,互相信任,才能建立起友好关系,从而促进学生学习的兴趣。所以我必须树立正确的学生观,正确认识学生的主体地位。我用自己满腔的爱去关心、尊重学生,耐心细致地指导学生,沟通和学生的思想感情,使自己成为学生欢迎和爱戴的人。上课时我是学生的老师,循循善诱和激发学生学习的积极性,大胆求异创新;课后我却成为他们的大姐和好朋友,无话不谈,亮起心灵之光。

第三、严谨治学,保持良好的教态

教师的教风直接影响学生的学风。教师的一言一行,无时无刻不在影响着学生。所以我提高自己的思想认识和觉悟程度水平,做到爱岗敬业,学而不厌,诲人不倦,为人师表,治学严谨,还要保持良好的教态。老师的教学语言和教态对学生的学习有直接的影响。老师的教态好,学生就喜欢,他们听课的兴趣就高,接受知识也快。反之,学生就不喜欢,甚至讨厌。特别是正处于青春期的初中生,看问题开始 有可独立的见解,对他们更要注意教态和教学语言的使用。如我介绍新句型时,我利用语言的轻重,语调的高低,和一定的动作表情,尽量引起学生的注意和兴趣。当学生回答问题时,我的表情变得自然亲切,使促使感到老师对他们的信任,这样学生就增添了勇气,就能大胆地回答问题。

一、做到了认真备课。

课前备课,不但备学生而且备教材备教法,根据教材内容及学生的实际,针对八年级教学目标的不同:八年级在培养兴趣的基础上训练学生认读单词的能力,让学生试着模仿语音跟读单词;设计课的类型,拟定采用的教学方法,并对教学过程的程序及时间安排都作了详细的记录,认真写好教案。对每一课都做到“有备而来”,每堂课都在课前做好充分的准备,课后及时对该课做出总结,写好教学后记,并认真搜集每课书的知识要点,归纳成集。

二、在重点班坚持用英语组织课堂教学

即用英语教英语,并注意所用语言的正确性、纯正性和流利性,平行班中英结合,慢慢将英语氛围建立起来。

随着教学改革的不断深入,新教材层出不穷,越来越注重语言的真实性、地道性和交际性。用英语组织课堂教学促使教师不仅把语言用作讲解知识、传达信息和传授技能的工具,更把它看作所要传授的知识和技能本身。目前,由于课堂仍是绝大部分学生学习英语、使用英语唯一的方式和场所,教师更应该注重传达知识和信息的形式,为学生营造良好的学习语言的环境。我在运用英语进行教学时较能注意所用英语语言的可接受性、简明性、阶段性和实用性。

三、增强上课技能,提高教学质量

使讲解清晰化,准确化,条理化,情感化,生动化,做到线索清晰,层次分明,言简意赅,深入浅出。在课堂上,特别注意调动学生的积极性,加强师生交流,充分体现学生的主作用,基本做到了让学生学得容易,学得轻松,学得愉快;注意精讲精练,在课堂上我讲得尽量少,让学生有更多动口动手动脑的机会;同时在每一堂课上都充分考虑每一个层次的学生学习需求和学习能力,让各个层次的学生都得到提高。

四、认真批改作业:布置作业做到精读精练。

课下批改作业时,有针对性,有层次性。对学生的作业批改及时、认真,分析并记录学生的作业情况,将他们在作业过程中出现的问题做出分类总结,进行透彻的评讲,并针对有关情况及时改进教学方法,做到有的放矢。培养小组长帮助我检查其他学生朗读、背诵课文。

五、虚心请教其他老师。

在教学上,有疑必问。在各个单元的学习上都积极与其他老师商讨,学习他们的方法,同时,多听其他老师的课,做到边听边讲,学习别人的优点,克服自己的不足。

当然,工作中的不足亦是难免。比如,由于本学期的教学时间安排稍显仓促,学生的听力练习不够充分,还有待于以后加强训练。

新目标英语八年级下册教学工作计划 本学期,我将结合学校工作计划和学校教学工作计划的要求,规范常规教学,提高教学质量,努力形成自己的教学特色。 一、总体思路 以努力提高教学质量为目标,以抓好教学常规工作,提高英语合格率为重点,采用任务型教学法,注重“学困生”的教育补差工作,形成良好的教学风气。 二、工作目标 1、加强基础知识的教学和基本技能的训练,结合素质教育和课改要求,在夯实基础的前提下,逐步培养学生的学科技能水平。 2、开展多种形式的课堂教学活动,在研究教学方法上下工夫,激发学生的学习兴趣。钻研新课标,提高教学水平,真正做到教学相长,努力达到学校规定的教学指标 3、继续做好与安委娜老师的师徒结对子工作,起到模范带头作用,共同提高。 三、全期教学总目标 学生应有较明确的英语学习动机和积极主动的学习态度。能听懂教师对有关熟悉话题的陈述并能参与讨论。能读供七至八年级学生阅读的简单读物和报纸杂志,克服生词障碍,理解大意。能根据阅读目的运用适当的阅读策略。能与他人合作,解决问题并报告结果,共同完成学习任务。能在学习中互相帮助,克服困难。能合理计划和安排学习任务,积极探索适合自己的学习方法。在学习和日常交际中能注意到中外文化的差异。   四、教材简要分析 《新目标英语》八年级(下册),全书共有十个单元,另两个复习单元。本教材各单元话题灵活,贴近生活实际。本册书将学习的一些语法知识点有:一般将来时、过去进行时、现在完成时、间接引语、时间状语从句、条件状语从句、反意疑问句等。同时每个单元后都提供了一篇阅读文章,用以训练学生的阅读能力,扩大学生的阅读量。 五、教学基本任务和要求 按新课程下的课标,师生共同学习八年级英语教材。作为教师在教学过程中要尊重学生,使学生树立自尊自信,形成健康的心理,树立全球意识。通过本学期的学习,学生能做到吃的透、掌握牢,使学生有运用所学知识分析问题、解决问题的能力。使学生有向上的、积极的心理状态。   六、学生基本情况分析: 本届八年级学生的英语基础方面还很薄弱,经过上学期的不懈努力,学生的基础知识得到了加强,学习态度也有所好转。但是学生整体的惰性还是很强,自觉性很差。我所教的八年级家庭情况一般,家长很少管教孩子。学生智力因素相差较大,非智力因素差别也很大,造成学生两极分化严重。有些学生思想滑坡,心理脆弱,抗挫折能力较差。因此,在今后的工作中应加强以上的工作,达到逐步感化他们 另外,学生在情感态度,学习策略方面还存在诸多需要进一步解决的'问题。例如:很多学生不能明确学习英语的目的,没有真正认识到学习英语的目的在于交流;有些同学在学习中缺乏小组合作意识;大多数同学没有养成良好的学习习惯,不能做好课前预习课后复习,学习没有计划性和策略性;不善于发现和总结语言规律,不注意知识的巩固和积累。 七、教学方法设计与具体措施: 1、每天背诵课文中的对话。目的:要求学生背诵并默写,培养语感。 2、每天记生词,常用句子和习语。实施:利用“互测及教师抽查”及时检查,保证效果并坚持下去。 3、认真贯彻晨读制度:规定晨读内容,加强监督,保证晨读效果。 4、实施任务型的教学途径,培养学生综合语言运用能力。 5、在教学中根据目标并结合教学内容,创造性地设计贴近学生实际的教学活动,吸引和组织他们积极参与。学生通过思考、调查、讨论、交流和合作等方式,学习和使用英语,完成学习任务。 6、要充分利用现代教育技术,利用计算机和多媒体教学软件,探索新的教学模式,开发英语教学资源,拓宽学生学习渠道,改进学生学习方式,提高教学效果。 7、加强对学生学习策略的指导,为他们终身学习奠定基础。 8、关注学生的情感,营造宽松、民主、和谐的教学氛围。 9、作业布置要做到数量适中,批阅及时,对出现的问题要跟踪矫正,认真讲评,尽量面批面改。提高练习质量,要精选资料,杜绝在资料运用上舍近求远、避重就轻的做法。 10、开展丰富的课外活动,念英语诗,唱英语歌,讲英语故事,做游戏,谈论各种话题,便对话,进行单词竞赛等。 11、做好后进生转化和优秀生培养工作。对优生提出更高的要求,培养自学能力。对后进生进行专门辅导,布置单独的作业,让他们在小进步、小转变中体味学习的快乐,树立学习的自信,尽快成长起来。 优秀生名单:杨 琳 张燕  董莉敏 刘紫旋  张运龙  徐增坤  范纯多 王宇等。 后进生名单:王 鑫 陈祥鑫 杜彩凤 卓润成 李凤霞 金鹏 马龙吉  王萍等。 12、搞好听课。一学期听课不少于15节,多学习其他教师的经验和方法,促进自己的教学。 八、成绩考核 1、坚持日测、周测、月测的形成性评价制度:对英语学习实行量化制度,每日、每周、每月都要给学生检验自己努力成果的机会,让进步的同学体会到成就感,让落后的同学找出差距,感受压力。由此在班里形成浓厚的学习氛围,培养学生健康向上的人格和竞争意识。注重平时检查,课堂提问,行为考查等,淡化考试以减轻学生的心理压力。   2、重点考查学生的综合能力,实践能力。 3、掌握知识与实践结合,考查学生综合运用能力,提高学生抗挫折能力,形成健康心理 十、课时安排及教学进度: 教学进度安排 Unit 1  6课时 第一周----第三周 Unit 2  5课时 第三周---第四周 Unit 3  5课时 第四周---第五周 Unit 4  5课时 第五周---第六周 Unit 5  6课时 第七周---第八周 Review and Mid-Test 5课时 第八周 Unit 6  5课时 第九周------第十周 Unit 7  5课时 第十周---第十二周 Unit 8  5课时 第十二周---第十三周 Unit 9  5课时 第十三周---第十四周 Unit10  5课时 第十五周---第十六周 Review and Final-Test 11 课时 第十七周―第十九周

Activity 2. Presentation This activity introduces some new vocabulary. Task 1 . Make a two-column chart on the board with the heading Problem at the top of column 1 and the heading Advice at the top of column 2 .Then ask the students to tell you what you could do about it. Problem I want to buy a new guitar but I don’t have enough money. Advice 1.  Wait until next year. 2.  Don’t buy a guitar. 3.  Borrow one. 4.  Buy a used guitar. 5.  Get a part-time job.           Task 2. Then read the problem to the class again. Then write the words could ,should ,and shouldn’t on the board next to the chart. Read the problem to the class again and help the class give advice using the words could, should ,and shouldn’t. Task 3. Ask the students to finish the task in 1a. Teach : Serious problem is a very bad problem, a very big problem. Out of style means not in fashion. enough money : I don’t have enough money to buy a bike. Ask the students to write the problems in the serious or Not serious column. Task 4. Talk about the answers. Ask ,Who put “My parents want me to stay at home every night?”  the serious column? Ask the same questions about the other items. Discuss which problems students thought were the most serious. Activity3. Listen and circle the problems you hear in activity 1a. Task 1.Point to the pictures in activity 1a. Ask different students to say what they see in each picture. Read the instructions to students. Task 2. Play the recording the first time. Students only listen. Task 3. Play the recording a second time. Students circle the problems they hear. Then check the answers. Step4. Pairwork Ask the students to look at the problems in activity 1a and make conversations. Homework 1.  Make up your own conversations. 2.  Make ten sentences with could, should and shouldn’t.   Lesson 2  Listen and speak Section A 2a---Grammar Focus I. Task1.Read the instructions. Learn the key vocabulary. Read and repeat the phrases. Task2.You will hear a conversation between Nari and a friend. Play the recording twice and students circle the word ,Nari’s friend uses to give advice. Then check the answers. Activity 3.Listening Task 1. Read the instructions. Show students the example match. Task 2. Play the recording again and check the answers. Activity 4. Groupwork Task 1.Read the instructions for the activity. Task 2. Point to the example in the sample dialogue. Ask two students to read the conversation to class. Task 3. Ask students to role play a conversation between Nari and his friend using these two sets of sentences.Then have the students work in pairs. Task 4. Check the answers by calling on different pairs to say a conversation to the class. Activity 5. Grammar Focus Review the grammar box.ask the students to say the questions and the responses. Explain that the word should is always used to ask for advice, but the words could, should, and shouldn’t are used to give advice. Could is a less serious word than should. Pay attention to the questions and answers, ask and answer loudly. Homework 1.  Review the conversation and the vocabulary. 2.  Write your own conversations on giving advice.   Lesson 3  Reading and writing I. Teaching aims and demands : Students learn to talk about problems and give advice. II. Teaching key and difficult points: A. Vocabulary pay for, part-time job, okay, either, bake, Teen Talk, tutor, need, maybe, good idea, bad idea, okay idea B. Target language What should I do ? Then I think you should get a part- time job. III. Teaching methods: Audio-lingual methods and Control-reading and writing. IV. Teaching aids:  a picture V.Teaching procedure Activity 1. Revision Task 1.Revise the vocabulary and the key structures. Task 2.Dictation. Activity 2. Reading and writing Task 1 .Read the instructions. Write the possible responses on the Bb and ask a student to read the responses to the class. Discuss the three responses and be sure students understand how the responses are used. Task 2. Ask four students to read the conversation to the class. Ask the students to fill in the blank. Then ask and answer in groups. Activity 3. Pairwork Task 1. Read the instructions.And then ask two students to read the sample conversationn. Task2.Ask the students to say some ways to get money that aren’t in the book. Task 3. ask the students to work with partners as they ask for and give advice.Then ask two or three pairs of the students to say their conversations to the class. Activity 4. Pairwork This activity provides an opportunity for students to use the language of the unit to give advice. Task 1. Read the instructions. Then ask two students to read the dialogue. Task 2. Ask another pair of students to give their advice on another topic. Pick a topic of current interest in the news. Homework 1.Review the vocabulary and target language. 2.Write your own conversations about problems and advice.   Lesson 4  Section B I. Teaching aims and demands : Students practice using the target language. II. Teaching key and difficult points: A. Vocabulary original , the same as, in style, nicer, haircut, inexpensive, comfortable B. Target language I think Erin should tell her friend to get different clothes.
