My recent visit to the San Diego zoo provided me with an interesting experience. It was a noisy place that I have not been to before. The surrounding places inside the zoo were filled with noise both from the animals and people who came to visit them. Thank you for the nice cue card and hope the description will not make you feel bored as I was during my visit.
I did not have the experience to visit a zoo. So, I went to visit the San Diego zoo with some of my college friends. The experience was outstanding. But the noise around me was intolerable. I did not have the idea that the animals could make so noise. In fact, I could not enjoy the visit there only for it being a noisy place.
I went to the zoo to see animals that I have watched only on books and movies. Actually, my parents did not allow me to move outside of the home without any important reasons. And visiting in places and meeting with friends was wasting time – they believed. But when I grew up and started studying college, they became more friendly to me and allowed all the things that they did not permit before. So, the real-life knowledge for me is limited, and I started to gain some knowledge. As part of earning knowledge, I went to the San Diego Zoo and came to know about various types of animals.
The zoo was noisy for some certain reasons. First of all, this is the place where the wild animals live and they create noise. I think they try to communicate with each other and thus create the sounds. Hence, such noises are natural from the zoo animals. Besides, when the visitors come to the zoo, they also create noises. They shout and talk, and laugh seeing the animals before them. In fact, this is the natural expression of wonder for the visitors. But since there are no restrictions about sound, they create noise after their sweet wills. So, all the sounds inside the zoo create a noisy environment.
Initially, it was a nice experience to me to be at the zoo. But after passing some moments inside there, I felt uncomfortable. I could not enjoy the trip to the zoo for the noise. It appeared that the visitors are making more noise than the animals inside. There should be a limit about noise which should be followed strictly. The animals will make noise which is natural but the noise from the visitors is completely undesired. Though I could not bear with the knowledge, I made the trip complete inside the zoo as it was my very first visit. I think the authority should take steps to prevent such a noisy situation in this zoo.
Busted! These Are the 14 Biggest Myths About Black Friday
Every year, savvy shoppers find deep discounts online and in stores on Black Friday. Whether they're looking for the newest, most advanced tech device or the perfect outfit for New Year's Eve, buyers know retailers will offer some of their best deals during this time.
But are all the deals great? Do you have to shop online to find them? And do Black Friday sales even have to begin on Black Friday? We've addressed these questions, and quite a few more, in our list of the biggest myths about Black Friday. Brush up onsome shopping knowledge now, so you're well prepared for the upcoming deal season!
Contrary to popular myth, women are not worse drivers than men. 查下字典就知道,原来brush up on sth & brush sth up 的意思是to quickly improve a skill, especially when you have not used it for a time。比如I must brush up on my Spanish before I go to Seville.
2. You're Missing Out if You Only Shop Online
Companies advertise doorbusters in order to attract customers to their brick-and-mortarstores. But in recent years, as competition has escalated among rival retailers, thoseeye-catching deals have steadily moved online as well.
The reason is simple. Traditional retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy know that online retailers like Amazon will match their best prices on in-store deals. Thus it only makes sense to offer the same deals online, to remain competitive. The goal is to beat Amazon, but the real winners are deal-hunters.
4. All Black Friday Deals Are Amazing
This is shopping 101. Remember, retailers are in business to make a buck, and they can't do that if they lose money — or even make too small a profit — on every deal.
Some deals are great, but others are filler. The great ones are there to lure you into buying more stuff, ideally at a healthy markup. So do your research and uncover the truth about those “rock bottom” prices before you buy.
6. Apple's Black Friday Sale is a Must-Shop Event for Apple Fans
Apple Stores across the country will be packed on Black Friday, but they won't be offering great deals. Last year, the tech giant offered gift cards with its full-price devices, which was pretty disappointing for shoppers hoping for a discount. If you want a real deal, you'd be better off checking out what third-party retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and MacMall can do.
7. You Have to Stay Glued to Your Computer All Day to Get Deals
Sure, Black Friday can be stressful. With deals popping up throughout the day, you might feel like you have to keep your eyes on the computer monitor.
But that's simply not the case. DealNews has you covered. Before you spend 24 hours staring at a pixelated screen, set up an alert with us to receive notifications when your favorite deals are posted.
10. Luxury Goods Don't Go on Sale for Black Friday
It's true that Black Friday emphasizes lower-end electronics, however, in recent years, several luxury retailers have begun offering sales and promotions through their outlets. Stores like Last Call by Neiman Marcus, Barney's Warehouse, and Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH are a few outlets you can expect to participate in Black Friday sales. Plus, even Apple products go on sale now!
12. Doorbusters Are Always Crappy Quality
Bargain bin devices have a reputation for being bottom-of-the-barrel items that nobody wants, and you have to be careful for retailers trying to pass off questionable devices as “special edition.” But over the past few years, the doorbuster selections have been showing more flair than usual to entice customers. For example, we've seen rock-bottom prices on laptops with better-than-average specs, as well as eye-popping TV deals from brands you've actually heard of before.
Do you like watch films
拿这个题目举个例子:1、喜不喜欢看电影可以有三种问法:a.What kind of films do you like to watch? (Why?) b.Is there any kind of film that you don't like to watch? (Why?)c.Do you like to watch films?
Hello everyone,I’m Evy,your friend, today i am going to share three questions and sample answers about “film”,and I hope they are useful when you are taking the oral test of IELTS.
Question1:What kind of films do you like to watch? (Why?)
Answer1:I like all types of horrors from Hollywood to Bollywood! The more blood and gutsthe better! My favorite horror movie is “Saw ” and every time I watch it I feel kind of weird andspooked afterwards, but I'll watch it again anyway.
Question2:Is there any kind of film that you don't like to watch? (Why?)
Answer2:Horror films creep me out. I watched “The Shining” when I was a little kid and itscared the hell out of me and I have not been able to watch horror since. I can do thrillers, just not horror.
Question3:Do you like to watch films?
Answer3:Yes.Probably for the same reason I like to read or watch TV: to experience others’ lives, adventures and emotions vicariously without having to experience those things in reality, such as something painful like a tragedy or a horror, or because it's not plausible in your own life, like fantasy/adventure movies.
Ok that's all,So much for today, hope to see you next time, bye!
注解:Bollywood [bɑ:liw?d]n.
Guts [g?ts]n.

Vicariously [v?'ke?r?rsl?]adv.
Plausible [?pl?z?b?l]adj.

I enjoy every minute of it,或者说It suits me。
I'm deeply/strongly concerned about _______这个句型来谈某个问题,表示出你对此的担忧。
Describe an important invention (before the age of computers) that has influenced human society._
_ou should say:
what the invention is
when and where it was invented
how it is used
and explain how this invention has influenced society. _
What the invention is
The phone booth. After the great invention of telephone by Bell, another American inventor Greg William invented the coin public telephone in 1889.
When and where it was invented
Inventor William Gray invented the phone booth after realizing the difficulty of placing a phone call from outside the home.
How it is used
A telephone booth is a small structure furnished with a payphone and designed for a telephone user's convenience. The user of the booth pays for the call by depositing coins into a slot on the telephone or by using a telephone card.
and explain how this invention has influenced society.
More than a century has passed and now the telephone booth is seen almost everywhere. It has even become the art in some condition. However, with the rapid growth of the Internet the use of mobile telephone, the traditional telephone booth will probably fade out. And nowadays more and more cities are building the high-tech telephone booth that serves both as an ordinary phone and an information centre. Maybe we will only see the old ones in the museum show in the near future.
Part 3 Electrical Appliances
1. What kinds of electrical appliances are most used in the home besides the telephone and computer?
I would have to say washing machine, vacuum cleaner, rice cooker, coffee maker, electric kettle, air conditioner, etc. Those would be the ones I couldn't live without or I mean wouldn't want to do without.
2. What are some advantages and disadvantages of using electrical equipment?
Firstly, it saves our time but, one the other hand, people will become totally dependent on equipment and not to do things they could do themselves. Lastly, people could get electrocuted if using them carelessly, which happens every year.
3. Do you think we can now live without electrical appliances?
Well, it’s hard to say. Electricity has truly become the lifeblood of our society. Right now we can’t live without electrical devices because we rely on them to make our life easier. Many of us have become addicted to what can be done with indoor plumbing, the Internet and cell phones. Actually, It is difficult but not impossible.
Modern Technology & Human Progress
1. What changes have taken place in society as a result of the use of modern technology such as the television and the computer?
No doubt to say that modern technology has made our life easier and convenient. Invention of the tools like stapler, Hoover and ATM is the milestone of technology as well as human being's progress. Take the Internet for instance; people can communicate with friends all over the world now. Only by clicking, you will gain what you expect.
2. Do you think people rely too much on machines and modern technology nowadays?
Yes most people do. Most people like looking for the easy way to get certain things done like: cooking with microwave, weeding with lawn mower and so on. I think maybe we rely on conveniences too much that we should actually get away from it all and back to nature.
3. How do you think modern technology will change the way people work in the future?
It has already changed the way people work in every field and it will continue. For instance, my mom studied to be a graphic designer when she was in college. She did everything by hand 20 years ago. Now, her field grew with the use of Internet and new technology as she’s drawing by computer, bidding work online, and submitting work online. In the future, more work can be done automatically, and all we need to do is just to press the button or to check the jobs if they are ready for collection.

A smile can brighten our day and lighten any situation. In today’s fast paced life we are forgetting the importance of smiling.
It was when I was travelling with my cousin to Chandigarh on a bus.It was around a month ago. There were around 50 passengers in the bus and of all age groups.People were doing different activities- some were talking to each other, a few were reading, children were busy playing games on the mobile phones and some were sleeping. After about half an hour into the journey, a passenger sitting in the middle of the bus started talking on the phone. He had a very loud voice and I could hear him even though I was sitting in one of the front seats.I couldn’t help hearing his conversation because of his loud voice.Apparently he was talking to his wife. From his conversation it seemed that he had forgotten their wedding anniversary. He was apologizing profusely to his wife and was saying that he was ready to buy her anything she wished for. That conversation lasted for more than 10 minutes, before his wife finally accepted his apology. After the call ended, the person heaved a sigh of relief. My cousin and I exchanged a few smiles during that conversation. And I happened to turn around and saw that everyone in the bus was smiling.Everyone in the bus had overheard his conversation and had enjoyed it.Even the person talking on the phone looked relieved and was smiling.Thinking about that journey still brings a smile to my face.I think that we should smile more often, like when we greet someone or thank someone. It can make someone’s day.

Teaching others is really a very good habit. But sometimes, you will need to be careful about providing the support. In my life, I have taught many people overcome their terrible situation and now I will describe the latest event that took place with me.
Being a student and part-time worker in Malaysia, life is difficult to me. I have been struggling with my challenges but try to help others in all possible forms. A university friend of mine, Christopher wanted some monetary supports for me to deposit his tuition fees for the new semester. In fact, he did not work and studies with the expense of his own, rather he depends on his family. He belongs to a wealthy family from Kenya and it was for the first time that he sought financial help to me.
I had an idea that why should not I share my amount with him. So I taught him this idea. It will help to meet the crises. So I shared my tuition fees with him and gave him the half of the amount. We had the option to pay the fees by three instalments. Usually, I used to pay the entire amount at the beginning of the semester but now I took the option to use the instalment facilities. Accordingly, I lend him from my money to pay the first instalment of the semester with me.
Christopher successfully deposited the first instalment and then he also deposited the due amount when he received his required fund from his family. Thank you for giving me the chance to talk about this topic. Actually, I can remember quite a few occasions when I tried to teach others. The particular event that I would like to talk about was the time when I teach my friend and his family to feel the warmth of the world.
I met with my friend when I was a volunteer. He had a family of 5 members and he was a technician. He had very little education and he mostly relied on the small shop he had to repair electronic goods. After a devastating cyclone, his small shop was demolished and he had no other income source or ability to rebuild it. One day I noticed him trying to console his small kids who were demanding for foods. This happened near our college campus and I had been there to meet a friend. I was so touched by the beautiful yet gloomy faced kids that I went ahead and talk to this person. He explained what happened and was talking in a trembling voice. He also told me he assured her wife that he would feed the kids and would bring foods to home.
I bought them some snacks and fruits and asked them to stay nearby for a while. I watched the small kids were eating the foods voraciously and they had smiles on their face. I went to my class and told the whole story to my three close friends. Finally, we went to our class teacher and wrote an application regarding the suffering of the person and his family. The teacher permitted us to spend an hour to raise some money for the suffering family from other classes and we were so glad to have the permission.
We had been able to convey the sufferings of this person and his family to the students and teachers and we raised a significant amount of money which was beyond my expectation. With this money we bought some foods and clothes for this family and they were so grateful that the husband and wife started crying and praying for us. We gave the man the remaining amount and he had been able to start his work again.
About my feelings, I was very satisfied and contended. This is the first time I realised how enthralling and satisfying it is to help someone. I felt like blessed and the person and his wife revered me as if I was their dear one. In fact being able to help someone in need is something we can only feel and words can’t actually describe it.

I knew about Lincoln from the history class when I was in high school . Abraham Lincoln was the 16th President of the USA. During his reign, the situations were unusual. The country went under some serious critical moments and the Civil War was one of them. Besides, there were some political and constitutional crises as well. But Lincoln controlled the situations in an efficient manner. It is Abraham Lincoln who abolished the slavery. Before the abolition of this system, racism was at its peak. Lincoln also did some other notable activities. He is the man who also made the federal government system stronger. The modern economy actually started its journey with the association of this President. In fact, many of the facilities we are enjoying today are the gift of this smart man.
Yes, I like him much. He is a historical figure in the history of the USA. He served the country as a great guardian and wanted to improve the existing norms and rules. Accordingly, a good number of changes took place in the country and we are bearing the legacy in the present days. It is really a matter of courage indeed to rule a nation during a bloody war and provide the right directives, working amid internal crisis and more. He also supervised and set strategies during the war so that the losses are minimal. All of his attempts were humane and he dreamt of a modern America. He emancipated the slavery in the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution for the USA. In fact, this the greatest tasks he has ever done and for this reason, a majority of the US citizens like me hail him.

I have a sort of crush on Sima Guang, a prime minister from the Song dynasty, about 1000 years ago, and I find this crush rather queer, hard to explain, as he was a diehard conservative, while I embrace libertarian ideas. On most issues, I agree more with his political opponent Wang Anshi.
Sima Guang was held as a model Confucian politician and scholar by his contemporaries and later generations for his honesty, self discipline and sense of morality. He was strict with others and stricter with himself, too tough to be charismatic. In politics, he was irrationally uncompromising, which to a certain extent damaged the prospects of the nation and his own career. Su Shi, one of his proteges, irritated at his obstinacy, nicknamed him ‘Sima Bull’.
I’m sure he isn’t the social, easy-going type, definitely unromantic. We wouldn’t get along well even if we met. But ever since the first time i heard of him in a primary history class, about a story that him cleverly saved a play pal from drowning in a water tank when he was just a little boy,I do find him cute in many aspects.
He was a faithful husband. ancient China was a polygamous society. Men were allowed to marry a wife and take concubines. Although rigorous prerequisites were imposed, only men upholding high moral standards followed the laws to the word. And Sima Guang was one of the few. He refused to take a concubine even when his wife was found infertile and his conditions fulfilled the prerequisites. He got ruffled up whenever his wife pressed the issue.
It might sound a little hypocritical. Only those who know him truly are sure of his sincerity. In ancient China, people believed children (especially male ones) to be a testment of one’s integrity and God would punish those who commit moral or other despicable crimes with a childless curse. And a man has the obligation to continue his family line. Sima Guang must have been exceptionally courageous to face the possible moral pressure.
Sima Guang wasn’t a born saint. He used to hang out with courtesans and wrote some amorous poetry in his youth. On a few occasions, his opponents playfully confronted him with those poems. Imagine his embarrassment!
He was a neat freak. He was the editor-in-chief in compiling China’s first chronological history book, 'Comprehensive Mirror to Aid in Government' (资治通鉴), which covers the entire Chinese history from the Warring States period to the foundation of the Song dynasty. The project took 19 years, and the piles of drafts filled two rooms. People were awed by his team’s serious attitude when reading those drafts. Every page was neatly written, with only a minimum of corrections.
He was indifferent to wealth. When his wife died, he had to sell his only three acres of farmland to cover up the funeral cost.
Sometimes self-denying could be sexy.

例如:Where is the book?(这本书在哪儿?)很少有人说What is a book?(书是什么?)而美国的小学生就开始问:What is the book?这种Where is the book? What is a book?
How to explain things in different ways?(用不同的方式解释同一事物)。
比如,I love you. I want to kiss you, I want to hug you, I will show my heart to you.
(Beg you pardon; Will you repeat that, please?, etc.),或者解释一下(What do you mean by that? etc.),因为有的题目确实是考生从没考虑过的,提这样的要求是合理的,不会被扣分,因为这也同样是交际的一个方面,没听懂硬扛着或瞎猜,只能被扣分。

This topic reminds me of a decision I made a year ago when I decided to drop out of college and follow my own path, not the crowd. After I told my decision to my parents, they just freaked out, and they were strongly against it. They told me the importance of a decent degree when it comes to hunting for jobs in China, and they insisted that I should finish college no matter what.
But the thing is, my college is located in a remote area, I mean, an underdeveloped city. I couldn't see my future in this city. I want to work in a vibrant city, you know, like Shanghai or Beijing. But the city I was studying in was nothing like that and it couldn't offer me what I want.
If I stayed there for four years, I would end up being an ordinary person, with no dreams, no ambition and no bright future. Well, I understand my parents' decision and I can't blame them, 'cause they are pretty traditional and conservative. In their opinion, a girl is supposed to follow a certain lifestyle. For example, graduate from college, find a steady job, get married and start a family. But to me, that is not living, that is just not dying. I want to lead a life that's worth living, you know.
So I just ignored my parents' strong objection, and went ahead with my plan. I took a gap year trying to figure out what I truly want to do with my life, and now I started to apply to universities abroad, so here I am.

I’ll talk you through what the decision was, when I took it and what the results were. Finally, I’ll explain why it was so important that it still impacts on me today.
The decision was whether or not I should relocate to a different part of the country to take up a new job. I had to make the decision about 6 years ago. I had been self-employed for a while, but then there was a downturn in the economy and I stopped getting enough work to support myself. I applied for a job in Sheffield, which was a city I didn’t know at all, and when I had first an interview, and then a job offer, I was faced with a big decision. Should I leave my home and friends to start a new life in Sheffield for a promising job at a prestigious university; or should I stay where I was in my lovely house and familiar surroundings, and hope the work might pick up again in the future?
I thought a lot about the pros and cons; I cried a lot to be honest, as the thought of making a new start was really scary. I’d be all on my own, and what if I didn’t make friends or couldn’t do the job well? However, ultimately it came down to income. I couldn’t live on fresh air, and this was a well-paid job. I also thought if I turned the work down, and then didn’t manage to pick up new contracts I’d always wonder ‘what if?’ or how might things have been different if I’d just been brave enough to ‘give it a go!’ I accepted the job and started to pack. In less than three weeks I was renting a flat in a new city and turning up to work in a new office with new colleagues. One resolution I made early on, was to be really positive about the decision once I’d made it. I’d join societies, say ‘yes’ to every social invitation, and really try to build a new life quickly. I wouldn’t ever look back!
The result of the decision? Well, I moved to a new city, and took a new job. It was hard at first, there was a lot to learn and sometimes it was lonely too. However, I’ve never regretted it. Sheffield is a lovely city near to beautiful countryside. I've rented an attic flat which has great views over the city in one direction and woodland in the other. I think this city must be one of the friendliest ones in the UK, people were incredibly welcoming to me as a newcomer, and there is always lots to do. I don’t have that job anymore, but I don’t regret taking it at all. I do sometimes miss my old house in Leamington where I used to live, but I don’t miss anything else. I think the move revitalised me and took me on a great new adventure, sometimes you do just have to take a bit of a risk in life to progress, this bit of risk taking worked for me.
So in conclusion, I think it was a big decision, but I made a good choice. Of course, it was an important one as it changed everything for me, from where I lived and worked, to who my friends are. Honestly though, I think perhaps with decisions it matters less what you decide, and more that once you have made a decision you make the best of it, wherever it may take you. Sometimes the journey is speedy and smooth, sometimes it is rocky along the way, but whatever path we choose, it is what makes us the people we are – for better or worse!
Keep asking yourself “why?”
Explain the alternatives
Give an example
范例:
Question:
Do you think that school children should be encouraged to have their own ideas, or is it more important for them to learn what their teachers give them?
Answer:
I think that we should definitely allow children to be creative and have their own ideas. (why?) Children need to develop the ability to think for themselves and solve problems (why?) because as adults they will not always have somebody to guide them or tell them what to do. (alternatives?) If we don't allow children to have their own ideas, they will be less successful in the adult world; they will be too reliant on others. (example?) A doctor, for example, might encounter a situation that he or she hasn't been trained for, but will still be expected to make a decision that could save someone's life.
Question: What do you think are the most important qualities for friends to have?
Answer:
Maybe the most important things are that friends need to share common interests and be honest with each other. (why?) Friends are people we spend a lot of time with, so it definitely helps if they enjoy doing the same activities or talking about the same topics as we do, and of course we need to be able to trust our friends, so honesty is vital for a good friendship. (alternatives / example?) I think I would struggle to become friends with someone who didn’t have anything in common with me, or who wasn’t reliable or trustworthy.
Question: How important do you think it is for a person to spend some time alone?
Answer:
I’d say that it’s essential to spend a bit of time alone, even if it’s just a few minutes a day. (why?) When you have a few minutes to yourself, it’s a chance to take stock and reflect on things. (why?) Most of us live such busy lives that our brains need time to catch up every now and then. (example / alternatives?) Personally, I try to have a bit of “me time” every day; I’ll go for a coffee or find a quiet place to sit and read the newspaper. If I never had any time alone, I think I’d go mad!

The occasion that I had a special cake was two years ago. It was the last few months of my university. I had completed my dissertation and the job I had found did not start yet. So to kill the spare time, my best friend and I decided to have a travel to Tsingtao, a famous tourist city, with yummy seafood and mild climate.
One day, after we finished the tour to the undersea world, it was already 6 o’clock in the afternoon, a time for dinner. We randomly picked a restaurant on the street and ordered some local dishes. Then he said he would go out for a moment to make a phone call, as the restaurant was very noisy. I said ‘fine, I will just wait here’. It was a long wait, and he did not return until the dishes were served. In his hand, I found a cake. That was when I suddenly realized that that day was my birthday and he had not been out to make a phone call, but to look for a cake shop.
It was just a normal cake, with some cream and cereal crisps, and did not have any delicate decorations. But it was the most special and delicious cake I had ever had. We were in a foreign city, exhausted from the trip, but he still remembered my birthday which I had already forgotten. The cake was the symbol of our friendship.

I often go to a place called “Mao Live”.
Most of the time punk-rock live shows from local bands are performed there, but sometimes they have world-wide known bands perform there as well. Whenever a famous band comes to play, the place is always jam-packed with people. In case you don’t know, punk-rock music is very rebellious in its style and has a strong sense of individuality. Fans of punk-rock are full of energy and very highly Spirited. These kids know how to party and won’t take ”no” for an answer.
Now that more and more teenagers enjoy punk-rock music and more teens are starting to build their own bands and want to make music as their career, this venue is becoming increasingly popular. They make their own music and need somewhere to perform, and Mao Live has become the best place for those kids to show off their talent.
If you need to chill out after a hard day at work and you need some music to relax yourself, then Mao Live is totally the place that you want to go. People sing and dance together; they make new friends and generally let their hair down. Of course, the music they play there is simply amazing. Sometimes it can be a little loud but that’s the point of punk-rock! It’s got a good atmosphere because everyone who goes there shares the same musical tastes and. sense of style so everyone feels right at home. You can really be yourself.

A couple of months ago I went to the supermarket to buy some seeds, because I wanted to plant a tree in the garden and help with the process of reforesting my hometown. I chose the appropriate tree for my home, a small one with tiny roots and good for the summer, because the space where I will plant it is narrow and very hot.
The lady in the shop told me that the brand had a campaign supporting the care and promotion of home-grown plantations. She was giving away some extra seeds for the purchase of a tree, so she gave me some other seeds as a gift, which I could choose from a long list of possibilities. And I thought that it would be a good idea to accompany the tree with some flowers.
The gift package had fewer seeds than the one I had bought; however, there were enough to plant some beautiful flowers in the garden. I started to read the instructions and put water and the necessary elements for planting as well as making the land fertile to plant the seeds correctly.
I thought that the gift was very useful and complemented my purchase very well, because the flowers I planted grew before the tree, decorating the garden quickly while the tree grew. I decided to plant the flowers around the tree and that was a good decision because finally when both were fully grown, the garden looked very colourful.
This whole process helped me to understand the planting procedure and the care that plants require.
Receiving this gift made me feel good for two reasons: first, because I really like the campaigns which endorse care and consciousness about the environment, promoting reforestation.
All this helps people and encourages them to plant and be more aware of being committed to improving the planet. Second, I was happy with the idea of buying a tree, planting it with some flowers and growing a beautiful garden in my home.
Overall, this was a pleasant experience that I highly recommend, because it makes you feel connected to nature by contributing to improve the ecosystem.

Last month I went to a concert in Beijing with my friends. It was the first show of the tour, performed by my favorite singer Eason Chen. We took the high-speed rail there and arrived at the stadium at about 3 o’clock in the afternoon, four hours earlier than the show time.
The main reason we needed to set out very early is that we worried about being jammed on the way there. As we all know, our capital city is quite crowded. Besides, it was a great chance for us to visit the park nearby. It was said that it was one of the largest parks in Beijing, where there are a variety of rare plants.
It was a great experience to arrive early for several reasons. Firstly, we had adequate spare time to stroll around the area, where we met a few interesting people and watched some busking. Some of them were wearing an outlandish dress or lovely make-up. The buskers were staging a show by singing or even dancing. What made me excited was that we were even invited to join in. Secondly, over the course of getting around, we bought many special souvenirs for our friends and also painted a unique design on our face to show our enthusiasm and ardor to the coming concert.

If an international tourist has a one day visit to Indonesia, I would recommend him to see the island of Bali. There are various reasons why s/he should visit the island, and I will explain in details about it.
Firstly, Bali is a small island, but it has many beautiful scenery places that people could visit in a day. The island is famous for its' beautiful beaches such as Kuta, Sanur and Nusa Dua Beach. These beaches are known for their beautiful white sands along their coast and for their waves as well, as tens of thousands of tourists from overseas are visiting the island annually. The location of these beaches is near therefore tourists could visit these beaches in just half a day.
Secondly, as these beaches are located near to Denpasar, which is the capital city of Bali, there are many things that tourist could do in the city itself. After lying down on the beach, people could see some unique entertainments in the city, such as the traditional Barong and Kecak Dance. These traditional dances are unique and artistic because they are the combination of art, magic, philosophy and religion. And then, there are so many traditional restaurants in Bali, where tourists could try these culinary places. Bali is well known for its' pork ribs and fried chicken, and many tourists have enjoyed these culinary experiences because they are crispy and spicy.
I personally believe that if an international traveller has only a day to see Indonesia, I would suggest him to visit Bali, as it has a combination of beautiful landscape, artistic traditional performance and recommended restaurants which people could visit in a day.
