The medical world is gradually realizing that the quality of the environment in hospitals may play an important role in the process of recovery from illness.
As part of a nationwide effort in Britain to bring art out of the galleries(陈列室) and into public places, some of the country’s best-known artists have been called in to change older hospitals and to soften the hard edges of modern buildings. With 35 million copies in print, in 35 languages, the first three Harry Potter books have earned $480 million in three years. And that was just the warm-up.
