Describe a special toy you had in your childhood.
you should say:
what it was
who give it to you
how often you played it
and explain why it was special to you
1.special: meaningful, unique, indispensable (means a lot)
2.玩具词汇: stuffed dolls, models, building blocks, jigsaw puzzle
As a girl growing up in a working-class family, I did not have as many toys as other girls back to my childhood, but now I still maintain a set of building-block, for it is my favorite that is so special to me.
I think I got it in the year I went to primary school. At that time, all my families felt so happy for me, especially my grandpa who always regarded me as the apple in his eyes. To congratulate me, he bought me a set of building block which was made up of like 100 pieces which were in different colors, sizes and shapes. Can you picture how excited I was when I got it? I was so ecstatic about my new toy and treasured it as much as I could, played it almost every day, sometimes alone, sometimes with the company of my home girls. I could still remember how I used the blocks to construct houses, buildings, castles and stuff like that. With just a blink, I’ve already become an adult, a lady, and my favorite building block has already been put aside into the closet. How time flies!
But it is still very special and meaningful to me, for it’s given by my grandpa who passed away like 10 years ago. When I was young and grandpa was still alive, he always played it with me together and it was a lot of fun. Now when I see my favorite toy blocks, it could always remind me about my beloved grandpa and those beautiful memories we shared together.
Also, back to my childhood, both of my parents were fully occupied with work to fight for supporting our family, so most of time, I had to stayed home alone and wait for them to come back. To get rid of loneliness, I usually chose to play with my toy block. In other word, it’s like my best and most special companion in my childhood.
Last but not least, now when I look back, it was also very special, helpful & meaningful in the development of my intelligence. I once heard from the lecture that toy blocks were very beneficial in improving eye-hand coordination for kids. Meanwhile, by playing it, children could also take the best use of their creativity & imagination.
Reasons above all make building blocks my most special toy in life.
WHAT+REASONS+SUPPORT
Q: What’s your favourite sports?
A: Swimming/I like swimming.
Well, my favourite sport is definitely swimming (WHAT). I like it since it can help to shape my body figure and train my muscles (REASONS). I learned it since I was a child and still go swimming once or twice every week (SUPPORT). That’s why I like it.
WHAT+REASONS+EXAMPLES+EXPERIENCES
What was your favourite toy when you were a child?
When was the first time you went on a trip?
When did you start to use the Internet?
If the examiner detects, he will ignore your memorising answers!
要告诉自己雅思考试不是一个考查知识或者经验的考试 it's not a test about knowledge or experience,它是一个考查语言能力to test your language ability 的考试。往往这时候许多考生会犯一个致命的错误 a fatal mistake,那就是跑题run-off topic,也就是说直接避开这个话题而去大谈其他话题 do not try to avoid this topic and talk another topic。这种错误会直接导致考官没有相应的回答来作为评判的依据 the examiner will not have any related response to assess your speaking score,最终导致低分lead to a low score。
find an alternative way to response
That’s an interesting question, I have never thought about that before, but ….
你可以先告诉考官,你没有这方面的经验,也没有考虑过这个问题,you can tell the examiner you don't have any experience about this theme, 但是你听你的一个朋友谈到过他的经历,but you would like to share one of your friends' expeience 这也不算跑题。
Don’t they realize the whole point of this test is to speak?
? Q:Do you like taking pictures?
? A: Yes.
Do you like taking pics?
? A1: Yeal, why not? Taking pics is a good way to keep our moments. In the future, when we see those pics again, we could totally recall our wonderful moments. So never will I miss the chances to take photos.
? A2: Sure. I like that indeed. Actually, I take pics whenever I see something wonderful or something impressive. You know, the birthday, big festivals, even those beauties or ladykillers. In fact, I guess taking photos became one of my life.
? Q:Do you often read books?
? A:Yes, I do, because reading broadens my horizon and enriches my outlook.
Q: Do you often read books?
A: Well, no, I only read books every now and then. Some I like to read are monthly publications, and I don't have the time to read every issue religiously. Sometimes, when I am in a café without my laptop, I may pick up a magazine from the bookrack or browse an e-magazine on kindle.
Why you think they have a happy marriage.
观点:
1) this couple always walk their dog together.
2) they share a common interest – backpacking.
As for why I think they are happily married, well, for starters, I know a lot of couples who take turns to walk their dogs, but this couple always walk their dog together. And rather than having one person lagging or dragging behind the other, they always walk comfortably hand in hand or side by side. I get the impression that they find time for each other and enjoy being with each other.
More importantly, they share a common interest – backpacking. I heard them talking on several occasions that they would rather spend money on travelling than on the latest models of mobile phones or name brand clothes. I’ve seen many of their travelling photos, and they always wear joyful smiles, like they are saying how lucky they are to have each other.
1) well
2) you know
3) actually
4) I mean
5) personally
6) to be honest
7) on the other hand
8) frankly
9) as a matter of fact
10) In my opinion
11) As far as I’m concerned
12) On top of that
13) it occurs to me that
Our team lost. It was a good game, though。
Middle-aged people like to cook at home, young adults are a bit different, though。
That's exactly what I want!
Where are you going exactly?
So basically, there's not a lot I can do about it。
The more expensive articles are not necessarily better。
People are now aware of the fact that many restaurants are not that hygienic。
Despite the fact that she was wearing a seat belt, she was thrown sharply forward。
It doesn't matter how expensive the gift is, it's the thought that matters。
雅思口语技巧5:用tend to替换most of
当你想说most of…
Most Chinese people cook at home instead of dining out. Chinese people tend to cook at home.
That performance was pretty impressive。
I'm pretty sure about that。
还有instead of saying “very angry”, you can use the word “furious”。
那同理,如果我们想表达a little + adj.,也可以找到相应的更传神的形容词,例如:tipsy = a little drunk
She's shockingly beautiful。
It's an outrageously expensive meal。
Does your school have diving classes?
Not that I'm aware of, no。
Have you ever had the experience when you watched the sky for a long time?
Not that I can think of, no。
Do you love nature?
Well, not really. I'm more of an indoor person。
“I mean”
That movie was so boring, I mean, nothing happened for the first hour!
I mean…,比如:
He has a gorgeous wife, and by wife I mean mistress.
“You mean…?”
Sorry, I didn't quite catch it.
Sorry, could you slow down, please?
Sorry, can you rephrase the question, please?

eg: There’s there are three man...the... men
London is a beautiful city..
1. important = crucial (extremely important), significant (amount or effects large enough to be important)
2.stick = adhere, cling (hold on something tightly)
3. top = peak, summit
4. poor (soil) = barren, infertile (used to describe the soil is so poor that plants cannot be planted in it)
5. show = demonstrate (to demonstrate a fact means to make it clear to people.)
6. ruin = devastate (it means damage something very badly, or utterly destroy it.)
7. boring = tedious (if you describe something tedious, you mean it is boring and frustrating)
8. worry = fret (if you fret about something, you worry about it)
9. dangerous = perilous (very dangerous, hazardous) (dangerous, especially to people's safety and health)
10. difficult = formidable
TV shows/programs/channels
From Monday to Friday, I watch very little TV, but on the weekend or during holidays, I’m a bit of a couch potato.
Well, actually, I’ve got no particular preference for TV shows. I just flick through the channels and watch anything that attracts me.
What I like most is entertainment shows, cos they’re really entertaining. You know, after a hard day at work/school, a good laugh is exactly what I need to relax.
One of my favorites is an entertainment show called Happy Camp, which is one of the best-liked shows among young people. Most of my friends are loyal viewer of the show.
学习工作类,如what is your opinion about your job/major 。
What do you usually do in your free time 。
家乡背景类介绍,如can you say something different about your hometown。
在口语考试中,许多我们平时总是使用的简单词句都会在脑内大批量冒出来,比如连接词than、however、but、so;一般词of course,、as you know;形容词big、small、long、short、old、yong等等。
而我们学过的,还有很多词都是可以表达喜好的,比如enjoy, be interested in, be fond of, be crazy about,这些都可以给考官带来焕然一新的感觉。
There's a zoo inside of it, and there're different kinds of animal in it, such as…
Redwood Creek Challenge Trail (opened February 8, 2001) : A play area for kids, featuring a Mount Shasta wilderness-like setting and suspensionand wire bridges. It also features rock climbing and a Brother Bear scene cave. It is also designed for adventurous adults.
Well, I don't have a certain favorite attraction in particular, but if I have to say, I'd probably say it is Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Actually, it's a play area for kids but it also attracts a young adult like me for its design. It is a mount shape background with a exciting suspension and wire bridge, and also a cute brother bear cave which even fascinatesa lot of adults.
Describe a song or melody that you remember from your childhood.
You should say:
where you heard this song or melody
how old you were when you first heard it
what the song was about
and explain how you felt when you heard this song.
My mother used to sing me lullabies. One of the songs she sang was ”Scarlet Ribbons“. I remember being about 4 or 5 and really identifying with the little girl who wanted the ribbons and fascinated with the ”magical answer“ to the mother's prayer.
It's a folk tune that Harry Belafonte sang ...I suppose you could also identify it as religious or Christmas music, although Christmas isn't mentioned. I also have a newer version of Michael Crawford singing it, but no version comes anywhere close to how my mom sang it for me.
Now that I'm a mom myself, I identify with the mother in the song, wanting so badly to give her child a simple thing she wants, and I still believe prayers are answered, although many times God answers them through the actions of other people who are instruments in his hands.
Describe a special thing you want to buy in the future.
You should say:
what it is
why you want to buy it
how long do you want to have it. (how long if you wanted it?)
and how to get it.
I don’t think I’m alone when I say buying an apartment is at the top of my list. I've had my heart set on one by the sea, in a city like Qingdao, preferably with nice views and an outside space like a balcony or veranda. At the moment I’m single, so it might start off as a bit of a bachelor pad, but it’ll need to be big enough to raise a family eventually, so I reckon ninety-five square meters or so should do the trick.
I think I’ve wanted to buy my own place ever since I moved out of home to go to university and got a taste of the independent life. It’s also part of tradition that a man should have a house before he gets married, along with a car and a good job to provide for his wife. I want to buy a flat and settle down in a city that I can see myself spending the rest of my life in and I think Qingdao really fits the bill.
I don’t like relying on my parents for money and I’m dead set on saving up the necessary funds myself. Sadly, apartments by the sea cost an arm and a leg, so if I want to realize my dream I’ll be saving up for ages, but with hard work and determination. I’m sure I can reach my goal!
1.Do warm up 口语考试也“热身”
2.Do practise at home
Google hangouts
iTalki
Verbling
Bussuu
British Council’s Facebook page
TakeIELTS Official Facebook page
3.Do ask the examiner
4.Do extend your answers
What can people do to reduce global warming?
I believe the best way to combat climate change is to reduce carbon emissions. Carbon dioxide is the main reason the planet is getting hotter, because it is a greenhouse gas and prevents the sun's radiation from leaving our atmosphere. For example, it has been shown that there is a link between the increased use of fossil fuels and rising global temperatures. However, some doubt this and think global warming is a natural cycle and not a man-made problem.
5.Do master functional language
6.Do use natural spoken English
7.Do consider grammar vs fluency

Describe something you learned in a place/from a person
You should say:
What was it that you learned
When did this happen
Where was it/ Who taught you
How difficult was it to learn
(Describe sth you learned in a place/from a person)
Several years ago, I tried to learn how to bake cakes in rice cooker and succeeded in making it. My roommate is a baking genius and she taught me to bake cakes at home.
Learning how to bake cakes in rice cooker was pretty difficult because of several reasons. First of all, the portions of materials used were hard to control because I didn't have enough professional cooking tools. I estimated all the materials and merged together. I actually failed once, and succeeded at the second time. Secondly, baking cakes in rice cooker is different from baking in oven. I couldn't change the temperature of rice cooker and I couldn't know how well the cake became with the time passing by either. I had to guess and make sure the cake was not over-cooked. I had to pay more attention to the cake and couldn't leave the cake alone. The last difficult thing was how to take the cake out of the rice cooker. I had to slip the whole cake into a plate with some skills.
Describe your favorite season of the year
You should say:
How is the weather like
Why do you like this season
What activities do you usually do during it
How would different kinds of weather affect people
1-4月雅思口语新题part2范文之:喜欢的季节(your favorite season of the year)
My favorite season in Canada is summer. The real summer in Canada lasts only two months, July and August. During these two months, the temperature climbs above 20 and it's always sunny. The trees become green again and the whole city is full of various flowers. Day time is longer and night time is shorter. Most time we have sunlight until 10 in the evening.
The reason that I like summer is because summer time is the best season for outdoor activities. I love hiking, jogging, and biking. I can go to national parks or city parks easily in summer. Summer gives me so much fun.
Just like what I've said, I love hiking, jogging, and biking in summer. I still remember I went to different national parks last summer for hiking. I saw beautiful lakes and mountains. I even encountered a bear looking for food, which was pretty amazing experience.
Weather may affect people' choice of activities. It's warm outside in summer, so more people will choose outdoor activities. We always have more music festivals or food festivals in summer. Winter is super cold in Canada. People would like to stay home instead of going outside.
I am from Ho Chi Minh City and I like the Diamond Plaza shopping mall that I often visit. It is best known as the Diamond Plaza and is situated at 34 Le Duan Street, near the Notre Dame Cathedral. I visit this shopping mall almost twice in a month and sometimes more frequent than that.
People from nearby places and from the city are the most frequent visitors but it's not uncommon that tourists and shoppers from other cities come and shop from this shopping mall. This shopping center includes a 22 story building plus an adjacent 15 story building and offers a great shopping experience including restaurants, cafe, hospital, lounges, Cinema Theater. There is a helicopter pad on the roof of this mall and offers many other facilities.
The Diamond Plaza shopping mall hosts many renowned brands and offers distinctive shopping experience. You can find almost everything you need to shop from here. Many fashion fans find it as their prime place for shopping and the shopping environment is unmatched. One does not need to be rich to come and shop here as the goods offered suits the people from economic status.
The food court is something you would love about this shopping mall. There are more than hundreds of food shops that you can pick from and the game center attracts mostly the game lovers and teenagers. The movie theater of the Diamond Plaza is called Lotte Cinema and is in the 13th floor. With the most modern facility and safe environment this is an ideal shopping center for all types of shoppers.
I like this shopping mall mostly because of the quality products and good price offering. Apart from that the security, customer service and nice environment also attract me.
A visit to the mall
You should say:
When did you visit the mall?
Why did you visit it?
How was the experience?
I went to Masonville Mall 3 months ago. I went over there because I had to do some shopping. I went to the mall with my cousins. We all had to do some shopping for the upcoming wedding of a friend, so we all decided to go to the mall.
The mall was extraordinary. I was really impressed by the decoration of the mall. I had limited budget, and I had decided that I would spend only $500 on the clothes, but things were so good that is why I had to borrow some money from my cousin and then I bought other stuff.
The best thing about the mall was that the staff over there was very friendly. I have visited a lot malls in the world, but I have never seen such good customer service. After doing all the shopping we were so exhausted that we could not even walk a step. I came up with the idea of eating food, so we went to the food court which was located in the mall. It was a huge food court and almost everything was available over there. I had New York Fries and a burger.
I always miss the mall a lot as the trip was fantastic. I sometimes think of going there again, but these days I am kind of busy, so I do not find the time to go over there. But, I am planning a visit to the same mall somewhere around next month.
How do large shopping malls and commercial centres affect small local businesses? Why do you think that is?
1 Large shopping malls traditionally put smaller retailers out of business, due to the larger stores being able to sell goods cheaper. But this only applies to stores which are in direct competition with each other. When it comes to a bakery, for example, I would say the smaller store may actually have an edge over the larger one due to having more room for creativity and the much-vaunted “personal touch”.
2 Large shopping malls force small businesses to be more competitive - ultimately, if a large store puts a small one out of business then it’s the smaller store’s fault for not providing the goods and services customers need at an acceptable price.
Describe one of your best friends.
You should say:
Who this person is
How you became friends with this person
What kinds of things you like to do with this person
And explain why he/she is your best friend.
Sample answer:
I met my best friend while I was at university. He was in the same class. At first, he scolded(责骂) me for leaning(倾斜) back on my chair but, after a while, we began to become good friends. I used to meet him regularly at an Internet café. He went there regularly. We would spend hours there together. He would always lend a hand to me because I didn’t know much about computers at that time.
He’s a humble(谦逊的) guy, never shows off his knowledge, even though he can. He’s sincere and doesn’t mind mildly(和善地) scolding you or even himself in all the same sentence. . He is usually very sociable, but sometimes he can also be a bit shy. He is good at soccer and volleyball and used to be on the school team. He’s quite muscular(强壮的) and his hair is frizzy(卷曲的). He has very droopy(无精打采的) eyes, like a puppy(小狗) and a very wide mouth.
I think the main reason we are such good friends is because we have a lot in common and we both have the same kind of humour. We also always support each other whenever we need help. I think we are such good friends because we don’t feel we ever have to pretend(伪装) around each other, and we are really helpful to one another. I will miss this guy a lot if I go overseas but since he is always at the internet café, I can email him, and he’s probably right there to receive it!

1. Do you think friends are important?
没有朋友大多数时间(much of the time )我们都会很孤独,虽然有的时候一个人也是很自在的(it’s nice to be left alone), 这里对于nice 替换可以有brilliant, fantastic等一类的词语。 但是无人交谈(have no one to talk to)也是很可怕的。 (Friends should be held close),因为他们是我们能拥有的最有价值的东西(the most valuable things)。
Of course friends are important! Without friends we would be lonely much of the time, and although sometimes it’s nice to be left alone, it would be horrible to have no one to talk to. With friends we can enjoy similar interests, talk about our lives and share experiences. Friends should be held close, because they’re some of the most valuable things we can have. A true friend will always be there for you when you need them most. A strong group of friends is as good as, if not better than, a family.
2. Do you prefer to have one or two close friends or a wide circle of friends?
这道题需要注意的是在题目中首先要明白a wide circle of friends的意思,表示大量的,很多的朋友,然后以自己的想法和态度对于有一两个密友(one or two close friends)和很多的朋友(a wide circle of friends)这个比较宽泛的概念进行论述。
I have a wide range of interests, so I think it’s good to have a wide circle of friends because that way I’m always able to find someone who I can talk to about something. To be honest though, it’s much better to have one or two close friends because those are the friends that count. Close friends will always stick by you through thick and thin, and you can talk about more personal issues than you can with mere acquaintances. I’ve had many, many friends over the years but I’ve lost touch with most of them. Only a few have been my friends the whole time, and I think that’s the mark of true friendship.
3. What do you think is the difference between a “close friend” and a “best friend”?
Some people attach great significance to the title of “best friend”. Personally, I don’t think it’s possible to single one person out as the “best” and better than other friends. Sometimes it makes your other friends feel inferior because they are not given this title. The idea of a best friend is a good one though: it means someone who you absolutely trust, have known for a long time and get along with very well. It’s a special relationship that means a lot to both people.
4. How can one distinguish between a close friend and an acquaintance?
It’s easy tell the difference. An acquaintance may be someone you enjoy spending time with and probably has similar interests to you, but you don’t know enough about each other to really be good friends. Acquaintances are often made at school or work where people spend a lot of time with each other, and you probably like them and enjoy being with them but don’t have much of a relationship beyond that. A close friend is someone who you’ve maybe known for a long time and know very well. A close friend is someone you can talk to about your thoughts and feelings, but you probably wouldn’t do that with an acquaintance.

The experience I am going to tell you is that I taught my mother how to use Wechat to send audio messages. My mother is an old lady marching towards her 60s. She did not attend college but went to work directly after high school, which was quite common in her era. Ever since marriage, her life center has been put at the family and she made sure my father and I eat well and dress well, and we have a nice clean house. Thus she did not have much time to pay attention to the development of technology and often felt puzzled facing all those high-tech devices like smart-phones, laptops and smart televisions.
Last spring festival, my mother asked me whether I knew how to send audio messages through Wechat. Since she was getting older and developing presbyopia, texting became pretty challenging. She figured she might use audio messages instead, but did not know how. I said of course and patiently showed her how to open the app, how to switch between text and audio, how to record, where she should speak to, and how to send. She was so careful that she even wrote down all these procedures. After several practice, she could do this by herself. I saw a big smile appear on her face.
I was happy too. My mother has been tending me for all her life. Now it is my turn to take care of her.

Some of the attractive places are Royal Botanic Garden, Hyde Park, Queen Victoria Building, Sydney Town hall, Macquarie Lighthouse, Australia Square, Sydney Opera House and so on.
Describe a city or country you most want to live in the future
You should say:
What is it
Where is it located
Why do you like it
The city I most want to live in the future is Guangzhou. It is located in Guangdong Province, southern China. It's not far away from Hong Kong.
I like to live in this city for several reasons. First of all, it's warm in winter. I personally don't like cold weather. I can still wear sweaters or shirts in December in Guangzhou. Secondly, Guangzhou has a great job market. Career planning is one of the most important things for me.
When I consider the city is livable or not, I pay more attention to the job market of the city. Guangzhou is one of the most developed cities in China. In the future, it will need all kinds of professionals to build the city better. I believe this will be a good opportunity. The last reason is the delicious food in Guangzhou. Guangzhou is famous for dim sum, and dim sum is my favorite food.

“Twenty...nineteen......”M“night...Asian...musicawards......best...dance...performance solo...”
1. 熟悉评分标准;
2. 根据问题编写答案;
3. 录音,重听,纠正,提高;
4. 坚持每天训练不放弃;
2.根据语料库熟悉part1、part2常考话题,写出每个话题的具体回答,自我修改或找老师修改语法错误,保证基础语句没有问题的情况下将语料复述下来。每天坚持练习不同话题,坚持写和背结合;
fluency and coherence.
5分:usually maintains flow of speech but uses repetition, self-correction and/or slow speech to keep going.
may over-use certain connectives and discourse markers
produces simple speech fluently, but more complex communication causes fluency problems.
6分:is willing to speak at length, though may lose coherence at times due to occasional repetition, self-correction or hesitation.
uses a range of connectives and discourse markers but not always appropriately.
Connectives指的是连词,包括and, but, so, then, however, not only but also, although, firstly, to begin with, originally, in the first place, first of all, to be honest...等等。
Discourse markers
Oops.. let me think now
Wow! Now, let me see...
Eh.. How shall I put it
Gee! What to say
gosh How to say it
Mhm. Than't an interesting question
Nah. Aha!
2.2lexical resource
5: manages to talk about familiar and unfamiliar topics but uses vocabulary with limited flexibility
attempts to use paraphrase but with limited flexibility
6: use a wide enough vocabulary to discuss topics at length and make meaning clear in spite of inapppropriacies.
generally paraphrases successfully.
用英文解释就是to write or say something by using different words.
grammatical range and accuracy.
5: produces basic sentence forms with reasonable accuracy
uses a limited range of more complex structures, but these usually contain errors and may cause some comprehension problems.
6: use a mix of simple and complex structures, but with limited flexibility
may make frequent mistakes with complex structures, though these rarely cause comprehension problems.
pronunciation.
6:uses a range of pronunciation features with mixed control
shows some effective use of features but this is not sustained
can generally be understood throughout, though mispronunciation of individual words or sounds reduces clarity at times.
5: shows some, but not all, the positive features of band 6.
elision
这种现象我们遇到的很多,比如最简单的do not, did not, can not分别读成don’t didn’t 和can’t。 I will=I'll there is=there's I’ve been to等等。
connected speech
比如pick it up, 外国人说的时候是pi cki tu p,在比如talk about it 会变成tal ka bou ti t.
schwa
这体现在太多的句子中,当然这里面举两个非常实用的例子:be going to和want to两者分别都会说成be gonna和wanna。!
I went to the park with my friend the other day. She was my good friend in high school and we haven’t seen each other for almost a year. As we were both having our semester break, we wanted to meet and catch up over dinner.
We actually planned to meet each other at the park and then decide on where to go later, but my friend got there pretty late so we ended up staying there. We got two takeout milk tea glasses and kebabs from a small street vendor and found a comfortable corner to enjoy ourselves. We sat there watching people passing by, talking about random things that came up. The weather that day was pretty nice actually. It was raining in the evening all week, so we were worried that we might have to go home early. But it turned out to be a fine evening.
I guess what makes the day special was the fact that, despite having to wait for my friend to show up and then not going anywhere like we originally planned to, we still had a lot more fun than I had expected. We updated each other on what was going on in our lives and discussed our plans for the future. It was a nice feeling to know even though we couldn’t meet and talk frequently, we could still bond easily over milk tea and kebabs. It made me realize that sometimes we only need good company and good conversations to make something memorable.
Who should people spend more time with?Family or friends?
The main reason why family time is important is because you need to develop ties and bond with your family. Often kids decide to join gangs or groups because they welcome them in, to become a part of their family. ... Spending family time together ensures that a deep, strong, family bond develops.
What’s the difference between staying with friends and staying with family?
They know your secrets, family do not know.(in most of the times), they wont bother (friends) if you are waking up late in morning.
You can live your life the way you want, i mean you can play music in high volume, you can go out any time......etc etc, but whenever you are home you are suppose to be in disciplined manner.
Do people prefer being with a large group of people or with a few friends?
A few close ones is what I thought at first, then I realized it depends on your capacity to love and respect others and the culture you share.
Friends should challenge you to be a better person. They share. They support. I don't think you can have too many friends. You just have to adapt the expectations.
Do science and technology improve the relationship between people?
technology plays a role in romantic relationship communication. Since people in relationships tend to use multiple methods of communicating (e.g., phone, text, email, social media), they argue that the way those modes connect with one another matters. Their Communicative Interdependence Perspective says that if my husband and I are able to easily switch from communicating face-to-face in the morning, to gchatting during the day, to communicating face-to-face again at night, our relationship is likely closer and more satisfying.
The environmental problem is getting more serious.
There has been a rapid increase of farmers moving to the cities.
2.评价
...play a important role in our lives.
Friendship is something we all take seriously.
By and large, Chinese people are very respectful of the elderly.
On the whole, Chinese students receive a good education in the basics.
By and large和On the whole都是很好的过渡词。
It seems to me (that)…
What I reckon is…
I’d like to point out that...
In my opinoin, there are three way of looking at it. First of all...
I can come up with three reasons for the...
I have every intention of...
If I am not successful , that is, if something goes wrong, I think I will probably...
I feel inclined to...
I don‘t know if I will, but I might be able to...
也可以是比较简单的I am planning on...
I felt so happy that I could jump for joy.
I felt like I was in heaven.
It impressed me deeply.
I felt so happy that I could jump for joy. 或是It make me...
The first thing you should do/need to do is to plug it in.
The first step is to get the ingredients prepared.
After that, you should press the button.
The last thing you need to do is turn off the stove.
I don’t think I’ve seen anything I like better.
…is a marvelous way of spending a day off.
There’s nothing I enjoy more than…
I‘m very keen on...
I’m very keen on pop music这样的例句。
因为像是My favorite sport is...
There is no words to express how much I like it.
It has many features.
It is red colored with a steep roof.
It’s a 3 room apartment, and it’s about 80 square meters.
I can still remember the time when I passed my entrance examinations.
I will never forget when I first when to ....
Once, when I was a college student, I went on a trip which I will never forget.
I can still remember sth或是I will never forget when I...
Cambridge 5 Test 2 Section3 Question 24
Listening to British students’
Language because of:
normal speed
large amount of ……………………
与此相同修饰不可数名词的还有:plenty of ; a great deal of ; a sum of
而修饰可数名词的有:a number of; many;
Cambridge 4 Test 4 Questions 24 and 26
Q24: to show how……………grow
Q26: to teach children about how …………….. is made up
NOW TURN TO SECTION ONE时,才能打开听力试卷。
Cambridge5 Test4 Question 21
Problems: been affected by drop in…………..
NO MORE THAN THREE WORDS,但最容易出错的情况是NO MORE THAN ONE WORD AND /OR A NUMBER。
Write ONE WORD AND /OR A NUMBER for each answer.
题目:
Date of birth: …………………..
原文:the twenty-seventh of the first of 1973
Cambridge 5 Test 4 Question 11
The next meeting of the soccer club will be in the ………..in King’s Park on 2 July.
很多考生会用到一些语句,比如说well; it’s a good question.
1. Who is your favourite celebrity in China?
Off the top of my head, I guess I would have to say it’s Jack Ma. I’m not sure if you’ve heard of him, but he’s the founder of Alibaba, and one of the most successful businessmen in the country. And I basically admire him for everything that he’s achieved, especially as I think he had to deal with a lot of rejection early on in his career. So yeah, I’d say he’s probably my favourite celebrity here in China.
2. Would you want to be a celebrity in the future?
I don’t know actually, because obviously it would be nice to be adored everywhere you go, and have lots of VIP treatment travelling around the world. That would be quite nice! But I think there would be a lot of downsides as well, for example lack of privacy, the paparazzi. So I think all things considered, I probably wouldn’t want to be a celebrity.
3. Do you like reading about celebrities?
Yeah I do, but it also depends on the content, because I mean, pointless stuff about what they get up toin their private life doesn’t really interest me that much. But what does interest me is reading about how they became good at what they do, because I think there’s a lot that can be learnt from them.
4. Have you ever met a celebrity?
Um… I don’t actually think I have. It would be nice to, but up to now I can’t say that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting any! I mean, I’ve been to a few pop concerts and seen some famous singers perform, but I don’t think really counts, as I’ve never actually met a celebrity up close or shaken their hand or anything.
5. Do you think we should protect famous people’s privacy?
Yeah, without a doubt, cos I think privacy is something that everyone should have, regardless of who they are. So just because someone’s famous, I don’t think that gives us the right to go intruding into their private life!
6. How do celebrities influence their fans in China?
I’m not really that sure to be honest with you – I’ve never really thought about it! But I suppose one aspect could be the clothes they wear, you know, that’s probably likely to influence their fans choice of clothes to some extent. And uh... what else? Um.. oh yeah, I guess their general behavior may also have some kind of influence on their fans. So for example, if a celebrity conducts himself well, then it’s probably gonna rub off on his fans and have a positive effect on them, and vice versa.
