一、引入新课

问题:刀具在砂轮上磨削时,为什么会刀具发热?

学生回答:原因是通过摩擦力做功,机械能转化为内能。

问题:在暖气片上放有一瓶冷水,过一段时间后水会出现什么现象?出现这一现象的原因?

学生回答:变热,这是通过热量传递使这瓶水内能增加。

老师引导:这些实例中,物体的内能增加了,是由其他形式能转化来的.或是从其他物体转移来的,今天要学习能的转化和转移过程中数量之间有什么关系?

二、新课教授

1.自然界存在多种形式的能量

提出问题:当今世界的三大产业是能源、材料和信息,自然界中的能量以各种形式存在着,你能说出能量的几种存在形式吗?

学生回答:机械能、电能、磁能、内能等等。

日常生活中的烧饭、取暖、照明、出行等都需要能量。我们所需要的能量都是谁提供的呢?

学生回答:煤、石油、天然气、电等等。

进一步分析利用能源时需要发生的变化而引入能的相互转化。

2.不同形式的能之间,在一定条件下可以相互转化

设疑:

演示打气筒打气,让同学们感觉打气筒外壁的温度变化。

请同学解释所发生的现象的原因:活塞与筒壁摩擦,将机械能转化为内能。

指出类似现象在生活中很常见,请同学列举实例,并进行分析。

举例练习:

①电炉取暖:电能→内能;

②煤燃烧:化学能→内能;

③炽热灯灯丝发光:内能→光能;

④把一铁块放入盛有热水的烧杯中:说明内能发生转移。

归纳:在一定条件下,各种形式的能量可以相互转化和转移。

3.能量再转移和转化过程中遵循什么样的规律呢?

⑴机械能在转化过程中守恒

演示单摆摆动过程:

①回忆机械能之间是如何转化的:重力势能→动能→重力势能。

②解释每次达到最高点很接近的原因:如果没有摩擦时机械能守恒。

③得到结论:最初具有的机械能=最末物体具有的机械能+转化为其他形式的能即总能量守恒。

⑵内能在转移过程中守恒

把一铁块放入盛有热水的烧杯中,铁块从周围水中吸收了热量使它内能增加,温度升高;热水则要放出热量,内能减少,温度降低。这一过程中如果没有热量散失,热水所放出热量就等于铁块所吸收的热量。

归纳:能量在转移过程中是守恒的。

结论:大量事实证明,在普遍存在的能量的转化和转移过程中,消耗多少某种形式的能量,就得到多少其他形式的能量。如在热传递过程中,高温物体放出多少热量(减少多少内能),低温物体就吸收多少热量(增加多少内能);克服摩擦力做了多少功,就有多少机械能转化为内能,但能量的总量不变。

以上规律是人类经过长期的实践探索,直到19世纪,才确立了这个自然界最普遍的定律棗能量的转化守恒定律。通常把它表述为:

能量既不会消灭,也不会创生,它只会从一种形式转化为其他形式,或者从一个物体转移到另一个物体,而在转化和转移的过程中,能量的总保持不变。

【小结】

能量的转化和守恒定律是自然界最普遍的、最重要的定律之一。

(1)能量守恒定律普遍适用。在形形色色的自然现象中,只要有能量的转化,就一定服从能量守恒规律。从物理的、化学的现象到地质的、生物的现象,大到宇宙天体的演变,小到原子核内部粒子的运动,都服从能量守恒的规律。

(2)能量守恒定律反映了自然现象的普遍联系。自然界的各种现象都不是孤立的,而是相互联系的。电灯发光跟电流有联系,电能转化为光能反映了这种联系。植物生长更不是孤立的,要靠阳光进行光合作用才能生长,光能转化为化学能反映了这种联系。

(3)能量守恒定律是人类认识自然的重要依据。人类认识自然,就要根据种种自然现象,总结规律,能量守恒定律就是人类总结出的规律之一,而且人类认识的其他规律也必定符合能量守恒定律。1933年意大利科学家费米,在研究β衰变的过程中发现,能量不守恒。于是他根据能量守恒定律大胆预言了还有一种未发现的粒子,这就是现在已被科学界公认的中微子。这一事例说明了能明守恒定律,已成为人类认识自然的重要依据。

(4)能量守恒定律是人类利用自然的重要武器。纵观人类科学技术进步的历史,也是一部认识能量、利用能量、实现能量转化的历史。从原始人钻木取火,到水能利用;从蒸汽机发明,到电能的利用;从太阳能,到核能的利用。人类总是在认识、利用能源,逐步实现能量的转化。
