初三英语新课结束后,进入总复习阶段,往往有三个月左右的时间。在这段时间里,如何通过短时间的复习,做到事半功倍,提高全体学生的成绩,是摆在我们全体初三老师面前紧张而又艰巨的任务,这也是我们经常研究和探讨的问题。下面就简单谈一谈我们学校初三英语组的几点做法。
一、重视集体备课,团结就是力量
团结协作是取得胜利的法宝,团结就是力量,团结就有智慧。我们英语组在教研组长李建波老师的带领和组织下,认真落实集体备课,提前一周安排集体备课内容。先由主备人就下周要上的内容谈自己的看法,然后其他老师畅所欲言,发表自己的观点,各抒己见。从疑难问题的探讨到资料的查找;从教师的教法到学生的学法;从作业练习的布置到作业练习的检查;从同步的讲解到检测题的检测,从错题集的整理到检查,我们初三英语备课组六位老师步调一致,协同作战,取得了很好的效果。
二、合作学习在总复习中的运用初三英语总复习教学反思
小组合作学习(cooperative learning)教学模式,作为一种新型的教学组织形式,成为完成教学任务、组织课堂教学的重要手段之一。美国心理学家齐莫曼教授认为当学生在认知、动机、行为三个方面都是一个积极的参与者时,其学习就是自主的,自主的学习才是有效的学习。另外,以教师讲为主的复习,就不可能顾及全体学生,优秀生觉得在 “烫剩饭”,思维没有被激活,这种复习对他们来说就是无效或低效的;学困生刚复习第一册的时候可能还想下个决心认真学习,可是老师讲得太快太深,觉得“消化不了”,几节课的“消化不良”,有可能就会使他们干脆放弃英语。而有效的合作能充分发挥学生在学习过程中的主动性、积极性和创造性,使学生在学习过程中真正成为信息加工的主体和学科知识的主动构建者。以下是我们初三英语总复习中组织学生进行小组合作学习的一些做法。初三英语总复习教学反思
1 词汇复习:
单词是英语学习的基础。许多学困生就是因为单词不过关而形成的。单词的复习包括单词的拼写,词性,词形转换。为解决单词的.拼写,我们以往采用的方法是每天抽时间听写50个单词,没及格的重新听写。这种方法看起来简便易行,可是这样做有许多弊端:每天都有一些学生听写不及格,要找他们重新背重新听写实在令人头痛,在今年的初三英语复习中,我们根据成绩把学生分成四至五人的小组,(每组都要有优生)学生制定出个人的、小组的听写计划。学生每天上课时选定一个时间互相听写,互相批改或者小组换着批改。每个小组选出一个英语组长负责监督、督促,听写本每天上交,老师查看,考评每个小组,适时表扬或指出不足,激发了小组的学习积极性。 对于学困生来说,单词的变形、单词有数、时态的变化,他们只是模糊地知道一些,对于许多疑问,需要有人倾听他们的疑问,然后进行解答,老师不可能像孙悟空一样有分身术,单独给他们解难释疑,这就需要组里的“小老师”大显身手了。在帮助学困生的过程中,优生对知识点进行了更深一步的思考,大大提高了他们的辨析能力,而学困生得到了一对一的耐心帮助,得以解决英语学习路上的“拦路虎”,增强了英语学习的信心。
2 课文复习:
根据同步的编排,在上课的时候,我们就所要复习的内容加以整理,包括所涉及的语言话题功能和语法项目,帮助学生理顺知识结构。另外依据同步,我们把课本内容分成十几个话题:个人情况;家庭;朋友与周围的人;日常活动;学校生活(包括学习的科目、老师);个人喜好;计划与打算;购物(食品、衣服、书籍等);看病;天气;旅游与问路;居住的环境(包括动植物、污染、人口等方面);制定规章制度打电话等。学生围绕着话题,以小组为单位自己编对话,在学生自己编对话的过程,就是主动复习课本知识,提高运用英语能力的过程。学生在欣赏其他小组表演的过程中,锻炼了听力,提高了判断能力。
3 作文练习
写作文也是需要同学之间互相帮助的。老师给学生划分学习小组时,依据考试成绩,要确保每个小组都有两名以上作文好手,这样小组活动才可以顺利有效地进行,学生的作文能力才会有所提高。步骤如下:每位学生先自己写作,然后互相修改,英语程度较差的,有些句子表达不来,可以向小组成员求助,说出中文,别人帮他用英语表达。禁止抄袭!誊清后上交,教师批改后,按合作小组贴在教室的学习园地里,供大家欣赏、学习。在学生进行合作复习的过程中,教师必须时时提高警惕,密切关注着学生的一举一动,以确保学生在进行有效的学习,而不是在聊天或偷懒,某些小组合作进行得不顺利的话,必须及时予以帮助,或者调换小组成员。
三、初三一轮复习要注意的几个问题
1 “精” 一轮复习以《同步学习》为依托,既是教案也是学案,加上其它综合检测题,题量较大。在集体备课的时候要确立一些具有代表性的、题型典型的题目,做到精讲精练,即讲教材重点、难点,学生的疑点,知识能力的迁移点。这样能减少学生的负担,提高学生的学习效率。
2 “细” 不要放过在复习中学生出现的疑难点、难点,尤其是学生模糊不清的问题;或者老师认为简单的问题,学生一做就错的问题,讲解要细,挖掘要深,拓展要广,巩固性训练要有时效性。
3 “活” 在复习中多给学生提供练的机会,练的内容要全,练的方法要活,可以采取提问、讨论、游戏、活动等多种方式,这有利于巩固基本知识,又有利于培养学生分析、归纳、比较、概括等多种能力。
4 用好课本和《同步学习》一轮复习要抓好课本知识的掌握,整理、疏导、巩固和深化课本知识。强化知识点及其前后的联系,构建知识的点、线、面、体,培养综合运用知识分析问题、解决问题能力。《同步学习》内容全面,讲练结合,既注重基础性、阶段性、综合性,又体现出学习的层次性、渐进性。要有计划、有步骤指导使用,落实各知识点,选择典型题目训练,提升学生自己解答问题的综合能力。

浅谈素质教育与初三英语总复习
众所周知,所谓素质就是人经由先天自然遗传和后天在社会文化环境中实践积累而形成的生理、心理的内在的基础条件。若从英语教学的角度来谈素质,那就可以理解为人们学习和掌握英语的一种潜能,即它是人们的英语能力的形成及发挥的内在渊源。
其实这种说法与基础教育英语课程提出的“教学目标”并不矛盾,“英语课程标准”指出:“激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神;使学生掌握一定的基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定综合语言运用能力;培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神;帮助学生了解世界和中西方文化的差异,拓展视野,培养爱国主义精神,形成健康的人生观,为他们的终身学习和发展打下良好基础。”总之,就是强调能力。
能力与素质既是互相联系,又是互相制约。一般说来,素质越高,能力就是越强,两者之间的关系是具有互相转化的关系。也就是说,素质是决定能力的最主要的因素,具备什么样的素质就有什么样的能力。如:记忆素质优良的人,其记忆能力就越强。因此,能力是依赖素质的形成和发展,并在活动中发挥作用。
那么初中毕业班在总复习中要不要搞素质教育呢?目前在这个问题上仍然持着两种见解,一种认为,初三年英语中复习就是“为了应付中考” ;“没有必要提什么素质教育” ;另一种认为,“初三年英语中复习必须不忘素质教育”。笔者认同后一种看法。理由是,初中毕业班的教师肩负着双重的重任,他既要帮助指导考生系统归纳、总结、巩固初中三年来所学的知识,从而提高他们对中考的应试能力,使他们顺利地通过中考的重大考试;又要“为进入高中学习,初步打好基础” 。基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能,形成一定的综合语言运用能力。实际上,“听、说、读、写”的要求已经提出多年了,这种要求无疑是个全面的要求。这应该是个比较全面的科学。专家们研究表明“听、说、读、写”的关系是密切相连、互相渗透的关系。一般说,口头表达能力强的'人,书面表达能力也强;听和读是说的基础,读和写能力的提高又必须建立在听和读能力提高的基础上。综上所述,我们不难断定:培养和提高学习英语能力时,离不开其依赖的基础 -- 素质。在英语教学中,语言能力是交际能力的基础。语音、语法、词汇的教学及听、说、读、写的训练是英语交际能力的前提。这种教学思想与中考总复习并不矛盾。相反地,初三英语总复习中注意培养学生素质,其教学素质一定好的 。多年来,初中英语教学使我领悟到:要想达到总复习不忘素质教育就必须做到以下几个方面:
(一) 坚持听说能力的训练
如上所谈,为了提高素质,初三英语总复习阶段听说能力势在必行,不能忽视,笔者往往采取以下做法:
1、坚持值日生报告制。充分利用5分钟,为学生提供听说机会,在这段时间,教师也经常口述或朗读一些短篇故事、对话,提供听说机会,同时补充一些有关英语口语中表达习惯的差异知识。如英语中用 “Hi” 、“Hi” 、“Dood morning!”等称呼;而汉语则用 “Have you eaten yet?” 或 “Where are you going ?”。其实在英语中,这两句分别是表示你邀请别人与你一道同餐和你对别人不礼貌,你干涉了别人的私事。
2、复习每篇课文前,通过听新教材课文录音,模仿了地道的英美人语音、语调,恢复了听力练习,也使学生再现课文的内容。
3、适当补充难易适当的听力练习,再强化听说能力。
(二)“听写”要贯于英语教学始终
由于“应试教育”的弊端,使初三毕业班的不少老师忽视了听写,甚至取消听写。笔者认为这种情况有悖“英语课程标准”的要求,不利于英语综合能力的提高。多年的教学实践和上高中后反馈信息证明了听写是初中英语教学的一个重要环节,应坚持始终。我教过的大部分上高中学生说:“初中听写的效果对他们上高中听语音课感到容易” 。有的来信写道:“Ditaction is very important in English class. It is helpful for us to study English further.”。几年来,我在毕业班坚持三听写:①听写单词、短语、写出划线音标。②听写课文有关段落。③听写结构简单、没有生词的材料。(如:便条、书信、通知等)从中收到很好的效果。
(二) 阅读能力的培养是英语教学的主要内容。
“读”有两种概念。一是出声“朗读”(即:念“),二是不出声”阅读“。在毕业班复习中,自然以后者为主。心理学家及语言学家们认为,阅读技能是最基本的阅读能力,是顺利完成阅读能力方法。它有三个基本的要素速度、理解、和词汇量。通过阅读同学们可以培养自己语感,而语感又是学好英语的重要因素。从中考角度看,阅读理解、完形填空占重要地位,所以阅读训练在英语学习中是显得尤为重要的一环。
①强化阅读训练。英语阅读与其他学科不同,并非一朝一夕可以学好,也不是几个就能突击的。它需要平时点点滴滴、日日夜夜积累的。要培养学生英语阅读能力,首先教师必须要求每个学生每日做一篇阅读理解题,每日在打印答题卡上写一个句子,让学生交上来批改;然后下堂课时在班上让学生讲这一篇短文的大意;尔后,就对学生错得最多的问题进行分析。由此而来,学生们的自觉性就慢慢提高了。为了让学?quot;热”起来,进一步提高阅读水平,老师必须精心设置一些恰当的阅读材料,让学生每日读两篇短文。一篇即要看又要做后面的题目,谓之精读;一篇只看不做,培养语感,谓之泛读。持久下去,学生们一拿到阅读题就进入阅读的状态。这样强化训练:一来,适应中考;二来,提高了学生的阅读能力。
②教会学生带着问题理解。理解对阅读能力有决定性的意义,教师应设计一些合理的阅读练习。教师要引导学生在阅读前、中、后都要向自己提出些问题;并鼓励学生都用自我提高的阅读 方法。
③训练学生阅读速度。我们在复习中一段时间进行单项训练,在限时的阅读(每分钟60左右)同时,注意帮助学生纠正“回视”的坏习惯,培养“跳跃式”阅读法,逐步扩大“识别间距”和逐步克服“心译”的依赖。这样做,使学生在做完形、阅读理解、是非几类题时就不会感到棘手了。
④词汇的掌握对提高阅读速度和理解程度有很大的影响。掌握词汇越多,阅读速度才能越快,理解程度才能越深。
通过这些方法的实施,诚然有量变到质变,大多数的学生提高阅读的技巧,也就是他们的素质 - 潜能增加了。
(三)素质教育在活动中
“英语课程标准”指出:培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象能力和创新精神;帮助学生了解中西方文化差异,拓展视野,培养爱国主义精神,形成健康的人生观,为他们的终身学习和发展打系下良好基础。所以,我们不论在课内、外都要善于组织引导去培养、去发现那些优秀语言学习者,使他们具有强烈的语言交际欲望,给他们创造语言表达和各种机会。要培养毕业班的学生有这样的素质,就必须利用课外活动,开展书法、词汇、讲故事、演讲等竞赛,组织“国庆”、“元旦”、“五一”英语朗读会、英语晚会,鼓励学生走出课堂参加校外“英语角”活动,只要有机会就鼓励他们与“老外”交谈。对那些表现好的,效果显著者,发点小奖品,以资鼓励。
总而言之,课堂改革就是从学生的兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,因此,素质教育决不是一句空话,而必须加紧实施,否则很快就不适应当前改革的步伐。不仅低年级是这样,毕业班尤为如此。

1、语言难点分析
ago 与before
ago与before 是两个表示“以前”的概念的单词。在用法上,它们的区别是较大的。
1)ago和一般过去时的动词连用,表现现在以前的过去时间,它不能用于完成时态,例如:
Your friend was here a week ago, wasn't he? Of course he was.
before可以和完成时态连用,也常常与never连用,表示在早先或过去的某时间的“以前”。例如:
I never met him before. He's new to me.
下面以three years ago和three years before为例来进行比较。three years ago用于过去时态,表示从今天算起的“三年以前”;而three year before用于过去完成时态,表示从三年以前算起的过去。试看下面的比较:

B. I had met him three years before. I met you in 1992.
句A表示:“(从今天算起)三年前我遇见过他。”句B表示:“(从三年前追溯起)三年前我遇见过他一次。”

full与fill
(1)fill v.把……填满,常与with连用。如:
Please fill the bags with rice. We've got to take them to the poor family in the village.
fill也可以表示状态。相当与 be filled with。如:
Smoke filled the room. = The room was filled with smoke.房间里浓烟弥漫。
(2)fill in填入、填写、塞满,如:

lose与 miss
1)两者都表示“丢失”。lose的语气较强,含有丢失后不易找到;miss含有“发现丢失”之意。在很多情况下两者可换用。例如:
You said you have lost your watch. When did you miss it? 你说把手表丢了,你什么时候丢的?
2)lose通常用过去分词(lost)作定语或表语;而miss则用其ing形式(missing)作表语或定语。例如:
Is there anything missing (Is there anything lost) ?

二者都是介词,意为“关于,论及”等,一般情况下,二者可以互相替换,但二者有点区别:about常用于简单的或浅显的论述等,是一般用语,多用于讲故事,谈话;思考等;on多用于系统论述或专题讲演、论著等,具有学术性,如:

come up with
come up with= find or produce (an answer)意为“提出,提供”,它是由动词和介词一起构成的短语动词。它的另一个意思是“赶上”。例如:

pay for意为“给……报酬”,“付款”。常见句型有:(1) pay for+货物,(2) pay+名词/代词+for+物。例如:

used to
used to意为“过去经常”,它只有过去式,用于各种人称的单、复数,表示过去存在的,但现在已经停止的情况或习惯,后接动词原形。例如:
They used to come on foot,but they don’t do that again. They often come by bus. 他们过去经常步行来,现在不了。他们经常乘车来。
used to是表示过去经常重复的动作。在表示过去的习惯时,used to是比较规则的习惯,它与would不太一样,would侧重于叙述过去的光景,used to侧重于和现在相对照。
used to的疑问形式和否定形式可以用助词did或自身形成构成。美国人多用助动词 did;英国人多用used to本身。如:

如何做好中考复习安排?结合多年教学实践认为,主要应该做好以下几个方面的工作:
一、正确分析实际情况,做好全盘筹划
英语在中学教学中占有十分重要的地位。无论是在课程标准中的教学时间安排,还是在中考科目中赋分的比例,都对学生给予了较高的标准要求。而实际的教学,特别是山区的英语教学又面临了极大的困境:课堂是唯一的学习机会,校外的英语学习接触面和学习机会几乎没有,学习困难不能及时化解,日渐积累成为很多学生无法逾越的“鸿沟”。再加之受智力因素和其他社会因素的影响,学生对英语学习接受程度有快有慢,由此形成了巨大的差距。再就是中考复习任务重,三年学习内容的复习对多数学生来说是一项极为困难的事情。最为难办的就是要在短短的两三个月内完成任务。因此英语复习过程务必要有清晰的教学思路,明确的“战略”部署,恰当的“战术”运用,才能打有把握之战。
二、调动非智力因素,共同为学生中考复习服务
学生的中考复习,我们应该在知识和技能的指导、培训之外,在心理、环境、家庭等方面积极配合,大力支持。根据经验,通常应该做到以下一些工作:一是采用多种手段,激发学生的进取意识;二是创建良好的班级复习氛围,特别是小组复习、结对帮扶、教师的个别指导等方法,会让学生觉得中考复习轻松愉快;三是采取积极心理暗示,严格实施从易到难的梯级训练方式,使学生不断体会成功的喜悦,让他们觉得英语知识和技能的掌握并不难,时刻有“我能行,我一定能办到”的心理冲动;四是与家长紧密配合,在身体、生活、情绪等诸方面关注和体贴学生,教师和家长成为他们强大的精神支柱,让学生觉得并不是孤军奋战,可以有力地去掉学生的孤独感和空虚感,避免焦虑情绪。

三、精心安排时间,掌控进度,合理调整
初中的英语教学进度不比高中的情况,不能占用课外时间补课,所以通常只能赶在中考前三个月左右结束学科常规教学。通过多种方法比较,实践证明大多采用三轮复习方式。

制胜法宝:中考英语三轮复习策略
第一轮:强基础,树信心,注重全面性。时间大约用四十天左右。此处的“全面性”含有两个方面的含义:即知识的全面性和学生的全面性。主要任务是基础知识的复习。在这个环节应该不急不躁,全面掌握教材,注重基础为核心。教师平时对学生的学习掌握情况就成为复习的重要依据,学生对重点的掌握情况,对疑点的理解情况,易错点分布情况都是复习教学的“焦点”问题,多讲、重讲、多练就是我们的方法,自然对于中考的热点问题绝不轻易放掉,这种针对性极强的教学方式是要花费大量课外功夫的。由于知识在该阶段相对容易,学困生的学习难度不会太高,应该大量地让他们参与到学习活动中来,使他们常常产生“原来如此”的顿悟心理,树立起学习的自信心。
由于每级学生中各个群体的学习情况不尽相同,基础好坏不一,特别是各部分的知识点熟练程度有异,这就要求我们应当根据中考的要求来安排知识点的具体复习时间分配和练习强度。

第三轮:综合训练,模拟考试,正常发挥。时间大约为二十天。主要内容为适应性训练,以提高应试技巧。侧重培养学生的审题能力,知识考查和能力考查并重。训练方法为综合训练和模拟考试。综合训练是一种使学生所掌握的各种知识得以巩固的手段。模拟考试主要培养学生的时间意识和良好的应试心理。模拟训练中,让学生通过练习、思考、讲解,磨练解题方法和技巧,进一步提高自己的能力,同时分析复习中出现的问题,及时调整复习方法和策略。
以上三个阶段,系统复习教师重在引导点拨,充分调动全体学生的积极性,培养学生自主学习、自我归纳、自我总结的能力;专项训练阶段以题型为载体,渗透做法指导,注意选题的针对性和代表性;综合阶段采取课上课下做题想结合的方式,培养学生实事求是的态度,要求学生独立认真完成,查漏补缺。
英语冲刺六大注意事项:
1、每天要坚持听录音、跟读初三的英语课文,在听读过程中留意单词拼写、重点词汇与句型以及需要掌握的语言点,从而进一步落实基础知识,词汇表中的所有四会单词不仅要求会拼写,还要会运用。词汇表中三会单词也要求会拼写。动词不规则表也别忘背诵。

1.have been (to) 与 have gone (to)
have been与have gone都表示现在完成时态,表明动作已经发生了,但它们之间的含义是有不同的。
1)“have been in + 地点名词”或者“have been + 表位置的副词”含义是“在某地呆得过多久”。例如:
Mr Zhang has been in this school for ten years.He knows everyone here.

7. The more trees, the better的结构

The harder you work, the greater progress you will make. 你越用功,进步就越大。
The longer we stayed there, the more we like the people there.

注意:在“the more…,the more”这个句型中,“the”不能省略。

(1) 延续性动词: 表示动作能够持续发生一段时间的动词。如:
be, have, know, work, live, study, teach, speak, talk, draw, wait, wear, walk, sleep等。

高小姐七点起就到这儿了。(此句中不能用arrived或come)
I have had the bike for five years.这辆自行车我已经买了五年了。(不能用bought)
(2) 非延续性动词
表示一个动作刚刚发生即告结束。如:
come, go, arrive, reach, see, hear, close, leave, begin, start, lose, fall, join, die, get up等。它们可以用于完成时态的第一种,说明某个动作的结果还存在。但它们不可以用于完成时态的第二种。
Grandpa Wang has died. 王大爷已经去世了。
The film has begun.电影已经开映。(现正放映)
这类动词不能和表示一段时间的状语连用。如:要表达“王大爷已经去世两年了”应这样写:Grandpa Wang has been dead for two years. 而不能写成:
Grandpa Wang has died for two years.
注:在for+时间段或 since+时间点的词组或句子上进行画线部分提问要用how long。同时用how long开始的句子中的谓语要用延续性的动词(时态不限)。
